Olive and Finch Cherry Creek is a bright fun venue with a mix of seating and probably the best breakfast in Denver. In a city where the food seldom lives up to its lofty praise this is a standout exception. We went for a Cinnamon Bun, Brooklyn Bagel and Breakfast tacos.

The cinnamon bun was crisp on the bottom and well flavored throughout the entire bun. A croissant feel with a deep savory feel and sweet outside that gave balance with every bite. Beyond expectations.

The breakfast tacos are a massive portion consisting of three tacos with perfectly crisp potatoes that delivered so much flavor. Each bite was perfect delivering cheese, beans and tortilla. It didn't fall apart at all. I'm not sure I've ever had a better more balanced taco that made me want to just continue eating well past the point of being full.

The Brooklyn bagel wasn't mine but I'm assured it was amazing as the feedback was "I didn't expect to love this as much as I do".

Good coffee, great service and it's fast. I'm sorry I waited so long to eat here but I won't be long before returning.

Really loved the chai latte.

You have to order online at your table however so if you’re looking for dine in with servers this is not that.
Thoroughly impressed with this place. I’m a former chef and bar trainer and can definitely say the food and drinks here are legit. Some of the best wings and pizza I’ve had in denver. Hand cut fries, oysters, mussels all so good and on happy hour. Awesome happy hour too. Courtney the bartender was great. One of my new favorite places in Denver area
Almost did 4 stars because of the food wait, but the sizing per pricing made up for it. Everything is huge. The poutine fries were 🤌🏽 the chimichurri sauce was surprisingly good and flavorful. Yes, that’s giant chunks of steak on top. The trash can lid (I think is the name) could feed 3 people. The sourdough bread was so good that I was I got it on the side to savor. Dark meat chicken was moist and well coated. The beer gravy doesn’t taste like beer but it does taste delicious. Chicken sandwich was also good size and flavor. Expect to drop some cash here, but this place gives “hipster dream first date” eclectic.
Great place for an informal event! We hosted a mixer for our team in their private space. The team went above and beyond to make sure that our event went smoothly. I can't say enough about the staff. Super attentive, even to the point of remembering every person's name (35 in attendance) and their drink orders throughout the night. We will definitely be coming back.
We went to Revival Denver Public House for dinner on Valentine's Day and the experience was perfect. We ordered the Pickle Chips for an appetizer and shared the Catfish & Grits for our meal...both were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. For drinks, I went with the dirty martini and my wife had the Inside Sweater...both delicious. We highly recommend visiting here and you can get a buy one menu item, get one free offer with the Eat+Drink Denver Pass.

I recently visited Olive & Finch in Denver, an elevated corner bakery where you order at the counter and are served at your seat. The process of receiving a cute wooden block after ordering added a charming touch to the experience.

The ambiance is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed lunch. I ordered the Shakshuka, which was flavorful and accompanied by fresh baked bread. As a little treat I finished the brunch with a flaky chocolate almond croissant.

This place is such a vibe. The interior is so funky, I love it. The food was superb! Ahh
The mushroom herb omelette was to die for and the chicken was delish! I also enjoyed a coconut water beverage which was amazeballs. I highly recommend. It was worth the wait time.

Everyone is on the same page. I could tell each staff member was comfortable and empowered in their role, and it makes a huge difference. Neither of us drink and one of us is vegetarian. Nate made us delicious n/a cocktails and the chef sent out an incredible vegetarian main for us that was off menu. Steps of service were flawless - no awkward moments at all. They also sent us home with house made chocolates, cookies, and muffins. That’s a really special touch that keeps the experience going when you get home. Whatever cookies their baker had made for the gift bag were perfect. Hopefully Mizuna is a sign of things to come in Denver

EVERYTHING was fabulous. The gnocchi, the cassoulet, and the chocolate skillet cake had me singing by the end of the night. The cocktail and wine list work perfectly with the dinner menu.

I saw reviews about slow service, which was not the case for me and the restaurant was quite busy. I’ll also say that I appreciated that our server wasn’t too quick and didn’t hover. He was relaxed so we were relaxed and took the time to enjoy ourselves. That atmosphere is difficult to accomplish but Duo did it perfectly.

The service tonight was exceptional! Everyone, from host, our waiter, bartender and sommelier were so knowledgeable and made us feel at home. Chef’s tasting menu is totally worth every penny! We got 11 courses, including Beef Wellington, and were so full we barely finished. Can’t wait to go back!

