Had our wedding vow renewal party at Couch and can't praise Lottie and the team highly enough, everyone had a fantastic evening and Lottie was with us every step of the way from planning to the end of the party.
The venue was perfect for our needs and the pizza buffet was a hit with all the guests.
If anyone is reading reviews for this place with the intentions of booking a party don't look anywhere else!!!!

We had our wedding reception at Couch and couldn't be happier with everything Couch has to offer. Lottie, the events manager, was amazing from start to finish and we are so grateful for everything she did for us. The venue itself is so beautiful and cosy. The food is absolutely incredible!! Everyone commented on how much they loved having a different sort of venue that was so reasonably priced. Thanks again Lottie for everything! We had the best day ever and couldn't have done without you!

We had my Mum’s 50th at Couch and from start to finish Lottie could not have been more helpful! She helped with DJ’s, decorations, special requests and anything else to make sure we had the best night.

The room was amazing and had multiple compliments, and the girls behind the bar were brilliant during busy periods.

All in all amazing night had by all, will definately be using Lottie and Couch for parties in the future 😊

We had our 50th birthday party here on Saturday. It really is a fantastic venue. Lottie and team couldn't do enough for us. They went above and beyond, in every aspect. All our guests said how lovely the venue was. Excellent value for money with great drinks packages. Highly recommend it. Thanks Lottie

I recently had a party at Couch and Lottie and her team made it the most perfect evening. From the first time I spoke to Lottie nothing was too much trouble and she made suggestions that made the night even more special with a number of personal touches.

The food was delicious, the atmosphere was brilliant and the whole venue was perfect and looked lovely. And the staff couldn’t do enough for us.
I would have a party here every week if I could! We had so many comments about what a great evening it was and what a lovely venue. Thanks again to Lottie and the team for the best time.

Second time here today, the vibe here is lovely and the comfy seating is really good for breastfeeding mums. The food is delicious and the staff are always lovely. My only comment is it's a bit pricey, and I wish the hot drinks were bigger and hotter 😊 but I'm always happy to come here to meet friends. Pic of the delicious vegan granola yogurt bowl I had today, was beautiful! With edible flowers x

We have recently had our wedding party at Couch, the venue is unique and offers such a wonderful atmosphere. Lottie and her team stop at nothing to make your night special and nothing is too much for them.

The venue is great for parties and any occasion, the offers they have are great and they offer great value for money. The food they put on for our guests was tasty and high quality, all our guests (120 of them) all commented on the great venue and food.

We are looking to have another party at the venue in the future.

The food was really nice, and so was the server - he was really friendly! Awesome little cafe on division street. Portion size was a little let down - not worth the £11.95

Very aesthetic coffee place. The food was very enjoyable but faced a few issues.

Me and some friends went around 11-12 which I dont recommend. It was incredibly busy and took a very long time to recieve food and drinks and even order . Also took a very long time to pay , sat with the bill for about 15-20 minutes. Staff were understanding though which made up for it . You also cant really change ur meal up much you can only take some items off or pay a bigger price to add some on .

I dont reccomend for a quick lunch stop but it you dont mind the wait it’s perfect for a nice sit down . for 3 drinks and 3 meals it came to around £45 so more on the expensive side definitely but still a lovely coffee place .
Sheffield is a city bursting with incredible places to eat. There is a diverse cast of options with cuisines from around the globe. In such an environment, you might expect a classic English brunch kitchen to find it hard to stand out. As my rating might suggest, the Copper Pot blows that expectation out of the water.

For food, the Copper Pot hosts an excellent menu of brunch classics. Of course, it's not a gourmet experience but that was never the point. Hearty, warm food that lifts your spirits is what you'll find here. My personal recommendations are the full English breakfast and one of their fruity smoothies.

The Copper Pot's food is fantastic, but the service is somehow even better. The phrase "northern hospitality" doesn't even begin to describe the kind and personal service offered by staff at the Copper Pot. On one of my visits, the kitchen was unexpectedly delayed and meals were slow to arrive. The staff were very upfront about this when we came in, warning is of longer than usual wait times and we even had our bill discounted for the wait. The staff are consistently friendly and helpful with anything you might need.

Finally, the atmosphere in the Copper Pot is just lovely. There is always a jovial, homely feeling that creates a sense of comfort in the space. My only gripe would be that things can get cold if you're sat near the door on colder days, but then again that's just Sheffield for you.

Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend the Copper Pot as one of the nicest places to get breakfast or lunch in Sheffield. You'll be hard pressed to find better service anywhere in the city and the food will never disappoint. Absolutely 5 stars.
My fav coffeeshop in town, mainly because of its friendly and warm staff.
You can always have a calm corner in the bustling atmosphere at Tamper.
Beautiful brunch place, it can be crowded at lunch. We had to queue up a little bit but not too long to wait. There’re seating areas indoors and outdoors, so you can choose. The food was fabulous. I had something like crab meat on sourdough, and beetroot tacos. Couldn’t remember the exact name, but both were fantastic.

