Service is horrible. Never saw such attitude.
Cafe with milk was cold. We ask to make it a warn they only took one and i need to move for second one. We ask water and never got it.
They smash cafe on table when came back. No smile and very bad attitude. Seems like they don’t like they work but seems happen to a lot of others visitors. Check review for make you an idea. Maybe good place but very bad experience.

Good coffee and food. The most appealing part is the cozy atmosphere. Besides, the staff is kind and elegant.

A quick break between sights found us at this small spot at a reasonably busy intersection. Excellent caffe and deliziosi dolci, they also had panini and slightly larger items if you were feeling exceptionally hungry or regular primi e secondi if wanted a regular meal.

Service was great and we had a seat at the outside tables that were setup in the street. Great place for a "quick" stop.
Perfect little local spot in Florence that should not be skipped. Servers were so beautiful and kind. Food was splendid to taste and the cozy vibe drew us in. Love the entire experience
Authentic delicious acidic V60!
Their special pumpkin coffee is also very nice. They serve good pastries as well.
One of the best ice creams I’ve ever had. Very fresh, flavorful and delicious.

Very nice place, like the history of the place. The hot chocolate was delicious. The 0.50l water bottle was more than 3€ which is very overpriced. The waitresses were very nice. One of them forgot my water, but just a minor thing.

There was a big line but it moved pretty quickly. Lots of options to choose from and the quality is pretty good. Fair prices and service is friendly.
The best coffee in Firenze in a very nice cafe with very friendly staff!!! Also the banana bread was very tasty! If you are a coffee lover, a must go place!
Loved everything about this place. The service is the best in town. You have to try the sweets and the Moroccan tea 😍

Highly recommended. Shout out to the best staff, Ronny 👋🏻
it is the platonic ideal of a tiny corner bakery.

Wir waren hier zum spontanen Frühstück auf einen Kaffee und ein Croissant 🥐 . Preislich unschlagbar gut, super nette Bedienung und es gibt Milchalternativen! Wir kommen gerne immer wieder!

Priced right. Great location. Fantastic service. We're staying a week or more in Firenze and each morning I walk down to get a cup of cappuccino, find a place on a bench in the small plaza, and read. Pastries and panino to go are affordable and great to go. If you're in old Firenze and seeking food values and a place to escape the crowds, I recommend this cafe and the plaza out front. "Readers Are Leaders" (and sometimes cappuccino drinkers. :)
Top quality gelato you can find in this place. They have many flavors and you can choose various portions. I recommend taking not more than 2 flavors at a time as the portions are big. If you are brave you can also get a giant sweet pastrt bun filled with gelato in it.

This place is very crowded. There was a queue but it does move fast. Once inside, you have no time to look at the flavours (which are all in Italian), shop is small and you are rushed. No complaints about the flavours/taste. However, there are other gelatarias which are equally good and less crowded. It’s in a heavy tourist traffic area, hence the crowd.

We loved the coffee here. Out of the 5 days of our stay in Florence, we had coffee here 3 days in a row. Even the food was good and the staff amazing. The place is always busy but never too crowded.
Wonderful morning breakfast place.
Ordered the
- hazelnut chocolate croissant
- cinnamon roll
- coffee misu (house fav)
- americano
- expresso

Loved them all; there is a wonderful seating area in the inside, outside level 1, and a level 2. Would recommend seating outside for leisure, and inside for business.

Its a very good ice cream place!

Ice cream is creamy and comes in different sizes. Would recommend going for a smaller size as the ice cream is quite filling!

Nearby the ice cream shop is the river with many great views!
This place was our go to breakfast place during our stay in Florence! The location is not too touristy, very cozy inside and offers a great variety of delicious Italian délicatesse for a very affordable price. Service is great too, definitely recommend :)

Classic tourist trap.

Went there with an Italian friend before and the prices were very reasonable.

However, when I went on my own, the prices were more than double what I had paid with my Italian friend.

Good breakfast with cornetto and caffe, very polite service. My favorite is one with pistacchio! Looks like they are baking them on site.
We were really exited about it but it was not incredible. Its great but similar flavor as others. I tried Vanilla and pistacho and would like to have an stronger flavor. $3.5 euros mine.

Nice cafe. They got 2 big Marzoco coffee machines, legit! They do serve Americano, even iced ones, so it seems to be mostly popular with tourists. Service-wise, we came here twice and both times they brought our coffee to the wrong table (weird considering there weren’t that many tables downstairs lol). Overall, it’s a cool place for a quick coffee. They got more seatings outdoor and upstairs also.

Gelato massively overpriced. Over two weeks in various towns and cities in Tuscany (including other places in Florence) we generally paid around €3-4 for a gelato, here it was €8.50! And of course the prices arent displayed so by the time they tell you you already have your gelato in hand and it's too late.