Root Down in Denver beckons the hungry traveler with an unapologetic fusion of flavors. This isn’t your run-of-the-mill restaurant; it’s a culinary escapade that slaps conformity in the face. From the kitchen’s rebellious embrace of local, organic produce to the menu’s uncharted territories of global influences, Root Down is a rebellion against culinary monotony.

Step into this den of gastronomic audacity, and you’ll find yourself on a journey. The dishes aren’t just plated; they’re stories from the streets of flavor-rich locales. It’s a rollercoaster for your taste buds, a rebellion against the mundane, and a celebration of the diverse tapestry that is food.

The ambiance is an artful chaos, where urban cool meets the warmth of a neighborhood joint. It’s loud, it’s alive, and it’s unapologetically Root Down. If Anthony Bourdain were here, he’d raise a glass to this culinary insurrection, to the chefs unafraid to push boundaries, and to a dining experience that transcends the ordinary. Cheers to a place that feeds not just your hunger but your wanderlust for the unexpected.

Super cute spot! Busy on a Sunday morning but we were able to get a seat right away. The shakshuka more than lived up to the hype, would definitely recommend.
This place is SO SO fantastic! Our server was a doll and so accommodating and lovely to interact with. One person in our party had a couple food sensitivities, and she remembered them throughout the entire service whenever she ordered another cocktail or food item. The cocktails are delicious. Food is to die for. Most of the items we got were spicy, so be sure to ask about that if you don't like spice. Get the bread pudding! And the poutine! And crab cakes. Best to go with a large group and everyone order different items so you can try them all :) If you're a vegetarian, the mushroom toast was phenomenal as well. Highly recommend! I can't wait to go back!
Revival Denver Public House is such a cute place with great food and drinks! I've been here twice now and both times I truly had a good time with good eats. Their drinks are also top notch.

Amazing experience. The pork was amazing and is apparently a staple of the menu year round. Their current menu was incredible - we tried way too many things.

For drinks, definitely get the pear pressure. Dangerously good.

Atmosphere is incredibly intimate and cute. Great for dates. I’m leaving to review with this place.

Denver never stops surprising me!

Root down is an amazing restaurant - they really understand flavors. They have unconventional combinations in their dishes - but they all work. Splendidly!!

I’d the carrot cake French toast - OMG! It was one of the very best french toasts that I’ve had! 😋😋😋
And they’d a vegan custard made of Tofu and coconut milk - I never get to eat dessert since the vast majority of them have dairy in them. And, when I do get vegan options they’re not very good. But the miso caramel custard was heavenly! I loved the umami of the miso coming through a dessert topped with chewy ginger candy, crunchy sage leaves and crispy apples! Sigh!! 😋😋
My partner had the breakfast burrito - it was delicious too! We also ordered a side of vegetarian green chili - also yummy! 🙂

One thing though - all of us in our group weren’t very impressed with our drinks. I’d ordered the coconut ginger fizz and it ended up being too heavy on the lime for my taste. But the bartender was kind enough to remake the drink for me, which I subsequently liked - as the drink was a bit unique and I liked the play of those flavors.

And a huge shout out to our waitress - Grace! A real sweetheart! 😊

If you’re in Denver - go here!! Just plan ahead and get on their waiting list! We didn’t call/book ahead and had to wait for ~40 minutes! But the food was worth it.

Went to Duo for the first time for the NYE tasting menu and it was okay. The crudo was tasteless, the crab cake was kind of mushy, the risotto needed salt but the pavlova dessert was delicious. For $90 a person I would have expected more. Overall tasted decent but not for the price.

We have dined here before and enjoyed it. We did takeout for the first time and were a bit shocked at how little food we received especially considering how much it cost. This was 62$ for two entrees. One of us would have been hungry after eating both. We had cook our own meal and this ended up being an appetizer on a night we did not plan to cook.

We loved Mizuna! We were celebrating a special occasion and Mizuna celebrated with us by greeting us with complementary champagne. The food variety matched all of our tastes and I got to try Beef Wellington for the first time! All courses were spectacular and the special touch at the end was a free box of cookies and muffins and a box of chocolates! If you’re looking for friendly service and amazing food for your next special occasion then I highly recommend Mizuna!

To preface, I’m sad to write this review, but Mizuna was a big, expensive disappointment. If they had charged us half of what we got charged, this would be a 4.5 star place. For a $700 dinner tab though, this place barely -
warrants 2.5 stars.

