I brought my wife here for a date night just to get out. It is now her favorite place to eat with super simple parking across the street. And unordinary but extraordinary cuisine.!!! My wife had the pear and prosciutto pizza and said best pizza she has ever had!!!

Enjoyed the atmosphere- it was sexy and vibrant. Lots of people at the bar in the restaurant. Service was top flight and stellar bartenders very receptive open and welcoming….very customer service driven. One thing I really liked is they had tasted the food so they were able to tell you what some of their favorite things were. How often do you go to restaurant and the person serving you has never tasted the food!? LBVS. I ordered the black spaghetti and my sister had the burger. The burger was slightly overcooked, but the meat was spot on quality and still VERY juicy. The truffle fries were very good while they were hot. My black spaghetti was good but lack seasoning it had tons of crab in it and a nice little spice at the end. I added salt and it tasted much better. They did also bring me butter and extra sauce. They have the absolute best club soda, water in town. It tasted clean and pure with just the right amount of bubbles. The focaccia bread was the best focaccia bread I’ve ever eaten. It was made in house. I am told by the servers. Honestly, everyone had a great smile. The service was stellar. The food was not as great, more like a 4 star BUT Bistro deserves five stars because this place is doing the right thing by customers with the EXPERIENCE! Anika and Lauren were our servers- so make sure you ask for them and tell them I said they are amazing and thank you!

Overall just a great experience, plenty of parking, lovely atmosphere, excellent service and delicious food. I highly recommend the Salmon. It was delicious. I wish I would have ordered some kind of bread to clean the leftover sauce on my plate. Our server Sarah was awesome. Definitely will be back for lunch

Underwhelming. The meatballs need Ricotta. When you serve someone a salmon they don't want salmon chunks in their vegetables. Filet was "ok" for the price point . We won't be coming back. Service was great from start to finish.
Stopped here on a late Tuesday afternoon. Ordered the cauliflower and broccoli appetizer, and it was great. It literally melts in your mouth. Had the chicken wrap and the ravioli (which was good as well), but the pizza (Rustica) completely stole the show. It was probably some the best pizza I've ever had. To follow that up, we ordered the black cherry soda. It was different and delicious. I will definitely be visiting again.

They sat us at the most perfect table for my Fiancés birthday. Our server Shelly was amazing and so personable! We shared the Fillet Mignon and fettuccine Alfredo. Both dishes were phenomenal and their flavor profiles were spot on! They gave us a free dessert to celebrate the birthday as well. Definitely coming back!

Great service for our large group 👍🏾
Ambiance is lovely !
Meat balls are delicious, cocktail was good, black spaghetti was wonderful, deserts were sweet ! Risotto can be better.
Over all good experience. Parking can be little tight during weekends.

I’m not a massive fan of Italian food, but their rigatoni bolognese is one of the best I’ve ever had. My wife ordered the ravioli, which was also superb.

People on our table also ordered risotto.

Overall, a great dining experience.

On a busy Saturday night, this was the only place that had a last minute spot for us, and boy, were we happy they did! We were even quite a bit late because we couldn't find parking, and when I called, they assured me that they would hold the spot for us no problem. We really appreciated that.

My partner and I had never been, and the mushroom risotto and drinks were absolutely fabulous!!! Atmosphere is quiet and dimly lit, perfect for a little date night. Molly - the owner - was very attentive to us and talked to us like friends. We had great conversation. Can't wait to come back!

Wonderful night with friends at Bar Divani called ahead, and they followed instructions to a T.

Delicious food 🤤🤤 Appetizer mushroom risotto, soup butternut squash, and lasagna for the main course.

Delicious upbeat, good vibes.

We had no idea this place was here. The atmosphere here is on point! The staff is friendly and the food was very good. I would say the menu was a bit lite though. I would prefer a larger selection. Like I said, the food was delicious, but it won't be a place i frequent. That being said, I recommend coming here. Also, our meal was very affordable.

Met my sister here for drinks and apps before an event - first time here! Love the ambiance and the vibe - super chill and laid back. Love that they have a lounge area, too. Pretty low key for a Tuesday night so we had lots of seating options. QR code menus. I chose a chardonnay that I had not had before and my sister got an Aperol spritz. I instantly fell in love with the chard - it was delicious. The glass price was very reasonable and I was even more excited to see they sold it by the bottle and the bottle was super cheap - so i grabbed 3 to bring home. Second round of cocktails was the same chardonnay and a mule. She enjoyed both cocktails. We had the bruschetta - servers recommendation - it was BOMB! Each crostini was loaded with bruschetta! Lots of delish flavors - garlic and the balsamic were so good. Cajun crab dip was good, not as many chunks of crab as we had hoped, but still very creamy and flavorful. Our server even offered more toast for the dip, so we happily took that home to enjoy later.
All in all, great experience with great service. Definitely will be back - already made plans to return on a Thursday when martinis are half off :) They run other great daily specials, too - Tuesdays are free wine tasting!

