Bratwurst war nicht richtig gebraten und Zwiebelsauce war mega-sauer. Kartoffelgratin war flüssig ohne Käse und überhaupt nicht gratiniert, die Stroganoff-Pilzsauce irgend etwas.
We ordered two cappuccinos to take away, they are partially cold and had no foam. We are disappointed by the price and quality.

Schade Abfall am Boden und ein gross-Sack mit Kaffeesatz am Boden, das ganze hinterliess ein unsauberer Eindruck. Bedienung lässt zu wünschen übrig. Kaffe ohne Liebe dabei wäre es doch so einfach. Mit etwas mehr Sauberkeit und Freundlichkeit und einem Schöggeli zum Kaffee wir werden sehen ….
Mr Roger in starbuck at bahnhofpl 6 is more intrested in serving customers based on their race than the money and time they are spending over products.
Flew into Zurich and about to take a train out. Wanted to grab a good local lunch. This is the spot. Short walk from the station. Food is fantastic. Service is great. Highly recommend!
Expensive ~ even for USA standard compared to quality that you get. Unfriendly staff, but in general ~ I already wrote my opinion about how unfriendly people are here ~ in my other reviews regarding Switzerland. Once you are here, you will understand that you as a tourist are not really welcome. Part of my family is from here ~ it’s just… unbelievable for me that this is general and applies to all places I have visited in Switzerland.
I needed just a cup of hot water, nothing else, to take my medicine. I was sure that I needed to pay cause nothing is free in this world BUT CHF 4.70 for hot water? simple hot water. Disgusting company
Cute, cozy place with a nice atmosphere and very good snacks and coffee. Ideal for working with laptop. Friendly staff as well. The only downside was that the wifi wasn't working, which is a shame in 2023 as I couldn't work with my laptop
Just finished a trip around Switzerland and Como, Italy and this was the best espresso I've had on the entire trip. Artisan roasted and prepared. This is not your usual overly dark roasted Illy coffee you get at most places. The coffee has a great flavor profile. If you appreciate coffee, this place is for you.
It’s spacious and a good working place with wifi and nice interior design! But the bathroom can be improved.

Really good coffee if in the area you should totally go to check it out, specially if you like specialty coffee. The End.. If that wasn't enough info and you want more details, you won't be disappointed even if your a coffee snob, they do have v60 filter coffee which is always amazing. A little disappointed there wasn't so much options in terms of African options (only any Ethiopian coffee was avaliable) which we specialise but I guess you can't have it all... P. S. Don't follow us if your looking for nagative reviews, we only focus on highlighting good coffee spots whereever we go and add to our list places with good and multiple African Specialty coffees to our recommended lists.
This is a great cafe with great food and excellent staff. Both times I've come I was served in excellent English, quickly and efficiently. The seating is plentiful but roomy and there are lots of natural light and pleasant, unobtrusive music.
The food is really worth it. The croissants are fresh, soft and flaky. The bagel sandwiches are also fresh and tasty, and they toast them lightly when you get one. Their orange juice really is fresh, and they make flavorful, strong coffee.
Most of the above can be gotten for about 16 francs with their breakfast deal. This is probably the best food value I've seen on this trip to Switzerland.

Excellent service. Came here for breakfast, we ordered the big breakfast for two (can’t remember what exactly it was called). It was very good and plenty of food for two people. Also had a couple of mimosas, be prepared they are strong but DELICIOUS! Highly recommended!
I really enjoyed the coffee, I would consider it one of the best options in Zurich HB. They offer oat milk as a vegan alternative. Service was really quick, we caught our train with time to spare.
Great experience and very tasty and fresh food. Liking my breakfast sweet, I went for the Full Breakfast option. Everything was full of flavour, from honey to ham to breads to cheeses. My black coffee was great as well. Prior to coming there for brunch, I read quite a few negative reviews about their staff but decided to take a chance as my focus was the food. Our overall experience was very enjoyable and the staff tending to our needs was very pleasant and helpful. She took a moment to answer our questions and provided some recommendations related to tourist attractions as well as Swiss cuisine restaurants. I would go back there again.
On the day management decides to give the kitchen to latin chefs the food quality will rise. Until then people have to be happy with the bad / median quality.