We had a quick stop for breakfast. Extremely rude staff. Extremely overpriced. A cup of tea made from hot water and a tea bag worth 6€. Cost 1 more € to add another tea bag. Latte half a cup for 5€. Nutella muffins that were worth 2€ at McDonald’s were double the price. Misleading by skipping some prices on the bakery. Staff kept insisting to sit inside to make more money on top. Rolling eyes and extremely misbehaving individuals at the counter and bakery.
Everything was mediocre. Worst experience at this place from all of Italy.
Don’t waste your money.
Great spot if you need milk alternatives like oat milk. Nice selection of well made coffee drinks but not cheap. We went 3 times during our time in Florence. Banana bread was good not great. Avocado toast very good, pancakes very good and pastry was excellent. Service was slow so don’t be in a rush. Seating out back or inside.

of course this is one of a typical “Tourist traps”. Ridiculous price!!! (a gelato: 8.5euro and a cappuccino: 4 euro)

But:
They have nice view to the street from tables upstairs.
The lady upstairs is very pleasant and kind ☺️.
Thats why im giving it 3* instead of 1 😉

We walked in here and sat up on the terrace for a quick espresso and I got a latte I believe. It was a nice view from up top while we waited for the rain to pass. Drinks were okay, it's hard for me to judge since I don't have coffee drinks often. We came back another day with a larger group at a busier time and 2 people got wrong orders but we were also a group of about 8. I had gotten a hot chocolate that time which was also okay. Nothing to recommend necessarily, just an okay experience all around.
AMAZING!! I had a double shot of Colombia that was so delicately fruity and milk chocolatey I wanted to drink a whole mug of it. The soft scrambled eggs were delicious and the v60 was even better!! The staff were so very nice and talked coffee with us. I was amazed that they roasted their own coffee. If you're a coffee head and in Florence, this is your spot.

This is definitely of the top geleterias in Florence and I would highly recommend trying it! They have a lot of flavors, we tried about 8 over multiple trips and I can say all of them were amazing in their own ways. My favorite ones were the passion fruit, the fig ricotta, the berries and the salted caramel, you really can’t go wrong with any of them. Definitely try multiple before picking your flavors. It’s crowded during peak times so you might have to way but they are also open until midnight!

I can not attest to the rest of their food as I only ordered a mousse cake, but I was thoroughly disappointed by the cake. It is labeled as mousse, but the cake was just flavourless frozen cream basically. I mean, I wouldn’t mind as much if they didn’t blatantly label it as mousse, but that was my expectation and this was by no means mousse what so ever and not even an ice cream texture either. The fruits that were on top were completely frozen, I would not recommend any of their desserts.
Do not go here if you’re a tourist. I’ve been to coffee bars in Rome and Florence so I had a certain expectation on how to order coffee. We got two small lattes to drink standing. She didn’t make fresh espresso, instead she made some nasty tasting instant coffee and poured milk over it. When we asked for water she asked how many, instead of giving us both a glass of water which is what I came to expect in several bars in Rome and Florence.
Incidentally, we saw some other guests come in who spoke Italian and they got fresh espresso. I don’t understand why I’d get a nasty coffee just because I’m a tourist.

In the end we were charged for the 1 glass of water as well. I don’t recommend this place at all. I’d have rather not had coffee at all.

We were completely ripped off. We were somehow charged 24 Euros for two ice creams. Having ordered the ice cream the vendor who served us said we could have an extra scoop of we would like. We thought he was just being generous and so accepted, but it would seem it was maybe a way of charging is a lot more. Being new to Florence and a bit flustered I didn't quite realize just how much we had paid until we walked away. I checked my payment card details as I couldn't quite believe it. Don't go here!
Had a refreshing stop here for espresso, panini, pastries and Strega. Attentive, friendly staff and delicious food.

Great place to get coffee and sandwich. Prices are good and food is delicious. Sandwich is only 3.50 euros and cappuccino is only 1.40 euros. Service is also good. They accept credit card and have WIFI. Unfortunately seating is limited and most of the time crowded.
We tried the pasta from the day menu and it was very tasty. The waitress was very kind and nice in Italian style. Considering the location, the prices are reasonable.
I think this is the cheapest coffee shop in Florence 😄. Good coffee, good location nice atmosphere in Florence to drink coffee in the morning, but limited seating.
A lovely neighborhood coffee spot. We were in twice today … understanding we were breaking tradition, it was nice to see XL cappuccino to go being offered this morning. We stopped back on our way home and were given an extra pastry (because they are small) with our coffees, which was a nice gesture.
The most beautiful café in the city, very warm and nice people working there !!
The quality of foods ,sweets and Coffee is the best.
Anna is professional she is very warm smiling welcome to the guests in this place !! Congratulations we will come back

This is an amazing Cafe, extremely friendly staff who spoke great English. They couldn't do enough for us. The pastries crumble so softly into your mouth with an explosion of cream filling, and an assortments of flavours. In Italy they call a Mocha "Marocchino", it's packed with flavour and great strong coffee flavour. Thank you so much would love to have come here again and again. Ciao grazie!