Always great cheese and wine options, helpful and knowledgeable staff. We’re regular customers and will continue to come back.

Tried a charcuterie plate to go this week and what a treat at a very reasonable price!

Went on a Saturday evening with friends. Being from Kansas City, we couldn't wait. Decent experience but felt very overpriced for the service and the quality. The apps were pretty sub-par. Will not return. The music was so loud we couldn't talk. $15 cover charge as well, no sign, nothing about that. I think the place would have been busier on a Saturday night if they weren't so expensive.
I stumbled upon this place. It is a really nice atmosphere if you like jazz. The owners were very nice. I do plan on going there again. They are a wine bar and do have food, which I didn't order, so I don't have recommendations when it comes to food.

As said in other reviews (which I wish I would’ve read prior to going), the $15 per person hidden cover charge was not communicated or written anywhere until we went to cash out and my card declined.

We were there for MAYBE 20 minutes (would’ve been less had we had anyone check on our table more than once), so having a $30 cover charge exceed our $20 drinks did not leave a good impression.

Our server apologized and commented that “it happens a lot.” There should definitely be signs or something posted if nobody remembers to communicate this.

Great food! Great wine variety! Loved the music and atmosphere. I even wanted to buy a t-shirt, but they didn’t have my size. The owner mailed it to me personally after new inventory came in even states away!

Cons: $15 cover charge per person and there was no signage/we were not informed by staff, it just showed up on the bill.
Pros: beautiful and clean environment. Friendly staff.

Overall we likely will not return because of the cover charge/not being informed of a cover charge. Prices are a little steep -but comparable to other wine bars in the area. The cover charge put it over the top for us. Over $50 for the equivalent of two glasses and a split dessert bc of the hidden charge. I tried to get the attention of staff to ask about the charge, but I feel like they were avoiding eye contact like this is a common problem -or it could be they were busy and didn’t notice me trying to get their attention. It’s a nice place -but a little pricey and I did NOT like the hidden up charge. There was live music, but I’ve never been to a jazz bar/club where there’s been a cover charge -including bigger cities like Chicago. We would’ve gone elsewhere had we known.

This restaurant is amazing!! Our favourite in the city hands down !! We go there every year for my birthday now is become a tradition 🎉 they are so friendly from the minute you walk until you leave, we are never disappointed. The vibe is cozy, the chairs are so comfortable and we love the candle light ambiance. Now the FOOD is amazing 😍 the quality of the ingredients are top notch and everything we have tried has tasted amazing. This year we tried the pork shank and the divani burger and wow !! If you are looking for a great place to celebrate yourself or just a really good dinner experience you need to check out this restaurant. The price really isn't that bad considering how amazing the food is and we love supporting a local business!! Looking forward to going back again and again !!

Cool spot right downtown Grand Rapids. Upon initially being seated, the gentleman was a little rude. We were granted a little late for our reservation, which I called ahead about and was told it wasn’t an issue, and he kept pressing the fact that there was a 7:15 reservation. We were under the impression that you could request more time (as their website states) with your server if need be. We ended up splitting a bottle of wine between the table and taking off. Wine was great (they had a HUGE wine list available! Reds, rosé, whites, they had it!) and our actual server was amazing, we just felt like an inconvenience at that point. We will however like to give it another try in the future

Whenever one of my girlfriend suggests wine flights or grabbing a nice bottle of wine - I suggest here. I LOVE this place! The events they put on are great (just did a candle making class with Aroma Labs which is also in Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo)
They have a gourmet grilled cheese that is wonderfully seasoned with Rosemary.
The service has always been top notch.

I brought my group of girlfriends to House of Wine for a tasting with food pairing. Everything about the experience was amazing. Ashley guided us through the tasting process. She was so professional, knowledgeable and patient! Everything tasted wonderful. Congratulations to the owner, Emily Lynch who helped me plan this event. I highly recommend House of Wine for any type of social gathering.

Bar Divani hosted our elopement reception a few weeks ago, and it was a 12/10 experience from start to finish. They were really quick with communication leading up to the day which I greatly appreciate! The food & drinks were INCREDIBLE, and the service was amazing. I really loved the ambiance of the space too. Highly recommend whether you're considering hosting an event here, or just stopping in for dinner. Thanks Wendy for all your help!
Upon entrance there was no one at the door 🚪 so I began looking for a seat.

