The food isn’t cheap, but it was very tasty and a great atmosphere. The service was great and everyone was extremely friendly.
Food is amazing! It's a neighborhood bar atmosphere. Staff is super friendly. Even the customers are friendly. It's as if everyone knows each other and they are so happy to see you, even when you've never there before.
The only issue we had was service kind of slowed down when the place started to fill up. Whoever is tending the bar is also waiting on all the tables. Easy to get overwhelmed and miss seeing empty glasses or people obviously waiting for their check.
The warm, friendly atmosphere and the absolutely wonderful food makes all the rest quite forgivable, so we will definitely go back and just plan for extra time.

Pleasantly surprised! Very nice bar/restaurant. Good beer selection. Decent food. Very friendly service. I recommend stopping by. Don't be fooled by the house front entrance.

The trees here were good and the prices the best around. Small trees were $40-$60. The guys working there were friendly and serviced us well. They wrapped it up and helped tie it onto the car. They did it it well enough that it didn’t fall off on the drive home lol. I’d recommend for anyone looking for an affordable tree. The other 3 places we visited were averaging 90-125 a tree!!
My friend and I had the pineapple slushies (alcoholic of course) at Forest Inn and they were DELICIOUS!! 10/10 would highly recommended this place to anyone. We will definitely be visiting again soon!
Nice place. Bf had oysters; I just had drinks! Bartender very nice. Parking , of course sucks. Now must pay on weekends. Ppl don't wanna come downtown to begin with...now have to pay for parking on weekends. It's not good for these few decent businesses downtown...😒
I love coming here. Food always tastes delicious, waiters and waitresses are always amicable and I love how calm the environment is. The Brussel sprouts are the best thing ever.
The manager Saïdel was so kind and so was our waitress, Orion, they both made sure our service was great! Definitely will return!
I always get the 7 pepper sirloin salad with French onion soup. Never disappoints and prices are reasonable.

Beginning to end, the staff's attentive nature shone through, promptly guiding us to our seats and presenting a choice of beverages and bread. Our server, Rachel, remained consistently attentive during our dining experience. The gastronomic journey itself was genuinely exceptional, highlighted by food of remarkable quality. Post-dinner, Manager Saidel Laine personally approached our table to ensure our satisfaction, exuding warmth and friendliness. A definite recommendation is in order.
Cool authentic type irish pub. Not a great section of town. Large selection of European beers. Lots of wood and brass decor. Food is better than average bar food. Unfortunately, yes the bartender is not the friendliest and yes go to the back of the line if you’re not a regular. You will see this is a reoccurring theme as you read reviews. Not a terrible experience we have been here a few times but nothing real convincing to come often.
My most recent visit to longhorn steakhouse was my first, I was very well satisfied with the food the service and the atmosphere of this facility. I had Filet Mignon and it was prepared perfectly. I'm looking forward to my next visit to longhorn steakhouse to try other dishes on their menu.
The house oysters were $2 each. They were pretty good and decent sized. We also got the steamed muscles with garlic bread French style. The sauce it came in was good but the muscles smelled kind of funky. A couple flies came over when the muscles were brought to us. Other than that. Great atmosphere and service was good. The server/bartender was incredibly friendly.

We come to Reading once a year, the Ugly Oyster is a must every time we are in town. The New York Strip is amazing and very reasonably priced. The staff is very accommodating, we had a group of 9 and it is a very tiny place. However the waitress made sure we all had a spot and wonderful service. If your in reading and looking for a cool pub atmosphere and good food, the Ugly Oyster is a must !
The wings were great, steaks on point and the cheese cake hit the spot everything was delicious.

Rented the upstairs hall for a surprise 40th wedding anniversary for my parents. Lisa was great to work with. She communicated well and I was very pleased with the evening. My parents got married at the same hall 40 years ago so it was bittersweet. We all had a good time and had lots of run to dance around. Thanks again!