I was very pleased with my visit at Boréal last Saturday. I was looking for a place where I could spend a few hours working, and I stumbled across this coffee shop and decided to give it a go!
They offer a wide range of brews, classic coffees, and the possibility to personalize them with whipped cream and different syrups. They also have a variety of frappès and some teas. As for snacks, I saw quite a few bagels and a variety of baked goods like croissants, pain au chocolat, cinnamon buns, etc.
Because it was morning I decided to go for the (all day) small breakfast menù (10.80chf), which includes a small coffee (up to 2dl) of your choice, a croissant/pain au chocolat and a glass of fresh orange juice.
I decided to try their mochaccino and the pain au chocolat. Needless to say, I was very satisfied with my choice! I feel that the price was definitely fair for the amount of time I stayed in this cafè.
This place is laptop friendly, and I also found a socket to charge it under the bench in the sitting area close to the entrance. Unfortunately, it seems that there is no wi-fi, but it could be a temporary thing.
I would definitely stop by again in the future!

A supermarket food court. Clean, efficient, and reasonably priced for Zurich. Selection might be a bit limited, but it changes every day. Everything is available, from salad to hot food to the desserts. If you're just up to get a meal and don't look for something special, you're probably not wrong at this place :)

I’m only giving it a 4 because the Internet access is ridiculous. The store was clean and baristas professional and nice. Still, they only give you 10 minutes of free time by registering your e-mail address, then you keep having to renew it every 10 minutes when it expires. Come on Starbucks! Give us complete free wi-fi access, or at least 1/2 hour without logging in over and over. Some of us are very loyal customers and we shouldn’t have to deal with this nonsense. Free wi-fi access is all over the world. Don’t limit it in Switzerland!
Had an shock today and dislocated my ankle by accident! Staff here was so kind to me!!! Thank you very much!! Very very very clean upstairs and charger for phone possible!! The male staff was kind and welcoming. The food and coffee is delicious and we particularly enjoyed basking in the sun at the outside sitting area while having our brunch. We both had a lovely time 🩵 the crepes are yummy and the portion for the quiche great too.

A great place to come and relax or work over a good coffee. The place is big enough to host groups and tables are well designed to sit and work for longer time. Coffee is good , snacks are available at reasonable prices. I went on a sunny day, it was super warm inside than outside, Management take care ? Even the waitress is sweating :p

Great place for a coffee chat.
The set menu is quite affordable. We had the veggie curry and it included a small salad (12.50 CHF). The water is free.

Rude staff making racial comments assuming my nationality when I wanted to order a flat white saying I must be American and that I don't know real coffee. Coffee tasted awful and they used burned leftover milk.

Overall: very delicious and flavorful food, it was pretty easy to walk in and just get a table, though it's very popular and people tend to hang out.
Food: I had the croquet monsieur and it was delicious and flavorful. The side salad was also fresh and lightly dressed.

ViCafe is my favorite coffee place in Zurich. They offer the best coffee in the town. The staff there is very nice and fast. Sometimes there is a long queue but you still manage to get the coffee quite fast. The coffee offer is great and everyone will find what they like. The art in the coffee they make is amazing, but it won't last long as you want to taste the coffee with the first smell of it.

We visited Vicafe Bahnhofstrasse during April 2023 and we grabbed a couple of coffees. The product was amazing but the price was pretty high for some water, coffee and milk.
Stylish coffee shop at Central Station, with decaffeinated coffee & oat milk. No vegan food options, but good for a coffee
The crepes are really good [we have try the classics, the one with chocolate and the one with lemon and sugar: both of them were super tasty] and the menu offers interesting plates. The check is absolutely reasonable, especially for a city like Zurich, and everything is treated with care and attention to details. The guys of the staff are very kind and smiling: they make you feel really welcome. The venue is a little bit small and it can be quite crowded, however it is possible to reserve a table and eventually it is possible to sit at the counter.
A cozy french cafe in the old city area of Zürich. The tea is just amazing matching the sweet crepes. Looking forward to being back for a croissant and coffee.

