We stopped for a light lunch. The service was super quick and attentive, that was especially appreciated by us after long walk around the city. Food was also really good. Overall enjoyable experience!
Cute and Cosy cafe to spend time in, reading a book. Note, hot chocolate literally means melted chocolate. The brownie was great, the chai was lovely also. Porridge was soso ans is served cold.

The food is ok, but nothing extraordinary. We were there for breakfast. Very kind staff and the food was well presented.

I think this is the best spot for Mondieu. Good seating area outside for summer (when I was there) as you have a great view of the streets and surrounding area.
The waitress was very polite and could speak English. Had an amazing hot chocolate, which was pretty much melted chocolate.
Cakes were great too.

The experience in this cafe is almost impossible to describe by words. Absolutely rude staff who has 0% clue what the word customer service means. I have travelled over 60 countries and visited 100s of places in my life but my experience at this Mondieu is the worst ever.
I highly recommend to stay away from this place.
Additionally - even after speaking to management the issue was not resolved and manager does not respond anymore as she did not keep her promise to sort out the issue initially.
I hardly leave such a harsh reviews but this place does not deserve anything else which is very sad for such a big chain of cafes across Bratislava and other cities in Slovakia as well as Dubai!

A beautiful discovery in Bratislava. Exceptional cakes and very kind staff. I fell in love with the idea of combining culture and worldliness. To be exported to Italy.

Upon entering, we asked the barista for a table and were pointed to one. We were not brought a menu or interacted with at all by any waitresses until we asked for a menu. I ordered the English breakfast and my partner ordered pancakes. The waitress came back to make sure I had ordered the English breakfast, I confirmed. When our food was brought out, I was given the vegan version of the English breakfast. This was more money and not what I ordered, but I did not want to wait for another dish when I had already had to wait for anyone to give us service. The toast, potatoes, and beans in tomato sauce were FABULOUS, but I really missed the poached eggs I had ordered. I'm not sure if I'd return here because of the lack of service.

This coffee place is in a book shop, which I found cool ! Ideal to focus for work or just to have peace, the place is quiet.
I took a flat white that was good, and a croissant that tasted nice 🥐
I recommend here.

Delicious, delicious, delicious! Not super cheap, but very high quality. I would call in a premium breakfast spot. Right on the main pedestrian street. Great ambiance!!

Visited Linos after reading mostly positive reviews. It was a very warm evening so decided to sit inside which seems nice and cool. Server was very polite and the menu offers a range of Italian dishes as well as a couple of burgers to choose from. I opted for the pesto pasta which was very nice, with a good portion size at a competitive price.

Sadly the server explained to me there had been an issue in the kitchen as my food took 35/40 minutes to arrive. Luckily I had spent the day doing walking tours and didn't mind spending time sat down in a cool environment.
Amazing place. And I could end there, but I’ll say more: food was simply delicious (the bread was definitely homemade), English breakfast was simply marvelous and the coffee is out of this world. This is one of the best places I’ve had breakfast in my life and I would come back to Bratislava only for their bread.

A gem place in Bratislava at such a amazing location in old town. Food was good and has vegan options in the menu. would prefer the outdoor seating in the sunny weather. Might be little expensive for food but not for drinks.

I decided I was going to sit down somewhere and came across this exact restaurant, it attracted me just from the exterior so I decided this is where I’ll have my breakfast and it was an amazing decision. I ordered English breakfast with some coffee. Although the coffee was quite expensive it is worth it. Service was good considering the restaurant was packed. The music really helps the atmosphere of the restaurant. Definitely would recommend to anybody visiting.

Took my family here for breakfast, servers were wonderful. They do have child high chairs as well for toddlers. Food was phenomenal as well as the drinks
Not bad but nothing special. Fair price. Stopped just for lunch and it was ok. Very limited menu.

The place is in a perfect location, especially if the weather is good to sit outside and watch the world go by. The food is nice, prices are reasonable.

Place is tiny, more space for smokers and less for non-smokers. The food was okay, there were nice traditional things and prices were normal. Place is usually with open doors because of the smokers, so you might be cold.

Very tasty food. Large portions. The raspberry lemonade is amazing. You can bring your dog with you. The waiter offered water for my dog, it was nice.

A lovely coffee shop with cozy and relaxing ambience and interesting decorations which is on the second floor of a book store. The staff were very friendly with good English and they also provided us with an English menu. They have a great selection of coffee and drinks. The coffee was very good and I really like the hot lemonade I ordered.

Nice looking place with good atmosphere. There are several places of the same franchise in the old town, this being the closest to the SNP Bridge.

If you’re looking only for a simple cup of coffee, however, I would recommend some other place (plenty to choose from in the area).

It was an average tasting coffee (maybe even below average) for a higher price, which wasn’t justified by anything. There are much better value (and taste) options around in this area.

Possible to pay by card 💳

Very California vibe with plants hanging, brick feature walls, and rustic charm. I arrived around 1pm and was able to be seated for 2 immediately.

The one page drinks menu had a handful of options. My table ordered 2 coffees (flat white and oatmilk caffe latte), which came out fairly quick and in colorful ceramic mugs.

Alternative milks
• Oatmilk + 0.60€
• Lactose free milk + 0.30€

Food: The Toasts surprised me. They were good and much larger in size than I was expecting. They chefs are very gracious with the toppings, so these will definitely fill you up.

Servers speak English and are very nice. It was nice not to feel rushed once i finished eating. I was able to enjoy the place even after I finished my meal and then asked for my check when I was ready to leave.

Great place to come for a cozy coffe. Staff is friendly and very attentive to every need. You can pick up a book (lots of English options) and read it with a tea or coffee or whatever. The large windows are also pleasant with the light. Really comfortable seats too. Perfect for a lazy afternoon or catch up with friends.
Today I was so impressed with my lunch in this small bistro in heart of Bratislava downtown! I can say I have tried the best pasta ever in Bratislava. My best regards to a chef! I finished my whole plate and was so surprised with the quality of the food for reasonable price and the short amount of time it took to receive it. Our waitress was sweet and helpful. Restaurant is clean and with feeling of warm home dining room. I will definitely be back as I would like to try also risotto from their menu. I highly recommend this place! Btw try their prosecco on tap, it is amazing:-)

Good location with a nice view from the patio but the seats are so uncomfortable and the chairs tiny especially when the serving plates are so huge. We had no space for our meal or drinks. The breakfast is available all day which was why we came for a late one. But my food was incredibly salty. I had the pancakes with feta and bacon which are naturally salty food and then a mountain of extra salt sprinkled on top.

Great way to start the day if you ask me, combining breakfast and books. The cozy café is inside the bookstore, which is reallyyyy big.

The tables are nice, and some in the middle are equipped with plugs so perfect to work from there. We saw a few customers having meetings, no problem 👌🏻
They have a few menus in English to make it easier. The price was a bit high.
The waitress was very nice and gave us some water before we even started.
The drinks and food we had was super. Just a small pity that it is running out quickly, we wanted to order four croissants, and they had already only three left 🥐

A thingy that made me smile, if you have to go to the toilet, don’t try opening the door (and look like a fool lol)…you have to ask for a key.

Its a coffee place inside of one of the biggest bookstore of Bratislava.
Nice atmosphere. There is a good decoration.
You can buy a book and enjoy a delicious coffee, tea or cold drink.
There is some delicious desserts like cheesecake.
Good customer service. A girl served us and she was very kind and she speaks good English. She served us water before we order something to drink.
It's a good place to have a coffee and dessert with friends.
It is a dog friendly place.
