This cafe is probably underrated in my opinion. The coffee is really good and distinctive as they roast their own beans one of which is their signature popcorn caramel. The barister comes to your table and makes the latte art right in front of you! I didn't expect too much from the the irish coffee but it turned out to be amazing although it takes a while to prepare - they will let you smell the coffee beans first. Staff is friendly and attentive. Ambience is cozy, spacious and very comfortable. Also, upstairs is a cocktail bar that opens at 7pm but they would be happy to serve u cocktails downstairs at the cafe if you ask for them!
Not too busy, with a good number of customers for comfortable atmosphere. Service was quick. Coffee was served at table, waitress added the cream at the table and gave good suggestion for how to drink it.
- Food in overall is pretty good here with a lot of variety. But their service definitely needs improvement, because we got treated rudely upon arrival.

-3 of us just arrives and ready to go in, but one rude staff stopped us (before clarifying with us) and say:
“can’t you see it’s already full? Do you see any seat inside? You need to go out and queue outside!”
-Then, 2 of our friends inside called us and another staff was attending to us.
-No apologies no nothing, and act like nothing happened.
-Let me tell you this, even if you’re full house, you do not ever speak to your clients like this, we did nothing wrong in the first place, we are only entering the place.
-To the owner, please train your staff, and if you’re the owner we speak of, then do better.

Cafe has an industrial vibe and was cosy. We ordered the flaming brownie (RM25), burnt cheesecake (RM18), rose white coffee (RM14) and matcha coconut latte (RM22). Service was excellent and the staff came over to do the coffee art right in front of us.
We went to the cafe today after read the good reviews.
We have waited 30 minutes for the seat (it's Sunday) and understood. The service was ok, standard for cafe. The lady who take our reservation (taking Q number) is good.

Second time here! Really love their truffle series and croffle. Truffle spaghetti and egg benedict must try! Good environment also, suitable for gathering with friends and family!
had always frequented to multiple cafe under jwc over the years. usually only go for the coffee since it is their specialty. they serve lunch menu too.
got the (left) juicy summer (right) guava nitro each rm18.
personally not a coffee lover but my favourite out of the two was the juicy summer. you can definitely taste a hint of tea flavour from the foam and also coconut juice in the coffee. it's refreshing yet strong flavour. would recommend if you're into a more fruity taste. compared to the guava nitro, the taste of guava is lacking in the coffee - only a slight aftertaste of guava for the first few sips.
service is great as always, staff is warm and friendly. coffee newbie can get recommendations on what to try and for the coffee snob, they have a few coffee beans option and brew method. place is suitable for catching up with friends or solo date - group and solo table available with charging port. would love to visit again and try out the mains & dessert.

An interesting place! It’s a cafe at lvl 1, and bar at lvl 2. Both concepts were great and they have really unique cafe and bar drinks menu. Highly recommend! The service is great too as the service staff will come over to explain more on their signature drinks if you need any help! Didn’t try their cafe foods but looks yummy, will return to try next time!
Reached at 1.40pm on a Saturday afternoon. Waited 20min for a table.
Saw the reviews that truffle series is good. As we had lunch somewhere before, we just ordered some sides and drinks. I would say it's really not bad. Drinks was a little sweet for me though.
I'd probably won't wait any longer than 10min for their food again, not that worth the time.

A rustic industrial cafe place with large spaces for big groups dinning. Walnut dirty gives a unique taste with a traditional peanut bar. Hazelnut latte is crafted by the barista on the spot with a well blend of coffee and cream. Food wise is nominal. Overall, good experience.
Truffle related food was quite good, except some of the dishes have some weird combi of sauces, which some might not be used to. Quite affordable price.
4 stars mainly because we dont feel that the waitress know how to assign the seats well, ended up the customers got to wait extra.

Foods very nice and quite special compare to other cafe. Strongly recommend for the Root & Truffle Gems & Spicy Corn Ribs. Very Creative and Yummy! For Main Course Salmon Mash also get 5 star!
Other bowl rice here quite nice as well, this time I try karaage bowl which I din expect can be such juicy! I try rendang , cat bowl before also not bad!

Delicious nyonya kuih. Prices are reasonable.
I had been to this restaurant more than a few times, including ordering from grab food. The food is nicer when u eat in, but overall food is only decent at best. The atmosphere is clean and minimalistic, but their seats are not ergonomic enough.
Although their salmon laksa spaghetti's spiciness is inconsistent, it still tastes good. Their aromatic matcha latte is best ordered with less sugar and with oat milk.
With ordering for delivery and dine in, i tried their korean fried chicken, both spicy and original, but I would say they are a bunch of undercooked soggy mess, I did advised in the delivery app, they cooked it properly for a few times and after 2 weeks, back to normal, as I ordered again today to check, disappointing.
I would only recommend dining in and then moving on to other places after u tired it a few times, nothing especially impressive about this establishment.