The best coffee in Zürich and a cheaper option compared to many other coffee house options. The coffee tastes amazing and I highly recommend stopping by if you are into Lattes. They really know how to make the best and softest milk foam. Staff is nice, I kindly got a double shot for free. Only available for takeaway.
Wanted to buy a snack but person behind the counter wiped over mouth and nose with bare hands - nobody feels like eating something handed by that person. I left again. It seems nobody has learnt anything from the pandemic. Disgusting... This should be a simple rule for employees: no coughing people or people with running noses behind the counter, immediately wash hands after touching mouth and nose, etc.

the local ZooCafé is located outside, on the left side of the Zurich Zoological Garden. To access the ZooCafé there is therefore no need to buy a ticket, since it is located at the external entrance of the Zurich Zoological Garden. The internal furniture is made of natural wood, which makes the atmosphere truly relaxing and pleasant to stay in, spending time savoring the proposals offered and also giving pleasant attention to one's senses. We immerse ourselves in this way, pleasantly inspired to imagine what will come, stimulated by emotions and senses, preparing ourselves to go on an adventure in the guided tours inside the Zoo. The local ZooCafè is the starting point that regenerates us, creating values in harmony with man and nature.

This place is a life saver! Me and my husband had to go back to Lugano by train and everything was closed around 4 pm in town. We couldn't find anything to eat, but thanks to Migros cafe we managed to eat before long ride home. Of course not all buffet was full of choices but they had pretty decent food. We took bratwurst and potatoes, salmon, and veggies sauce. The place is very simple but has a nice view from window and they also have a terrace. We loved it.

Alles super vor die Mitarbeiter sind mega unfreundlich vorallem die blonde aus Bosnien und die Putzfrauen klauen das Zeug dass sie auf wc finden, bestimmt nicht alle aber bei 2 habe ich es schon mitbekommen weil ich habe 2goldringe gefunden und wollte sie abgeben und dann sagte Putzfrau sie mache dass ich soll es ihr geben, aber ich war gestern Nachmittag das und die hat es nie abgegeben, als ich sie darauf ansprach sagte sie es gehe mich nichts an weil ich es eh auch klauen wollte, nur schon das: sich 6 klauen sagt schon alles.... Und einander es mal das gleiche mit einem Handy da war es aber eine andere Putzfrau die hat dass am Mittag gefunden und weil es noch Wunder nahm bin ich 2 mal fragen gegangen ob jemand ein Handy abgegeben hat und es hiess jedes mal nein, echt schlimm.... Der Chef ist aber voll nett, und wenn ich ihn das nächste mal sehe werde ich es ihn auch sagen leider fehlen mir die Beweise......

A very nice cafe right in the heart of Zurich. Cozy with good fresh air as it spans both sides of the building. Also has outside seating facing the river.

Such a cute place to get a tea or coffee. Very conveniently located next to the trainstation. Such welcoming ambiance and friendly staff.
I am a big fan of ViCAFE. I usually go there for a morning flat white and it is always a pleasant experience. The staff is always friendly and attentive, despite how busy they are. It's a quick and easy place to stop by and grab a coffee on my way to work.
Big (300/400ml?) iced latte with plant-based milk for 5.50CHF in this location. Do I have to add anything?
The people were friendly and hospitable but the place itself was pretty average. The calzone was burnt quite a bit (see the picture) to the level I would think you shouldn't serve it anymore.

It is a city get-away right in the heart of Zürich. It is spacious so every table has its own privacy. Love the retro and industrial decoration which still makes you feel cozy indoor. Homemade cakes are a must. I had a apple cake, which is moisture and delicious. Absolutely recommend!

Beautiful! Tastefully decorated with different seating areas. Small outdoor seating area in a sun trap. Food took a little longer than expected but worth the wait. A little gem, highly recommend and staff couldn’t have been nicer.

Fancy cafe place at the entrance to the Zoo. It was great, quiet atmosphere just what we needed after the noisy zoo visit. The inside deco is also very relaxing and proper for the zoo theme. We will go there again.

Delicious food! The meat was really medium cooked as we asked, the starter was really nice and vine very good quality. I would say food was better then in Mishlen restaurant in France. BUT! The furniture and atmosphere is like in a motel cheep cafe or Zurich Mensa.... Hope that they will change it. Because cook is doing really good job!