Good things we liked
-everyone was really nice and attentive; even the chefs greeted us when we came in and when we left
-the ambiance is great, it’s super romantic
-the menu seemed interesting and creative
-the server did ask the kitchen when I brought up my allergic reactions
-my partner liked the beef tartare and the scallop
-the duck was good and cooked perfectly but, not the best I’ve had in Denver

Here’s my list of grievances:
-tablecloth was dirty when we sat down
-I have allergies and had reactions from multiple dishes- I asked during the meal “does this have my allergy food in it?” And each time was told no
-I left untouched dishes on the table or slid them over to my partner for this “tasting menu” option; only once did the server ask if something was wrong when she saw me do that, only she didn’t ask out of concern, she asked because she never wrote anything down and “thought I wanted beef tartare” when in fact it was my partner who requested that specific plate
-yeah the no writing anything down for a $700 meal service is pretty bananas to me; esp when the guest indicates allergies in the PAID RESERVATION
-the wine was a complete miss - not one of their wines on the “sommelier tasting menu” was worth it (although my partner disagrees and thinks the Cote de Rhone at the end was good…I think he was just drunk by then)
-the $35 “famous” lobster mac and cheese was an abomination. I can’t even begin to tell you how embarrassing it is that I had to mix it up because at least 3 tbsp of oil was sitting on top of dish (did it separate from sitting around or do they just serve it like that? Couldn’t tell)
-I’m watching other tables get bread while we have been there longer and we had nothing on the table except a dirty tablecloth. At least throw me a roll at the beginning of service for $700 jeez
-the server was very nice but again, didn’t write anything down, and didn’t tell us when we sat down that tasting menus has to be served to everyone at the table or no one at the table could have a tasting menus, which elongated the process to order.
-pasta dish was way overcooked, please don’t serve anymore Italians this (they did tell me the pasta was made in house)
-dessert was underwhelming but it did have a candle on it
-for a 22% “creating happy people fee” to be incorporated into the bill, but then to find that the turnover is so high, just doesn’t compute
-an acquaintance says this place is just hit or miss, but for $700 meal for 2 people it should hit after hit after hit every time

….and now I know why they didn’t get a Michelin star

Wouldn’t return
There are times when I'm reminded what a fabulous server/bartender can provide beyond begrudgingly taking your order and bringing out some food: enjoying an inviting, friendly (and funny!) human provide stellar customer service thereby completely making your day! I had a wonderful experience. Kudos to Cat. Also, the Chilaquiles are 💯🔥🤩 Will definitely return.

Service isn't super speedy, but it doesn't need to be. I guess it's all part of the slow food movement.
The menu is sensitive to food allergies and tolerances, such as gluten free, vegan, though they do to not have a designation specifically for dairy free. Lots of their items have dairy.
I arrived between 6 and 6:30 with lots of seats available. By the time I left, the place had filled up. Menu is not extensive, but just about everything sounded good, tasty n healthy. I ordered Pan Fried Chicken with Polenta and Brussel Sprouts with a dollop of Creme Fraiche on top. It was good and I ate it all. Skin on outside was crispy, not flabby.
For dessert I ordered a Chocolate Truffle for $2, as all other desserts had dairy, which I don't want. I also ordered Espresso with a twist of lemon peel, which went great with Truffle.
Everything here is clean - the food, the bench seat and table, the bathrooms, the kitchen...
Kind of expensive - $67 for just me, but I'd return.

Shannon our server took terrific care of my family and I! Ahi tuna appetizer was fantastic! Steaks done to perfection! Kept us on time for our concert at Ball arena.
Thank you again for a terrific night out!!
I love Blackbird, I visit this restaurant every time I'm in Denver. Such a varied menu selection, the food never disappoints. Visited today, ordered the grilled pork chop and Cat, our great bartender, asked if I wanted extra gravy - excellent suggestion! There is a fine selection of adult beverages that includes some sophisticated cocktails and a rotating draft beer selection. I loved the creepy kids and their pets decorations for Halloween. If you haven't visited Blackbird yet, be sure to check this restaurant out.

Wow! What a place, worth more than the 5 stars. Food is cooked to perfection. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. The manager also checked on us. We went here for our anniversary and we felt so special. The food was so good and Stephen was amazing and so helpful! While this is primarily a steakhouse they also had great non-beef options (I don’t do beef but the salmon was sooo good!) We had so much fun celebrating here and would absolutely recommend.