Good to have breakfast with family members here , signature coffee here taste good... recommended to bring family to enjoy breakfast with Nyonya kuih here..

Dishes save in big portions, taste delicious with reasonable prices.
Laksa pasta was pretty good. The mentaiko pasta was average. The (green looking) basílico pasta was honestly quite bad; the sauce had a very strong veggie taste, the squid was soft and not chewy and the salmon was a bit dry. Coffee was good though and the barista even explains the tasting notes, which was a nice touch.
Yummy economy noodles really affordable price too! Aunty very friendly ✨
Delicious food, average service, and environment. It is quite crowded, especially in the lunch hour. May have difficulty looking for a seat during peak hour. Price is on the high side, but still acceptable for its delicious taste.

The portion was huge and they’re never stingy with the ingredients. Always a good time here. I hope they will continue to serve the best like they always do :)
Delicious foods and friendly seller
The cafe, located approximately a 30-minute drive from the Malaysian customs checkpoint, is definitely worth the journey. The food, especially the mee goreng and nasi lemak, was delightful. Despite our limited proficiency in Malay, the staff were welcoming and friendly. If we find ourselves in the vicinity again, we'll definitely pay another visit.
I don’t know how good the taste is, but the service is terrible. Sitting for 15min no one approach, when asked to order, the waitress just grab the order list rudely. Don’t come to this cafe if u care about service at all. How can a simple first step approach to take order become so difficult in here, like the staffs just don’t want to take your order. Like the staffs here never open their mouth to talk to customer.

The food are very nice especially the sambal very special and nice! The atmosphere and decor inside the kopitiam also very cozy, thr food are in big portion and the price are not high!
went twice (breakfast & lunch) the past week, and all the food ordered was good with big portions too. the price is its biggest competitive point as its relatively cheap. air conditioned and clean, the staff are attentive too.
the portion for mains tried (nasi grg seafood and smoked duck carbonara) had A LOT of lauk, almost to the point where we couldnt finish so its definitely worth it.
not quite sure why there are not so pleasant reviews but so far my experience dining has been positive, and the friends/family i brought here agreed as well.
some mentioned that the ambiance of the place is quite noisy which i do agree, but imo its not smth the staff/owners can control 😂 i come here for the food and the service

Toast and coffee are good. The prawn noodles (Hokkien mee) could be better. Need to wait a bit as service and food are slower than average.

Resume f&b business since mid of November 2022, menu price remain unchanged but portion slightly reduce, but they have option for bigger portion. Quality of food remain the standard, must try their local cuisine such as Nasi Lemak, mee siam, lontong, their nyonya kuih are also famous in town too

Cheesy wedges is fantastic, quite a lot compared to other places, generous amount of cheese sauce. 3 pieces of otak-otak, it is up to expectation!
Second day, came here on Sunday around 1:30pm. Most of the food is out. Personally, Singapore fried prawn noodle is a bit salty. Signature sepuluh fried rice served a bit late. The fried chicken that is served with the fried rice is a bit hard. Bottom layer of 3 layered milk tea is gula melaka not wheatgrass which is amazing!!
About price, I would say it is appropriate and worth it. Moderate price.

Love the vintage design and the Nanyang food. Coffee is nice, foods are big portion and value for money. Recommended mee siam with fried chicken or otak otak. Mee mamak is so so only. Advise all the member using proper communication way, one of the lady make the high frequency voice to call out the member, spoiled all the ambient suddenly...

For fried rice: The chicken was boneless making us more convenient to eat, tasty, and juicy. The egg was perfect.
I’ve also tried Mongolian chicken which similar to salted egg flavour I guess. Honestly this is one of the best salted egg I’ve experienced so far.

I ordered lontong and curry noodle. The lontong taste very good. Not too thick, not too creamy but still full of flavor. There's pieces of anchovies sprinkle on top and that really help complement the dish by adding salty taste & chewy texture. Honestly this is one of the best lontong i ever had. It comes with anchovies sambal.
The curry noodle is spicy. Alot more spicy than i expected or ever had before. A fair warning to those who wanna try. Still taste very good with abundant chicken, lo bak, fish cakes and fish ball. It's a large portion meal, worth the price.

Location is Convenient for office staff who are working at southkey area with short walking distance.
