I was there for breakfast , was busy but the view was amazing and also to mention the food was quite delicious . With very simple menu every thing tastes really well also the coffee was good.
We ordered chicken burger , cheese and spinach sandwich and pork roll that we enjoyed along with a great view of the opera house and the harbour bridge.

My go-to lunch spot when I’m in circular quay. The best service and good tasty food. Sometimes it’s crowded, sometimes it’s not.

Decent prices for that area and good quantity. If I’m the MCA museum with unmatched views. If the cruise ship is not there, you can harbour bridge and Opera House.

I find this restaurant through my NRMA membership offers. The location is close to Circular Quay and the restaurant is spacious with many seats. Their dishes are delicious and well presented, but a bit salty. The staff is friendly. With the NRMA offer, we paid only half price! Such a good experience!

Good cafe overlooking the opera house and harbour bridge in a cafe with coveted and uncovered areas to sit in. Opportunity to get some great photos as set up high without the cost of paying for fine dining.
We had the ploughman platter and cauliflower salad. Self service order at counter.
Good location as you can combine this with looking around the art gallery and other iconic attractions.
Love your local guide -M❤️

Came here on a rainy Saturday noon and the place was busy. We wanted to get a good view of the harbor bridge and opera house but outdoor seatings were full.

The server didn’t take long to get us a table inside and we were seated near the corner of the cafe which could get us the opera house view too. Overall not a bad experience.

They have a pretty standard list of food and beverages on their menu. You could either place the order online by scanning their QR code or pay at the counter. I faced some technical issue of the system when I was about to check out using Apple Pay though. It took me some time to fill up my card details and check out to place my order. Not a very clever system to me.

Eventually I ordered an açaí bowl and my friend had Ploughman’s Platter and iced mocha. The server served our food and drinks pretty quick despite the busy hour.

I enjoyed my friend’s company with the opera house view here even though the weather was gloomy.

Really don’t want to let you in on this secret…great food and incredible views….especially with no cruise ship docked. I don’t think you can book but wait time for Friday lunch no issue. Outdoors full but scored a table near the window looking out to the bridge n opera house. Sensational!

And the prices are really reasonable! Thoroughly recommend this cafe and the MCA museum. Roasted cauliflower in cumin n sumac cous cous salad really fantastic.

MCA cafe offers a great combo of good food, fast service, and beautiful views of Sydney Harbour. Ordering via QR code is convenient, avoiding long lines. The staff are quick and friendly, letting you enjoy your meal and the nearby museum without delay. It's definitely a spot worth revisiting.

Amazing views from the MCA Cafe, although there was a cruise ship docked.
The staff were friendly and attentive and we were seated almost immediately. Seating is available indoors and outdoors is at a prime.
Great range of food and drinks on offer with vegan and gluten-free options. We ordered the beer battered fish and chips, burger and dips platter. I also had home lemonade which tasted like a mint julip.
Will definitely be back when we visit Sydney again.

The freshly-baked croissant was the highlight of our brunch - almost as good as the ones in Paris! The iced-mocha and iced-latte were refreshing on a hot Sydney day. While the Spanish omelette could probably use a bit more potatoes; but over-all, the experience was fantastic. Would definitely suit Sydney-tourists who want to experience a brunch @ The Rocks. (Btw, local Sydney-sider here who wanted to try it for myself - haha).

Great little cafe/restaurant/dessert and coffee place in the rocks.
MENU: Pasta, cakes, coffees make it a great lunch or night time location. Many locals come to grab a slice of cake and coffee.
LOCATION: Right near the port/harbour and terminal... Perfect if you arrive early for your cruise.
STAFF: Very attentive, friendly and informative. Surfaces are all kept cleaned etc.
SEATING: Ample outdoor seating. With one way street access/ very slow cars passing by every so often, making it good for those with prams/kids/dogs etc.
OVERALL: It has a great lively vibe.
THEY HAVE GLUTEN FREE CHEESECAKE!
Loved it and the very kind and generous staff. Thankyou

Very standard Cafè, nothing out of the ordinary. Expected a little more given the reviews. It was fine but nothing exciting, just the usual standard offerings available at almost any other cafe. The pancakes presentation looked good on the plate but were pretty dense and thick so missed out on bringing much flavour to the meal.

We enjoyed the delicious fish and chips and pita bread with variety of dips. Plenty for two! Cozy place to watch a cruise ship from our table by the window. Lovely brunch.