Stopped in for coffee to kill some time, and saw Mocha on the menu. Kryptonite. Had to have it. It came in a huge mug and had more chocolate and sweetness than coffee. To my mind, a mocha should be coffee with chocolate, but this seemed the other way round. Staff looked bored and obligatory.
But this is more than just a coffee shop. There's baked goods in a small case, and they were busy making some breakfast specials for what appeared to be regulars. Lots of wine and beer offerings and a few cocktails as well.

Food: I have been here multiple times and the food is always fantastic. The seafood is high quality and always fresh. I would highly recommend the jumbo crab cake. It is perfectly seared on the outside and delicious crab inside. It also comes served with a slaw. It actually is pretty big too. I would also recommend the surf and turf appetizer. You can’t go wrong with scallops seared to perfection and short ribs so tender you don’t need a knife. As far as dessert, you literally can’t go wrong! I love their 10 layer carrot cake.

Service: Every time I have gone, the staff was always very attentive, friendly, and made great recommendations. They were always respectful of the time because normally I would have a show to attend at the Denver Center of Performing Arts.

Highly recommended eating here for any occasion!

Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Menu was versatile, yet intentional. I had the Rockfish Tom Gha, my friend had the NY strip, off the summer menu. This was my first time at this style of establishment, and I am absolutely blown away. The bold, rich flavors kept me constantly thinking, trying to process everything I was enjoying. From the kind staff, to the comfortable environment, to the visual presentation of the dishes made this meal very special. I highly recommend planning a nice night out if you are a fan of fantastic food. I personally had the Oak Smoked Hudson Valley Duck, and it was beautifully moist and full of flavor (and I have never had duck up to this point). Will definitely need to visit Mizuna's again in the future.

Thank you to all the waitstaff, chefs, and back of house for making this evening very special for my wife and I.

We had an excellent anniversary dinner at Corinne! It was our first time there and we’ll definitely be back. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was cozy. Sau was our host and Christian was our server and they were so attentive. Also — the bread was a must-have!!!
Spur of the moment drive by dining choice. Pub feel with comfortable seats and very friendly staff.

Just went for the food and picked the Bird Sandwich and the Shrimp poboy. Fries are salty perfectly cooked and stand on their own with nothing more required. The bird sandwich is pretty large and ordered as is has slaw, remoulade and the standard lettuce tomato additions. The chicken is a weak spot but in the sandwich it's perfect. Each bite is a great mix of savory, salty and sweet.

Plenty of parking. Service was great. They had a party of 45 in front of us so it took a while but the manager/owner was great at keeping us in the loop.

This is a solid place to eat and the pizzas going by will have me returning to try them. I didn't have any drinks so I'm eager to head back.

Good food, good people, good place.

Review two: ordered pizza for delivery. Went with a custom but it hit perfectly. Good crust, soft and well seasoned. Toppings were perfect. No complaints, it arrived on time and was as good as imagined

My wife and I were visiting Denver and decided to stop in on a Saturday night. The restaurant was crowded but we were seated right away treated to some delicious popcorn. My wife ordered twin lobster tails and I got the grouper. The food was excellent. My meal came with some of the best gnocchi I have ever had. The atmosphere was great too given the location in Larimer Square. I would highly recommend Ocean Prime.

This was my second time out to this location, and it was just as lovely as the first! Their patio is large with plenty of space between tables. It was also dog friendly, so my pup was able to hang out with us while we ate (always a plus!)!

Their cold brew had a nice chocolate flavor and the Shakshuka was incredible - SO much flavor. Peppery and served at the perfect temperature with some crunchy bread.
I came to eat with my daughter and my Wife. We had the green chili and cheese fries that were very good. My daughter really wasn’t that hungry which left more for my wife and I I also ordered a Washington Park burger and I asked if I could put Parmesan on the fries. The waitress was awesome with her suggestions, my wife had the Shrimp Etouffe plate. We came before the rush. We saw that they had some oyster specials on Tuesday and during happy hour looking forward to come and try that out. If this helped you leave a thumbs up and if you like to read more of my reviews you can follow.

