One man shop and delicious cornettas that can be filled with your choice of filling. Best value for location. Oh and delicious coffee too!
I love La Light Patisseria. When I visit Barcelona I always come here to get the best croissants or perfect cheesecake with delicious coffee.

Tried several filled croissants and cannoli. The puff pastry is margerine based, and the heavy handed filling seems tasted like cheap, palm oil laden and super sweet Nutella type substance. I couldn't even figure out what the substance inside the canollis was. Did it tried to be custard? Crème Pâtissière? Ricotta? Didn't really taste like any of the above, but did have unpleasantly starchy gooey texture, and again overloaded on sugar.
I read some comments about bad service in house. I bought medialunas to go, and they were amazing. Long time I haven’t had that quality in Argentina. Loved it

Oh man….you have to seek this place out. Tucked on a side street in Born, this oasis of sweets surprised me. I’d passed by it many times when closed, but luckily was around while it was open I only got a cinnamon bun & a choco cookie, but they were amazing! And the service was incredibly friendly and helpful. I’ll be back soon for coffee and more!
The owner was so incredibly kind and lovely. Recommended us the plain chocolate chip and it did not disappoint. Lots of options for vegan and a few gluten free. Ultimately a must try in Barcelona

Kleiner unscheinbarer Laden, der aber wahre Schätze hat! Die Verkäuferin ist eine junge Dame, die alles von Hand selbst macht, einem alles geduldig erklärt und mit Herz bei der Sache ist. Die Cookies und Zimtschnecken waren so unfassbar lecker. Man verlässt das Café definitiv mit einem Lächeln auf dem Gesicht. Herzensempfehlung!

Decepción absoluta con el roscón de reyes. Además de subir el precio 2€ respecto al año pasado, han empeorado mucho la calidad, han escatimado con el mazapán, que apenas había y han reducido los trozos de fruta. Me he sentido avergonzada de llevar este roscón a casa de mi familia, parecía de panadería barata, aunque cobren como si fuera de La Colmena.

Best cookie/cinnamon roll/ cheese cake/ brownie maker around. I just tried the new red velvet cookie and it is a fantasy. Everything is freshly baked. Delicious and better when knowing you are supporting local production by a young entrepreneur woman.

I can't recommend it enough! Amazing Italian pastries, lovely cakes made by order. I went in asking for a small celebration cake and the owner was so kind and helpful suggesting this delicious chocolate & pistachio cake. Best patisserie of the barrio. Unmissable!

Normalmente los productos que ofrecen son muy buenos , pero......" puntualmente "puedes quedar decepcionado con tu compra pues la calidad es claramente mejorable, seguramente por el tiempo pasado entre el manipulado y la venta u otra razón que ellos deben controlar. La relación calidad-precio no es buena.

What an amazing family-owned business that had been passed down from one generation to the next, aiming to keep their traditions alive, serving the community with great quality products.
We did the tour to make the Monas de Pasqua, and we felt so welcomed and encouraged to try and immerse ourselves in pastry-making.
Everything is well organized, clean, and it was amazing to learn about how they overcame the obstacles created by covid-19.
I highly recommend it!

40 años comprando todos los pasteles de cumpleaños de toda la familia, de amigos, etc. Pero desde hace unos 2 años la calidad ya no es ni la sombra de lo que fue. Pasteles más finos, sin apenas rellenos y apelmazados. La yema cremada que no sabe a nada y el relleno de chocolate inexistente. No se parecen en nada a los sabrosos y únicos pasteles de Sanz. Una pena, para mí, la última vez que compro en esta pastelería.
Que lastima!!! Que te den algo fresco en esta panadería es una lotería! Soy vecina y suelo comprar aquí, ya no más!!! Hay mejores panaderías que sirven siempre bollería fresca!!!!
A ver… los productos más costosos están muy bien, pero a mi particularmente el croissant me pareció muy grasoso. Creo que hay mejores. Hay muy buena variedad y la atención es excelente, pero para productos básicos elegiría otra opción.
By far, the best argentine bakery in Barcelona. The croissants are really good, although some pastries, if you were in Argentina, you know they can be better. Definitely the empanadas are not their specialty.
On the other side, if you can try some sandwichs, their pepas or pastafrola, you won't regret it.
Regarding the service, most of the waiters are cool, though if you visit them late, they probably are exhausted.

Outstanding coffee and delicious croissants. The place is quite small and a bit warm, but the coffee is top notch. I had the Ferrero Roche croissant, really delicious, soft and flakey dipped and pumped full of Ferrero Roche. Would recommend.
L´Únic pà de veritat (dels bons ) és el que anomenen "de l'Empordà" . Els croissants de xocolata , fa uns mesos que ja no li posen xocolata com abans , sinó "crema de xocolata" d'aquella (...) bastant dolenta Per això ja no compro més croissants .
Nice staff, very good food. You can see that the place is full of locals by the amount of people there at all times. Definitely try empanadas, especially with hamon or chicken.