Nice restaurant with diverse menu options. There is outdoor dining along George Street as well as indoor dining. We were in a rush because of a show at the opera house. We made the server aware and service was quick. We had five people. We had made reservations online. There is a button on the website to reserve the table. They put two tables together for us so there was plenty of room. My friend wanted to try the kangaroo burger and he said it was good although more reminiscent of beef than other meats. I opted for lighter fare with the pulled lamb salad. It was good and did not taste gamy. Three of our party had seafood linguine. The pasta was done just right although the sauce could have been more flavorful by our standards. Easy walking distance from the ship. I would eat there again.

I was so delighted to find this cafe on Google maps when in Sydney recently and returned a month later - on both visits, excellent food and friendly service. Breakfast and lunch menus are fantastic and the only challenge is choosing between it all 😀
Thank you Team, and Terima Kasih banyak to the awesome Indonesian waiter 🙌

Busy place but worth the (usually quick) wait. Great food, friendly service, and relaxed vibe. I had the kangaroo burger and fried. It was a delicious meal after a morning spent walking across the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Great service and lovely dinner. Great setting.
Venison pie and chips were delicious
Crispy fried salmon tasty. Both on the specials.
The cheesecakes were divine. Mars and strawberry. Mars not pictured as I originally got the mud pie which I didn't like. Staff were happy to change it

We had a late lunch here when we were visiting the Sydney metropolis, the location is very convenient as such. We didn't have any wait time as it was outside peak hours. We got the kangaroo fillet with mashed potatoes and they were awesome, the sauce especially complements the meat so well. The service was great as well and we got our order served without much wait, highly recommend this place

Portions are super big and their desserts look amazing. I will definitely return to try some of their cakes. We had dinner here and got the spaghetti, gnocchi, and soup. Everything was really nice and the staff were also very friendly. They also have both indoor and outdoor seating.

very friendly and accomodating staff. one of the best burgers i've ever had, and chips were delicious. overall, would eat here again, a very pleasant experience.
The city's waterfront contemporary art space is always thrilling to explore this evening I played watermarked instruments befor experiencing the actual sound installation, followed by a trip through the Rio grande keep Mexico 🇲🇽 on my left & Texas as far right as they can go!
After that I could only walk across Circular Quay to the Opera house
Not a large gallery but worth a visit. Some interesting exhibits and lovely prints. If you're looking for a longer more expansive visit I'd say the Gallery of NSW Archibald is probably a better bet.

I visited for my lunch and I visited again for my breakfast on the next day. Both food and coffee were nice and worth repeating. The staff was very friendly and helpful. As this visit was during my holiday, there will not be a chance for me to visit again soon. However, I will definitely visit again if I have another chance to come to Sydney.
I saw an excellent exhibition of works by contemporary Australian artists and particularly enjoyed those done by artists of the First Nation.
I got a free guided tour which was very useful in understanding the background of the artists and their histories.
Very beautiful work!
An alternative to art. It is contemporary art.
It won't be to everyone's tastes.
If the Museum doors are open then open your mind and enter.
Pictures featured are from the Yoko Ono solo Sydney show plus other pieces from the museum's other free entry floors.
I like the diversity of mediums displayed at this museum. What impressed me the most was the staff. We asked about one of the paid event there and the staff asked for our preference and helped us decide if it's worth paying for. The museum is 5 minutes walk to the Rock Market and 5 minutes walk from Circular Quay train station and wharf where you can get a ferry to go to Manly Beach. It's a spacious museum so you have plenty of space to relax and enjoy the arts.
An enjoyable experience where calmness and tranquility, meshes well with visually appealing regional art. The second floor exhibits were free to peruse and helped me gain an appreciation of Australian artists. I'm glad I found this place, as it was a great escape.
Good mocha in the morning - I will need to come another time to actually try the food on the menu. I think the founder / owner (Dennis) was there this morning - all business and I like it (wants to make sure you get your coffee done right). Tasted fine and the barista did a good job. 👌🏻
Great building but the spaces are not used properly. Innovation and interactivity are key to attract everyone. Make sure you visit the cafe in the last level, stunning views.

We ate here every morning for breakfast on our travels. The staff was amazing. Roger and Mia welcomed us each morning, remembered us the second day. The food was top notch, delicious and presented professionally and artistically. We tried something new each morning and each dish was as perfect. Coffee was delicious. Quick service as well! Dennis was so kind. We loved the atmosphere. I wish I could have taken the whole place home with me. I highly recommend this fabulous restuarant cafe!
Really loved this museum! Free entry and so much good stuff to see! I spend a couple hours here exploring and saw a good amount - everything was so lovely and thought provoking. Lots of care put into the labels with lovely little child friendly notes too, and there also was advertised a free guided tour if I remember correctly. The rooftop cafe was bustling and looked lovely but I just visited for the view - it was so lovely I can see why so many people mentioned it! Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area