Our server was Gregory and he was absolutely wonderful. The honey wheat bread and butter was warm and delicious. I ordered the NEW Parmesan Chicken and BBQ Ribs with very creamy mashed potatoes also macaroni and cheese which was delicious and fulfilling. The endless refills of Sprite (3) were cold and refreshing. I had 2 take the ribs macaroni and cheese home which were tender and juicy and DELICIOUS the next day at home. This was my 1st time eating a meal from the restaurant and I would go again. 10 out of 10.
There is no need to order the "extra chicken" on your salad, the portions are huge! Chicken was well seasoned and moist. We also enjoyed the sweet potato fries with caramel and the interesting take on honey mustard chicken cheesesteak. I love the old pub feel of the Ugly oyster. Prices are very reasonable and this place is worth a visit if you've never been. (Oldest pub I'm Berks County if you didn't already know)
Stopped in this spot because my friend was craving a steak. We are from Houston and I read good reviews from this place. We arrived late, 40 minutes before they closed (we normally don't do this, but we were starving), they were so nice and polite. We ordered the waygu and the truffle fries! They were delicious. The steak melted in our mouths like butter. The truffle fries were aaaaamazing. They were so polite with recommendations and etc. I definitely recommend this restaurant and the wait staff. Thank you

Dine in at 11:45 am. Excellent crab cake platter. Burger was cooked perfect. Hand pulled ipa, and electric lemonade. Second time back. Nice atmosphere. Call for reservations on the weekend!!! Definitely coming back when in town.

My all time favorite bar and favorite bartenders! It’s clean and organized. Even though it’s in a rougher part of the city I haven’t had a bad experience and everyone is friendly. And I love their hot dogs
Attended a charity Dart Tournament here and it was a great time. The tournament was well run. This place offers food and very inexpensive drinks
Best Coneys in Berks. Accept no substitutes. The beer is cold, the dogs are fresh, and the crowd is usually pretty awesome. If you're going to a show at Santander or just cruising the city, this is a spot you don't want to skip. You can thank me later.
Hidden gem in Reading, at least for me. Finally decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did. I had the blue point raw oysters as an appetizer and they are incredible, super fresh and delicious 😋 Opted for the fish and chips as an entree and they were on point! Lightly breaded well seasoned thick pieces of pollock fried to perfection😋 I love the old bar and the old school ambience. Perfect place on a cold winter day to sit by the fire and enjoy some good food👍
Rowdy customers drunkenly hollering inside and outside of this establishment. I listened to an altercation take place just outside the door. No actions were taken by staff. On another occasion, I was greeted by a man smoking cigarette outside the entrance who told me to "smile" and asked why I looked so mad. Definitely not an inviting or safe atmosphere as a woman. I'll take my business elsewhere.
Amazing bar I'm one who personally likes a quiet place and with friendly faces. If this is what your looking for look no further during most nights it's quite with a great group of regulars. The bartenders vary ask for Stella she is on point with service and classy like her name. They have a pool table and darts and hopefully soon food to order.

Went here twice for a class reunion. Nice sized hall. My father used to cater weddings here in the past.
Ben the bartender is great! Loved him! Attentive & funny!! He made an awesome Long Island Ice Tea!! We just moved here to West Reading & we were looking for a small very casual corner bar with a jukebox, pool table, drinks & bar food! We found it! It's not far from where I live (about 1.5 miles away) but I don't see me walking there! Wish it was a little closer to us! We'll be back! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
It’s an experience coming here. I suppose this would qualify as an old “dive bar” with regulars. You can get Coney Island hotdogs and drink prices are about half what they are on the other side of the river. Bartender was friendly and service was fast

Had a great experience at Longhorn Steakhouse. The food was excellent and everything was prepared perfectly as ordered. Our Server Wendy made the whole meal even better. She was happy and fun, she made the evening even better with her outgoing personality. Hat's off to you Wendy for your excellent service, We will definitely be back.

old school relaxed bar ! 2 pool tables and pinball and a shuffle board have to join or know someone to get you in Club style smoking establishment pretty good food certain days for specials I believe there opened every of the week ! friendly staff and people
We decided to try the event posted on Facebook as the Adult Toy Bingo. It was exactly as promised and very much fun. About halfway in a bunch of men from the bar came in and did not play but disrupted the entire venue, spilling drinks, and being a bit out of line for the event. I would suggest only allowing paying guests to be in the hall. For our first time visiting it was fun, but had potential to be better without the drunk guys.
Love this place! Great Drinks and Great Food! Pool table and Dart Board! Awesome jukebox with great variety of music! Always pleasant crowds with fantastic service carried by happy smiling bartenders. Highly Recommended!
It was great!! The bartender (Stacy) was fantastic. She was always ready to fill my drink or make me laugh with a cleaver joke. Place was clean and the atmosphere was pleasant.
Hands down the best wings around. The variety of flavors and size of the wings makes this place our families go to wing place. Great beer selection and drinks. Looks like a house, not hard to find but if you didn't know it you would think it's just a house on the block. Try it you will not be disappointed!!
The old staff had me leaving 1 or 2 stars, the new staff has me leaving 4.5 or 5, ask Bianca for a long island iced tea!!
