Top Cafes in Amstelveen, Netherlands

Iconic Restaurant on the edge of the Amsterdam forest. Came here after a walk to get something to drink. We got some hot chocolate milk & shared a delicious cheesecake which I can highly recommend. Will come back some day for a proper dinner!

Went there to have dinner with colleagues. Staff was kind and the restaurant has a nice vibe. The highlight was the vegetarian sate; it was a nice portion with fries and the sate was very tasty.

Nice terrace for a spring or summer sit down. A good destination after a long walk in the Amsterdamse Bos or around the Amstelveen Poel. A couple of good vegetarian options. Very relaxing place to meet with friends.

A popular restaurant with a large outdoor seating. Casual and lively. Simple menu. Appetisers were good, but was a little disappointed with the beef sate.

I can sense that the experience in and out of the place is different. Outdoor sitting was nice, polite staff. And considering I ordered a smoked salmon salad, no surprise on the velocity of the preparation. Dear chef, thanks, less onion maybe next time?
This is directed to the manager/owner: I do think one paper napkin is a bit under-doing it. I suggest 2 napkins with the fork and the knife; considering how busy your waiters are, it is not always easy to call them and ask for just an extra napkin.

Good solid place for a lunch. Prices reasonable. Friendly staff. Generous quantities of food. Great atmosphere.