The waffles were okay but latte was good. It is a cute place to chill out with relaxed seats. I like the vibe here. However on the the day I visited, there were few flies around my waffles, I had to use hand waving to keep them away. Then I found other few in toilet, which completely put me off.

Went over for lunch! It was quite packed, but we got seated really fast. Didn't have to wait more than 4 minutes.

The quality of the food was amazing, as was the presentation. The staff was absolutely lovely and always ready to help in any way.

I'd definitely recommend going here! The decorations and aesthetics of the place really added to the atmosphere and the overall experience :D

I have tried cold and hot coffee both were great, they have plant based milk option.
The “no mars brownie” is great for chocolate lovers but heavy and sweet and needs coffee with it. “The lemon cheese sandwich“ is light and fresh. I loved the seating options they have variety of them whether you need to work, chill or socialize also good service and they get busy on the weekends

Super cosy (and clean) environment in terms of seating, however, it did start to get quite cold towards the end of our visit.

Food and drinks were brought out quickly although a few errors were made with our drinks. These were swiftly corrected by staff, who were in no way dismissive and appeared very apologetic.

Overall this was a great first experience and I will be visiting again. :)

Had a really nice lunch here. Unfortunately they were quite busy when I went so the food took a while and my coffee was forgotten, but the staff are really friendly and it’s a chill space with lots of plants and interesting tables. It’s a great spot if you’re wanting a relaxing work space with good food and coffee.

The courtyard area had all kinds of people from all walks of life filtering in and out, always a sign of quality.

My flat white was robust with the right level of bitterness coming through. My mother had high praise for her little vegetable sandwich.

And received some fascinating insight into V>VE>VG from the owner

☕🥐🥪 @steamyard 🥪🥐☕

I first discovered Steam Yard when it first opened living nearby as a student. It opened 10 years ago in an old silverworks yard off of Division Street and has been going strong ever since.

It has a super laid back and comfortable vibe, a great outdoor area in the yard, and serves up great sarnies cakes and pastries.
The coffee is super good here too.

We tried their brie and chilli jam toasties which were spot on, but choices for lunch were very limited, just sandwiches from the counter. We also tried an almond crossiant and a raspberry cronut. These were good, very nice but perhaps not the best we've ever had, but still definitely with buying.

Overall the atmosphere and coffee is what won us over here rather than the food offering.

A lovely place to catch up with a friend or spend an hour getting some work done with a laptop.

Amazing brunch, so delicious and great portion sizes too. Loved the vibe of this place and the staff were friendly too. We sat outside, they have a great outdoor space. They get very busy so make sure to book ahead!
Delicious food, great ambience, and attentive staff. The best decaffeinated coffee I have EVER tasted. I will return every time I'm in the UK

Food is nice but quite pricey. Delicious coffee! Had a bit of an issue trying to split the bill - maybe consider a new payment gateway? In general we had a lovely time - really nice building and well furnished.
One of the best brunch spots in the UK, not just Sheffield. Elite service, coffee and food. No wonder it's as popular as it is. Definitely book in advance. Great for all dietary requirements too.

Whenever I go to Sheffield, I always make sure to grab a coffee from Steamyard. Great seletion of coffee and cakes and some very tasty savoury opions as well. Coffee is from Caravan and brewed very well, batch brew and guest espresso are always super delicious. Definitely recommend if you are in Sheffield! The outside seating is lovely and sun trap if you get it on the right day!

I totally loved this place. Nice decoration and vibes, also background music. Their avocado toast was probably one of the best I’ve ever had. Also I worked from there and the wifi was very good, sadly they close at 16:30. Would definitely go again when Im back to Sheffield.

Called to the Steam Yard again after a lovely visit with my friend a few months ago. The decor inside is ready for a freshen up, and unfortunately, it looked a bit grubby in places. Apart from this the service and food were really good. The three cheese toasties are gorgeous.

I always recommend HYGGE to anyone visiting Sheffield it’s such a unique spot! It has such a nice atmosphere, lovely staff that make you feel so welcome and you’re welcome to work from here- most of my uni assignments were done being here. Loads of different drink options, milk alternatives available and they usually have specials on too! The white choc and raspberry flapjack is my fave from the counter :) special shout out to Jess too she’s always so lovely and nothing is ever too much!

5.50 for a milkshake that wasn't bigger than the length of my middle finger. Decent vibe but I hate the taste of being mugged off. That's far too expensive for what it is

One of the worst lattes I've ever tried. You can tell from the colour that this isn't like a usual latte. It was extremely burnt and the size is small for £3.40. Wouldn't recommend unless you enjoy burnt coffee.