Absolutely incredible service and experience. Gave me a champagne toast & dessert to celebrate my bachelorette party. From the greeters in the beginning, hosts, servers, busters to the managers they made you feel like they 100% valued you as a customer. We were late because we got lost (we are from Delaware) and felt so bad about being late, apologized profusely & they just said “we don’t care, we are just happy you are here with us”. Talk about outstanding customer service! Manager even came over to compliment our table and said we were nice & beautiful ladies that stood out and brought up the restaurant. Just genuine, kind, hospitable people working there. Thanks again for making the experience so special.

This was our first experience here & literally it blew us out of the water. I’m I work in customer service so we love good service & good food but often are disappointed by one at certain restaurants. My clients always rave about this place so we had to try it. Literally everything we experienced & ordered was 10/10 worth every single penny! As well as our waiter (James I think his name was) was absolutely fabulous! Very delicious food for a special occasion 😋 we got the brussel sprouts, Bolognese, a cowboy steak and a cherry cheese cake for $280 (No drinks just water). The service was really good, but the atmosphere was not there for us. It was so loud I couldn't hear my husband from across the small table. Way too loud for a place like this but what can you do 🤷‍♀️. We definitely will be returning to celebrate another special occasion ❤️ thank you for a wonderful anniversary celebration.
I rarely finish my food, but these Garden Tacos at Blackbird were the exception. Flavor and presentation were both fantastic. My server Brittany suggested them as her personal favorite. I was very impressed by the condition of the building, quality of service, and ingredients alike. The happy hour is awesome if you want great snacks and drinks with some friends. This is already my new favorite early dinner spot. Great location and atmosphere.

Overall, would be willing to come back and try another meal. We came during breakfast hours and it was pretty busy, which ultimately impacted the speed of service but it was not his fault. First time going and what a wonderful meal it was! I had the surf & and turf, I chose the Filet & Cod. Delicious!!! The scalloped potatoes were perfect, as was the brocolini. Now, the Two to Mango dessert was divine and looking for the next time I can go back for another taste before the menu changes. Ha. And the chocolate chip cookies are a must try.

We had a great time at Mizuna! We did the tasting menu with the wine pairing - definitely a splurge cost-wise but worth it for the food and the wonderful service. We were nervous about the "blind" nature - not knowing what you're gonna get next - but every course tasted incredible and the wine pairings were excellent. Also, they are more than happy to make sure that you get a taste of another item listed on the menu to be sure you don't miss out. We asked for one course to be the Beef Wellington (highly endorsed by the waiter) and they swapped it into the normal tasting menu so we could try it!

What we really appreciated were all the unannounced special touches - extra pours of wines we liked, surprise extra dishes, and to-go treats. The staff went above and beyond to customize out night and make it special. This isn't a mass-produced tasting menu experience like you may have had elsewhere. We highly recommend anyone in the Denver area gives Mizuna a try! They even have their own cookbook available if you want to read about their techniques.
This was just a delightful dining experience. We went for a late brunch. Legit Maryland crabs, peel and eat shrimp, mussels and awesome Brussels sprouts. We spent several hours enjoying everything. Great service too! We will be back (and back and back)

A must visit when in Denver. Very delicious side dishes. Our steaks were divine. The atmosphere was also spacious and inviting. At first we thought the waiter forgot about us, but then he surprised us with a b-day card signed by the chef and we assume the rest of the wait staff. So, that was a nice little gesture.

I have to take the time to make known I am grateful for the blessing showered on me and my family by Guard and Grace. This is one of the finest, if not the finest, restaurants in the Denver area. My family and I were blessed at first by having the distinct pleasure of being serviced by our waiter, Bryan. He made our dining experience an excellent one by being very attentive, proactive, passionate about the menu/food, ensuring we had a five star dining experience and shared his personal journey and story in the hospitality industry. Later our table was greeted by Arthur the manager. Now I must say he sets the example of what an exemplary manager both is and should be!! He took time to come and introduce himself, spend time and converse, laugh and share some of his humor. He then wished my dad a happy birthday and I thought that was the end of it. Well, after we had been served our meal, about 15 minutes later and much to my surprise, he personally delivered me one of the best cuts of tomahawk steak as a personal birthday gift to my dad from him! We were so overwhelmed we could barely contain ourselves. Then we had a personal visit from the Executive Chef himself, Steven Garza. He wished my dad a happy birthday, conversed with us, showed profound interest, and took a picture with my dad and wished us a pleasant dining experience. So with a grateful heart, my family and I can truly say God blessed us during our fining experience with fine food, passionate people and the spirit of grace and love during our visit! 10/10!!!