Charged for extra coperto yet did not receive anything. Usually, the nice restaurants give bread/snacks and sometimes charge for them. This place did not give us that and charged us. The staff were uninterested in the guests that weren't young and solo travelers. Pasta was ok, doubt it was fresh. View absolutely lovely so would recommend going there for a drink. Though they don't do Moretti.

First time I write a comment on Google : Please run away and don't go in this cafe, a real tourist trap : different prices are applied and don't match with the menu. We complained when we received the bill, the owner explained the prices are different because we stayed inside : we paid more than twice the prices shown at the entrance ! We paid but made it clear to the owner that it was outrageous and total robbery !

Saw the reviews after ordering and getting our seats 😂 … I must say that some of the reviews ring true and the prices on the item seem to be marked up significantly. Nothing great about the food either. But if you manage to get the patio area on level 2, it’s probably worth the view. Another star for the lady staff on the 2nd floor who was helpful and nice.
Very cute cafe, not too busy. Staff is very friendly! They have great English if anyone struggles with Italian. Also very cheap! Everything in our photo (2 croissants, an americano, and macchiato) was about €5,60.
My wife and I love this cafe. Our favorite place in Florence to grab an espresso or cappuccino. The staff is friendly and the drinks are great ☺️
Passing from the Ponte Vecchio and walking through the narrow streets, you arrive in Piazza della Passera, there is the Caffè degli Artigiani: it is a characteristic place with a very familiar atmosphere where we enjoyed excellent aperitifs! The staff were very gracious.

I live in Florence for a couple of years now and this place was ok..now it is very very bad. Bad service, bad food. A definite no go !
Tagliate di Manzo arrived cold. After sending it back the same meet arrived, overcooked and like chewing gum
When i told the waiter it was very bad he just said..ok.
This place offers continental breakfasts. Unfortunately, the Italians do not fully understand what they are. There was scrambled eggs, but the cheapest "orange juice" from the market, salty piece of bread and a portion of cheap jam in a small plastic package. I didn't know whether to add the jam to the eggs, jam or to the small salty bun. price: 10 euros. conclusion: if you are in Italy, eat like an Italian - for breakfast coffee and pasta. Basta!. beautiful interior and surroundings. service not very vigilant
I first visited the bar some 30 years ago when I stayed in Florence for two months at a neighboring language school. While ownership changed the folks still had the same welcoming spirit. When I return to Florence, I will always stop by to say Hi and have a Panino and a glass of wine.
Passed by this place one morning and decided to give it a shot. Safe to say I am absolutely impressed! The barista was very welcoming and their selection of coffee and pastries were amazing. Had a hard time choosing only one, would love to go back some time!
Great coffee, amazing croissant, and the best playlist I've heard in a coffee shop ever.

True Italian café experience! Absolutely adorable staff and delicious pastries! It you have any of them on its own it's going to be way too sweet but if you get a sip of coffee in between or even together, you will learn what a perfect balance of flavour means. The tart with custard and jam tastes like home and live and it's an absolute must try in my opinion!
Great little cafe with unique, rustic dessert options and strong coffee. The staff were very kind and helpful. The outdoor seating is especially nice.

Small coffee shop with cozy decor and good music. Staff spoke English and were very friendly. We had a few desserts, cappuccino and late. Both coffee and dessers were really good. At first coffee shop appears tiny with no space to sit, however, there is a doorway around the counter that leads to a larger room with tables. On the other side of the room, there is a staircase that leads upstairs, where they have more sitting space.

Slightly more expensive ordinary food in a nice location around Piazza San Firenze. Some menus provided didnt have any prices on them until requested for new menus. Staff were pleasant however and a nice glass of red wine went down well with a chocolate croissant, even in the morning.

Really good coffe, interesting options of desserts, especially awesome pistaccio mousse! Nice staff and atmosphere in this place. Highly recommended! :)
Excellent locally roasted specialty coffee, small but interesting blackboard menu with delicious vegan options. Service was also friendly and knowledgeable.
TERRIBLE we ordered two coffees and two tiny croissants and payed 17 euros . Each croissant was 2,5 € (you will see in the photo how tiny it is) the cappuccino was 4€ and the Americano was 3,5 € in the menu. BUT she charged me 6 € for each one of them cause I asked for a medium size. TOTAL RIP OFF DO NOT VISIT.

The best coffee I've had in Italy so far. The espresso has a touch of sour but not overwhelming like most hipster coffee. They also have cold brew which I haven't tasted. The cold brew is charged by size of cup.. no clue how much as the it just said s.q.

Really nice small cafe for drinks. Had some projector huddling under the warming lights watching the world go by. Toilets up a crazy windy staircase are something to experience.
