Great atmosphere, could definitely come here as a small social gathering or to study. The blueberry glazed French Toast was amazing. Along with an iced Mocha Mint coffee. Would definitely recommend this location to others.
Great service by Kylie. Recommend for a quick lunch. Chicken Presto Melt was served on yummy crunchy bread. Mom's Raspberry Chocolate Danish was big and tasty. She said her regular coffee was good.
Staff was really nice. Ordered two iced coffee’s the Irish lady I think it’s called and the Yankee doodle. They were both yummy. the Yankee doodle I think it’s my favorite. I also ordered two breakfast sandwiches, they were delicious. The egg is a little thick for my preference. Service did not take long for my to go order.
I have dined in and ordered take out. Love their coffees, chai tea, and hot chocolate drinks. as well as their breakfast and lunch menu items. Their country chicken salad croissant is excellent, as well as the turkey twist on the pretzel bun. Be sure to add a side of pasta salad. The summer salad is delicious. Their chicken velvet soup is wonderful, too. Can't decide? Try a Pick 2 combo and select from a cup of soup, side salad, 1/2 sandwich, and more to create your perfect pairing. Don't forget a coffee, which you can get hot, iced, or frozen. Their hot chocolate and seasonal combinations are amazing, as well as their desserts.
Good food, great coffee and a homey atmosphere. It has a good breakfast and lunch menu. It has extra seating in the back as well.
Stopped here on my way to Blue Springs. Little coffee shop with great atmosphere. I had a latte and it was above average. The cup it came in was pretty cool too. The pastries are wonderful. Lots to choose from service was pretty good, but could improve a little. Prices are reasonable as well. Will be back next time I’m in DeLand.
We enjoyed our lunch at the Boston Coffeehouse today. We both got Yankee Doodle coffees which was very good. I ordered the 1/2 chicken salad sandwich and cup of soup. Loved that option. My friend ordered a salad and soup. She said that was good too. On the way out we got two cannolis to go. All of their pastries looked delicious.
This little coffee shop was amazing. Coffees was fresh and very unique flavors. The food was great and fast service. We took ours Togo but the tables were filled and the breakfast brunch options were featured. Also many beautiful pastries and cakes. Be sure to try some cheesecake. Staff was super friendly and we will return again. The shop does close at 3pm but that is normal for Deland and a coffee shop. Very happy with our experience.
I gotta say... I love this place. The first time I visited, it was very picturesque. It was a cold and rainy morning and the little green-colored frame of the outside barely sticks out enough to notice it from the road. Going here very much felt like going to a coffeehouse in Boston. Looking inside the window you can see all the happy customers enjoying there coffee and you feel like it's inviting you in. When you step inside, you feel like you're transported back in time to the 1700's in a sense. All the interior walls, floors, shelves, tables, and chairs are all a dark wood that softens the light, enhancing the atmosphere.
I've really liked all the food I've had here, but the kicker for me are their specialty coffees. One of my favorites being the Nutty Irish Lady, and I'll substitute the regular milk for coconut milk. They will also have special boards up that are constantly changing. Something that adds to the experience too when you dine-in are the mugs they serve the coffee in. So great! Their dessert case is amazing as well. Surely to balance the desserts, the hot food you can get leans towards being healthy options. I feel like it's satisfying how the food is good for you without being too much or too heavy for breakfast/lunch. Come in just for some coffee or treat yourself to a great morning!