Located in Downtown Denver on the corner of historic Larimer Square, Ocean Prime is an ideal place to socialize and indulge in Happy Hour in the Lounge. Happy Hour is offered Monday through Friday from 4-6pm. All Lounge food offerings are $5 off and there are $8 Specialty Cocktails, $8 select red & white wines, & $5 local beers.

I valeted my car right by Ocean Prime on Larimer Square for $10 with validation from the restaurant.

We arrived at Ocean Prime and were seated at a high-top table in the Lounge. The aesthetic was high-end and sophisticated with chestnut woods and dark blue uplighting. Our server Elliot had great flair and happy hour recommendations. Managers Chris and Nick ensured customers had everything they needed and were well taken care of.

For cocktails I had the Black Orchid - only $8 during happy hour - made with Belvedere Organic Blackberry & Lemongrass Infusion, St. Germain, Fresh Lemon & White Cranberry Juice. This cocktail is my favorite at Ocean Prime. The Black Orchid came in a martini glass with an ice orb that held an orchid flower inside. The cocktail had aromas and flavor notes of blackberry & lemon that burst onto the palate with a lovely juicy sweetness that refreshed.

Jaclyn had the Reposado Paper Plane made with Casamigos Reposado, Aperol, St. Germain, & Fresh Lemon Juice. The Reposado Paper Plane was the National Cocktail Competition Winner of People's Choice Awards.

The Ahi Tuna Tartare was made with Avocado, Pickled Ginger, Sour Cream, & Citrus Ponzu. The Tuna Tartare was an elegant raw appetizer filled with fresh, light ingredients. The sushi-grade ahi tuna pieces were generous in size and had a soft texture against the satisfying crunch of the wonton crisps.

The Prime Roll was made with Tempura Shrimp, Cream Cheese, Scallion, & Beef Carpaccio. The thinly sliced beef carpaccio sat atop the sushi roll and gave it a savory flavor. The tempura shrimp in the roll had a delicate crunch that folded into the smooth cream cheese.

The Ocean Roll was made with #1 Tuna, Salmon, Hamachi, Avocado, & Chili Garlic Oil. The Ocean Roll was fresh and vibrant. The hamachi was smoothly luscious. The chili garlic oil added subtle spice that enhanced the richness of the tuna, salmon, and hamachi.

The Sonoma Goat Cheese Ravioli were made with Golden Oak Mushrooms. The ravioli was wonderful - a richly flavored pasta filled with smooth goat cheese.

For our seafood main we split the Teriyaki Salmon made with Shiitake Sticky Rice, Soy Butter Sauce. This is one of the best salmon entrees you can find in Denver. The salmon was juicy and flakey and coated in the bold & thick teriyaki glaze. The sticky glaze combined with the soy butter sauce gave the salmon a perfect combo of sweet tang.

For dessert we had the Warm Butter Cake made with Fresh Berries, Vanilla Ice Cream, Raspberry Sauce. The cake was piping hot with vanilla ice cream melting atop. The crisp sugar exterior gave way to a densely buttery interior making for decadent gooey bites of the cake.

Outstanding dinner! I was visiting on a business trip with three colleagues and we were all exceedingly pleased with our dishes. The service was also excellent and the prices were reasonable given the quality of the food. Definitely worth a visit.

I had such an amazing experience at guard and grace. Our server(Nydia) as well as everyone working in the restaurant was so attentive, polite and friendly. They go above and beyond when it comes to customer service which just elevates the entire experience. I had the steak flight which was cooked perfectly. The potatoes au gratin were packed with cheese and cooked to perfection. The Brussels had a great flavor as well. They also took the time to give us a card signed by the staff for our anniversary and a small dessert which also helped to make the night even better. It is nice to find a place where the quality of food stands up to the pricing. I will definitely be returning!
We visited Revival Denver Public House for the first time on a Sunday to have brunch and see some live music. The restaurant was set up perfectly to do both! We got bottomless mimosas for $20 - a great deal, and definitely lived up to their name. I would highly recommend both the Chicken and Waffles and the Hangover Burger (pictured). The staff was welcoming, excellent, and very nice. We met the owner and his wife and they were also wonderful people and were very welcoming. There is a very homey feeling in this place and we will definitely be back for more music and food events!