A taller man came up to me, asking how many. Just one I said and he told me to sit at the bar.

I had come to sit, drink wine, think and write and wanted a table in a corner. Not allowed if you don't have a party to fill the table apparently.

I ordered my flight but the live jazz is playing and it's hard to hear the man.

The flight arrives and the man explains the wines and where they are from, but I can't hear him, due to the music.

The wines were good and full of flavor. It would have been nice to have more information about them before drinking them but there wasn't. The wine itself I would order again, it was very good.

The space is on the small side and for a 3-4 piece band the sound is blaring.

Half way through my two hour stay I ordered the brisket sliders (pictured). They come out and they are not very hot, merely a little warm.

They were average. The meat didn't have any distinct flavor, the bbq sauce was soft in flavor, and the texture of the meat left something to be desired. Most of my slices were 80% fat 10% burnt (not flavored burnt) and 10% meat. I don't plan on ordering them again -- at $13 for them I had higher expectations.

At the end of the night I got my check and discovered there is a $10 jazz fee. I never saw that posted online anywhere or any notices before entering. I like to know what my costs are when I'm at a restaurant.

It seems like a fine place for a date if you can be seated somewhere further away from the band.

Loved this place for happy hour! Very nice atmosphere, good menu and music. Danny, our server went the extra mile with recommendations and our request to see the label of the Cabernet we enjoyed. The Cajun crab dip and cheese plate were a perfect combo. At $5 a small plate, you can go wrong. We will be back!

If I could give more stars I would! The wine list was expertly crafted and had an expansive number of flights. It was well beyond your normal red and white selections. I had a wonderful salad that was fresh, flavorful and beyond what I expected. The woman behind the bar was helpful and friendly.

Aperitivo is the perfect little spot to grab a drink, a bite to eat and shop around. The service is great and quick, so it makes for a good lunch spot. Pictured is the meltdown, it’s soo good!! You can tell they put care into what they serve.

Great atmosphere and gorgeous charcuterie! I loved the wine flights and ingredients on the charcuterie were top notch. Street parking is limited so give yourself plenty of time to find a spot.
Love the vibes here! I tried the Black Magic wine flight and enjoyed every one of the tastings. From the menu we sampled the Brussel Sprouts and the Chicken & Waffles - both were fantastic! Be sure to make a reservation a few days ahead of time if you want to catch the live music!

What a fun place - the atmosphere is amazing here. It is honestly a lovely place. The setup is great. The left side is retail - a great little selection of bottles of wine. The right side is the restaurant. A large bar, high top tables, the front being a cozy section of standard tables. There's also a patio section outdoors. For being a small space, they have it set up to fit a lot of people in there.
The wine is good - glasses, bottles, flights. They also have cocktails and beer.
The food - damnnnnnn, those charcuterie boards are out of this world. You can just order one listed on the menu if you are busy chatting or just lazy, but if you want to be choosy or make it fun you can build your own - As small or large as you want. And they... are... incredible. Beautiful. Delicious. Seriously, do it.
The service here was also spot on. We sat at the bar, and our bartender was fantastic. Hopefully she's there the next time I go back.

We had a fantastic evening. We got the Monger's Choice based off what we read online and then split both of their sour beers. Our server Gretchen ...I believe... was absolutely fantastic in her recommendations. We kinda just went with the flow and let her take her best guess on what we liked previously, and she did not disappoint. We will be back for meal next time.

My husband and I made a reservation here for our 2nd year anniversary. It is not a cheap restaurant but the price you pay is well worth the experience. From the moment we walked in the service was welcoming and professional. The hostess kindly greeted us and immediately made us feel like old friends. Our waitress also made us feel like we were her only customers and wanted us to know details about the special and other menu items. The food was delicious. We had the charcuterie board and guacamole/salsa introductions. For the main course we had the bistro filet and the barbecue duck. Both cooked perfectly with delicious vegetables sides. They graciously gave us a complimentary dessert in honor of our anniversary. As we dined our water was kept full but we were not constantly being disturbed. It was a beautiful evening sharing a special occasion at a restaurant I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a “fine dining” experience.

Just enjoyed a first time outing at House of Wines. We ordered 3 flights of wine, charcuterie board, a few additional glasses, and left with an additional bottle of wine. Danny was our server and did a great job, even pointing out that one glass I wanted to order was a certain (higher) price point, which I appreciated the heads up. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic! Went there for my birthday, and was impressed. Service was quick, along with delicious food. The scallops were perfectly cooked. I had the black spaghetti, and would order it again. The shrimp in all of our dishes were a little over cooked, hence the 4 stars. The half chicken was a nice wholesome meal.
