Very interesting place
Great coffee lovely hosts
We spent a really nice morning at this very interesting museum. We started with yummy scones jam and cream ...... wondered the museum ...... and finished with a freshly made toasty for our lunch. Great tea and coffee all at very little cost. Highly recommend.
What lovely home made scones and toasted sandwiches. And the proprietor was very hospitable and Interesting to talk to..that makes such a difference !! Very 😊 😃
A quaint museum and cafe, and a very interesting range of displayed items. The owners were charming and very welcoming. My husband LOVED the Devonshire Tea served in the little cafe.

Authentic well run small town take away.
Delicious lunch and friendly service. Sadly we didn't have time to visit the museum.
Great information, all managed by volunteers. Had a wonderful time, having a cuppa and chat.
Would recommend a stop if you're passing through.
Wonderful small-town museum! Banjo spent his early childhood on a property nearby and the museum has a great collection of related items, covering his life as well as the places and events that inspired his poetry. Alf is a fantastic host, great to yarn with, and he also runs the back room cafe - Devonshire tea with fresh scones was great. Spend an hour or so here, you’ll be glad you made the journey!
Volunteer hosts we're great. The collection is interesting, but dated. I felt a tinge of sadness that a great Australian is likely to fade into memory due to lack of public interest.
It was a life saver, I was travelling with two kids for the first time to Dubbo and didn't know there were no service stations except of this on the way..
Excellent food and service.
Great little station , with hot coffee , heaps of variety hot food.
I'll be back.

Passing through town recently... early morning, cold, still dark... then out of the corner of my eye I see the light from a bain marie! Great coffee and bacon and egg roll, friendly staff and locals... what a great place :-)
The best thing about this museum is Alf and Sharon the volunteers. They are friendly and entertaining. They are very knowledgeable.

Sharon makes the scones fresh every morning and they are awesome. They have real expresso coffee. Lots of the locals just come in for the cafe.

This museum fits a lot into a small space.
I am not a museum person, so didn't look at too much. They offered us head sets for an audio recording. If you wanted to look at everything you would be here for hours.

Good service, friendly. The PO, Cafe and some groceries available. Pleasant outdoor area to enjoy the coffee. Liked the eagle on bike or front, as one of the Animals on Bikes trail. All around this area in paddocks and through towns are sculptures of animals on bikes. A lot of app start driving but worth it, to admire these wonderful works made from found materials.

It wasn't that great. Sorry. It is a kinda shady town. I just wanted to eat some lunch and there was three fights outside. Three. One is too many but like that's all I need to say. But the food was decent.
Absolutely brilliant. Lovely to meet Alf and Sharon. Alf took the time to chat with us about some of the memorabilia. His wealth of local and historical knowledge along with his obvious passion for the subject was wonderful.
Impressive Museum. Loved the commentary and history from a time long ago and about our Aussie Icon Banjo Paterson. We also enjoyed the animal sculptures between Molong and Yeoval. Well worth the drive and visit to this historic little town.

A definite must see when travelling through. We visited the Banjo Paterson Museum which was informative with audio guides. Had a Banjo Paterson burger which was delicious and only 5.--, can't go wrong there. We also bought some locally made flour. What I'm trying to say, please support these small towns by spending time and money.
Well out for a bike ride I stop at the hotel across the road I ordered a burger and chip here from the takeaway the staff after making it brought it across the road to me as I sat out side the pub enjoying a cold drink. Big thank you to the staff at the internet cafe as the were very friendly and helpful

Such a wonderful stop in a quiet street!!! I asked for coffee and a veg sandwich and it was a brilliant breakfast!!! Casey is a warm cook with fingers that have magic. She told me she had never made a veg sandwich before! Must drive through if you are locally passing by.