My husband and I enjoyed an elegant dinner. The food was superb and the wine suggestion paired well with the dish. The GM Mike was so nice and checked on us throughout the night. Our waiter RIO was helpful and fantastic. We will definitely revisit this restaurant, highly recommended.

The experience is great. The dry ice made the meal fun and exotic. Thr food was amazing.

It is pricey but it is amazing quality. The fish is juicy and we'll seasoned. The oysters to lobster was very fresh and didn't have a overwhelming fishnets.

You will need to find parking in advance or pay heavy on valet or close parking.
The bathrooms were clean!
Buuuut, that’s the best thing it has going for it. Ordered the blue cheese chips and they came out burned and covered in a soupy cheese sauce. The server didn’t seem to agree that they were burned. The pizza was soggy and watery in the middle and the pub burger was missing the candied bacon. When I asked for the bacon, I was given a couple strips covered in a sweet sauce, not actually candied. Definitely won’t make it a destination when in the area. But the bathroom was very pleasant, clean and well-stocked with paper products.

This place was very good, I went here for my birthday dinner earlier this month. I would be interested to go back for brunch one day. Service was excellent and our server was super attentive and friendly. She also hooked me up with a free bread pudding dessert for my birthday! I thought the burger was super juicy and tasty and I also enjoyed the scallops.
My wife and I stayed at the AC hotel while attending a conference at the convention center. On our first day we stopped in Corrine for the convenience, but kept going back for the food. My first time there I got the Chicken Tinga and went back the next three days in a row to enjoy it again and again. It’s truly a perfect dish with its blend of high protein, a lot of spice, and a well balanced flavor profile. Each day was as good as the day before it. The biscuits are equally fantastic, and the one time we went for dinner the Wagu burger was one of the best ever.

My only complaint is the service was inconsistent. Three times the food came quickly, but twice we did wait a little longer than expected. But the servers were all nice and did the best they could considering the delays.

Coming from Philadelphia, we have our share of quality food, and Corrine was easily on par or better. And considering the quality, the price was more than reasonable. It’s worth giving it a try if you’re in downtown Denver.
Came here for an early happy hour. The staff was really nice & helpful. The fried chicken sandwich was good. The dry rub wings, to me, had waaaay too much paprika. Like, tons. The crab pretzel was good, but it needs some kind of sauce with it otherwise it gets kinda dry. They have few beer options. During our visit, they had no seasonal options rotating (even though they lost the option) & a couple on their menu were out.

Great place to take in Downtown Denver, walk the streets and shops. Amazing Surf and Turf. Sides of mushrooms or mash potatoes are a must! Martinis are fabulous. Great restaurant even with a ton of construction going on.

Wow. My boyfriend and I went here to celebrate and what a wonderful, wonderful dinner we had. We got a chance to meet the GM, Mike who was friendly and easy to talk to and were served very quickly before our reservation.

My boyfriend and I did the Chef's Entrust wher you get a 6-course meal and trust the chef for all the rest. It was phenomenal! We loved every course. The presentation was beautiful and the flavors left us wanting more.

Our server was amazing, very kind, and helped us choose the best wine, especially us not knowing what we would be eating. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and highly recommend.

I took my best friend here for her birthday tonight and we had a really nice time! I was blown away by the quality of the food and the service. From the moment we walked in, all the staff were welcoming and professional. Our server Harry was absolutely fantastic and provided great recommendations. We started with the bread basket (okay, we had two) and Brussels sprouts. The seared salmon and seared tuna, entrees were perfect. The mashed potatoes were so buttery and delicious. The berries and cream dessert and mocktails were the icing on the cake. I’m so excited to eat my leftovers tomorrow and even more excited to come back next time for a great meal! Thank you Capital Grille.
I had the most delightful experience celebrating our 8 year anniversary at the Capital Grille, all thanks to the exceptional service provided by our server, Wade. From the moment we arrived, Wade greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel incredibly welcome.

Throughout our afternoon lunch, Wade went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was perfect. The French onion soup, a personal favorite, was presented beautifully and tasted absolutely divine. Our mimosas were expertly crafted, providing a refreshing and celebratory touch to our meal.

What truly stood out was Wade's attention to detail and genuine care for our experience. Despite not ordering a main course, he treated us like VIPs, ensuring our glasses were always full and promptly addressing any requests or questions we had.

Wade's professionalism and friendly demeanor created a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the celebration. His knowledge of the menu and willingness to offer suggestions made our dining experience truly exceptional.