Been going to Copper Pot fairly regularly since moving to Shef and I can say they really take my top spot for favourite Full English :)
Very tasty, esp the beans and toast which I can never replicate at home 😅 Coffee is lovely, whether hot or iced. Friendly staff.
Only thing is the inside seating is a bit stuffy for me, so their outdoor area has been my preference but that’s weather dependent. Can’t fault anything else and will definitely keep coming back

We just got the fruit fusion and berry burst smoothies as well as some avocado toast to take away. Everything was decent enough and staff were friendly, the avocado toast was fine but not spectacular and the smoothies tasted fresh. We would come in again :)
Great coffee shop, wonderful staff. Had coffee and an amazing wrap, the berry smoothie was ‘the best I’ve ever had’. Venue pleasantly full.

One thing annoyed me was there were several customers on laptops (nothing wrong with that) but must have finished their drinks hours ago and were clearly taking up space that could have been used.

This place has great reviews so we decided to try. When we arrived we were told we have to wait for an hour as the place is full. Don’t be fazed as it’s not that long. We grabbed a coffee and was seated when the coffee arrived. We ordered scrambled tofu and chilli crab. Was not as impressed by them and we weren’t full. Added on sweet potato fries which was great! Could tell it’s fresh and not frozen. Wasn’t sure why people said the coffee is to die for, though it was too bitter.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting this charming coffee shop in the heart of the city, and I can honestly say that it was one of the best coffee shop experiences I've ever had. From the moment I stepped inside, I was struck by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The decor was tasteful and inviting, with plenty of comfortable seating options to choose from.
The service was outstanding - the baristas were friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about their craft. They took the time to answer my questions and make recommendations based on my preferences, and they were always happy to chat and make me feel at home.
And let's talk about the coffee itself - it was simply delicious! The beans were clearly of the highest quality, and the baristas' skill in preparing the drinks was evident in every sip. I tried a few different drinks during my visit, and each one was expertly crafted and absolutely delicious.
But what really sets this coffee shop apart is the cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Despite being located in the bustling city center, it somehow manages to feel like a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle outside. I could have happily spent hours there, sipping my coffee and enjoying the ambiance.
Overall, I would highly recommend this coffee shop to anyone looking for a cozy, welcoming, and delicious coffee experience in the heart of the city. It truly deserves five stars!

Went for a coffee and a quick bite with a friend. The batista was a lovely, incredibly friendly and pleasant, and the cheese and ham croissant was delicious. I got an iced mocha which was the worst one I've ever had. The hot chocolate powder was so thick and undissolved that it clogged up the straw, then it all settled at the bottom as a solid block of powder. Even if I mixed it, the lumps of powder in the latte were so large that the texture was really unpleasant. Ended up drinking the separated milky coffee and throwing the rest away. Would visit again for the great food and calm atmosphere but I definitely don't recommend the coffee.

I always make a stop at steam yard when I’m in town, the best cakes and pastries! Really lovely courtyard to sit in if the sun is shining, tables inside do get very busy over lunch times and weekends but it’s understandable! Great vegan options and wonderful coffee. Great #location, ample parking space outside, a bit expensive to park FYI.
The *staff was helpful and guiding on arrival. Loved the rustic yet ambient interior.
Took a seat, table wasn't cleaned but not being fussy about it.
#Food ordered at the counter. Its good to have a prepaid service so you don't have to wait on the cheque before leaving.
Food arrived quite quickly as well.
#Coffee was great ! Good temperature and good taste !
#Veggie breakfast was huge and everything was delicious! The beans were the star of that meal ! Sooo good ! Wanted to know the recipe but shied away and didn't ask ;p
Cleaned the table before leaving so the next person doesn't have same experience.
5 star food !

Great coffee + baked goods! Perfect for on-the-go breakfast, or afternoon pick-me-up, or weekend relaxation. Slightly limited seating space, but definitely worth a visit (even for takeaway)! You got to try some of the very inviting pastry, my fave so far is the almond croissant! (extra points for good service and for looking over lost/forgotten items, thanks to the lovely staff who stored my bag for me)

Everyone from staff to owner makes you feel like home, very professional, attentive, quick service and great value for price. Delicious brunch, cakes, coffees and breakfast. We are definitely obsessed with the ice chai late, but every time we tried something new we totally enjoyed it. On the top of that the place closes quite late, which works great for us.
I've been here over 50 times because this is in my top two places to come and get coffee in Sheffield. The coffee is delicious and the atmosphere is always very cosy, the staff are always great. The only bad things are that the prices are going up and up and sometimes it's very hard to find a seat (although that's probably a good sign!)