Tengo que ser justo después de publicar una reseña mala ,hoy tengo que decir que ayer compramos las cocas de San Juan y estaban muy muy buenas ,deliciosas.
Muy mal hoy he comprado dos barras de pan dos baguettes vaya misterio hay días que está bueno y otros que no hay quien lo coma venden panias congeladas x baguettes una vergüenza hay que ser profesional y si no vendes el pan del día anterior no lo pongas a la venta es realmente asqueroso hoy para mí se cierra esta !panadería! prefiero no comer pan a esta guarrada y ahora me respondes que no. es congelado del día anterior 🤮🤮🤮
Best place to have Italian desserts. I have tried Buba, cheese cake with chocolate chips & Cannoli only 1 word to describe them "yummy". Must visit!! Generally the items will sell out fast so better to visit before evening.

The best Argentine bakery 🇦🇷 in Barcelona. Great staff. We tried empanadas, invoices, croissants with jam and cheese and crumb sandwiches 🤤 The same flavor as you in Argentina. Thank you for bringing my country here 🇦🇷

I saw that it’s from Palma and they had ensaimadas. I was excited and got one. If you show this ensaimada to anyone in Palma as the authentic product, they will beat you like hell. It was a dry overdue pastry with powder sugar on top...

Yo desde que conocí esta pastisseria no la cambio por otra, si quiero comprar un detalle por Sant Jordi, en Reyes nunca me deja mal por la calidad. Y siempre me han atendido de maravilla todas las chicas, incluso un día se había acabado una tarta de frutas y me la hicieron al momento.
Siempre compro mi pan diario, bolleria y pasteles, me encanta todo lo que tienen. Son muy amables, atentos y profesionales.
Es una pena que una buena panadería como esta, tenga a una trabajadora que falte al respeto a los clientes. Cuando se trabaja de cara al público hay que saber mantener las formas, ser profesional e informar de la manera correcta cuando un cliente tiene una duda. Escuchar y hablar con educación dice mucho más del local que los productos, el cliente va por el producto, pero vuelve por el trato. ES UNA LÁSTIMA...

Ir en domingo... mala idea... por lo que he notado las pastas del día anterior son almacenadas o congeladas, sacadas pasadas un poquito por el horno y pintaditas para que tengan "buena pinta".
Pides un crusan y te intentan encolomar uno tostadisimo, le dices antes de que lo coja uno blanquito y te pone msla cara.. claro les interesa más primero vender los que han "apañado" todo esto lo conozco bien por que se reconocerlos por que me toco en un antiguo trabajo algo así...
Total el resultado es que aún que no fuese el mas tostado... el crudan esta malísimo. Como encorchado, sin gusto mas que el pringue de arriba. Y una actitud malisima y borde de las panaderas o dependientes.

Delicious chocolate treats
Obviamente, el cliente, ya lo tienen perdido, creyeron hacer la venta, pero ni eso..., ahí está la prueba. Leen Joan debajo de felicidades?? Joan no se debió presentar a recoger el pastel que debió encargar, esa foto corresponde al pastel que posteriormente quisieron vender a otro cliente, a nosotros. Ya no es que sea falta de educación, de vergüenza y profesionalidad, sinó una falta grave de higiene y normas de asepsia, cuanto tiempo llevaba el pastel esperando? horas, del día anterior? de la semana anterior? es producto perecedero señores!! y quien me dice que ese pastel no salió del establecimiento y fue devuelto posteriormente por el tal "Joan"? Las dependientas del domingo 17 de marzo por la mañana ya se hicieron un gesto, un guiño de complicidad.., posteriormente , ya en casa nos dimos cuenta a que correspondía..., pero no solo eso, al parecer el dueño se jactó preguntando por teléfono ante nuestras quejas : "pero que? al menos estaba bueno?", le devolvería la pregunta, pero imagino, que a buen seguro ese pastel no se lo comió el dueño, sinó que se lo debieron endosar a otros clientes, una vez devuelto, una vez que ha salido del establecimiento y se ha roto la cadena del frío. Por su bien ,háganme caso, no compren en este establecimiento, por experiencia propia, no tienen modales, ni respetan normas en manipulación de producto, no son de fiar....

Fantastic family bakery specialising in chocolate, definitely worth a visit, one of the last authentic family patisseries left in Barcelona.
Greta ice cream, I had the youhgurt-fruity and the Oreo ice cream was a perfect after meal treat, the total ambiance with the lighting and radio with cheerful songs gave a brilliant vibe, I will definitely be coming back here! The young staff were delight to talk to and this place had brilliant high quality home-made ice cream!
Amazing coffee and pastries to match, we tried a few coffee shops and there are some really good ones but this one stood above the others as the best coffee in the area. Also the staff is extremely friendly as the chatted with our young son.

One of the best "polvorones" I have ever had in Barcelona! Great environment and location (near Sagrada familia), very friendly staff. We also tried their cakes, croissants and "Tortell de Reis", DELICIOUS! Overall I would definitely be back again for our Christmas break and love supporting a business with such nice people.