We left the Capital Grille feeling grateful and thoroughly satisfied, all thanks to the outstanding service provided by Wade. It's refreshing to encounter a server who takes such pride in their work, and I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience.

Amazing restaurant! The food was delicious, I had the bone-in pork chop and it is the best I've ever had. The crab croquettes we had for an appetizer and were so good, I would get them every time. The drinks we got were an old fashioned and whiskey sour (Bee Keeper) and they were very good, but strong. My only complaint is the service was slow but the waiter was very friendly and answered all of our questions we had. The pricing is a little on the high side, but I believe you get what you pay for in this case, I will definitely return!

The one of the best steaks I’ve had and the best Alaskan cod I’ve ever had!!!! I had the flight of 4oz steaks which includes prime, wagyu, and grass fed. That was awesome, but the Alaskan cod was phenomenal! Worth the money and the service was superb!!!! The French onion soup was also the best I’ve ever had. It would have been better with a crispy crouton but the broth was unlike any other. We would definitely go again

Brought my daughter here for graduation dinner. She wanted a white table cloth dinner for her first time! She chose this place...atmosphere was very noisy, table's very close together, but the food was the best any of us has ever put in our mouths. Our waitress brought a fabulous cremebrulee after our meal for my college grad, yummm!

Overall, it’s a great experience. We celebrated my wife’s birthday and we loved the crème brûlée with happy birthday written in chocolate. It’s a great gesture. The dinner would have been perfect if all dishes are served one after one. The lamb appetizer is not great.

Great place and a lovely evening! The service was impeccable, the food fantastic. Lots of great flavors, served beautifully. Only "complaint" is that the seating if you are just two is VERY close to the table next you ... we wound up chating w/the folks at the next table because it kind of felt like they were at our table lol. If you are looking for privacy you should probably ask for it when you make your reservation. I will be going back!
Very accommodating! We had a large party and the person I coordinated with was super helpful and responsive. Some of our absolute favorites were the Maryland crab dip, shrimp and grits, the pork belly. The bison was a little too spicy for me though. Everything was very well presented. Our server was absolutely amazing & on top of it even though he was serving 20 people by himself! I would highly recommend this place! Thumbs up!

Matthew, our server, was outstanding. He was professional and attentive. The manager also stopped by our table to make sure we were enjoying our meal and time.

This is a great place to come before going to the theater. If you are coming here strictly to eat, let your server know so dishes coming out are paced a bit slower.

The menu is not inspirational, but all food was executed properly. My dining partner actually liked that the menu was straightforward and not so creative. The crab croquettes were so light with great flavor. Salmon was perfectly prepared and the diver scallops were divine. We shared the bread pudding. I wish there was more bread pudding and less sweet with less ice cream, but we ate all of it.

My biggest beef was the lukewarm coffee. Please buy a “real” coffee machine and use high end beans. Throw away the pump action coffee maker.

I recently rented out Avelina's (LoDo) private room for a birthday party with 25 people and had an absolutely incredible experience! Mike Mitchell (GM) was so attentive when answering all my questions and emails. The restaurant give me incredible options to pick from for a 3 course pre-set menu. The price was unbeatable (seriously, everywhere else was significantly more expensive for so much less), and the portions were HUGE. All of my guests were really impressed. Their cocktail selections are also super with something for everyone. The service was impeccable. Shout out to our server, Bri! The entire process was so easy with absolutely zero surprises or hidden charges. I would 100% recommend this restaurant for a larger event, and I will most certainly be back to try the rest of their menu. Thanks Avelina!

It’s a great place for having with one of the best calamari I ever had. It’s a little expensive but the food is really good. We tried some sushi, calamari lamb chops, ribeye etc. Everything tasted great! Do try the restaurant if you are in Denver downtown. Forgot to mention they have some good vegetarian options too.

The food is as outstanding! Danny our server did an amazing job as well, excellent service. We enjoyed the Chilean sea bass and branzino dish along with calamari for appetizers. Every single dish was amazing but the highlight would have to be the Chilean sea bass, absolutely superb! Nice ambiance and we had a nice city view upstairs, highly recommended.
Awesome menu. Loved the Som here, so welcoming and kind on my sister's birthday. Our server was also fun and very professional. We got bubbles to start and then cocktails (not too sweet, well balanced) and a bottle of malbec. We were here the first night of their spring seasonal menu. The PEI mussels were divine. So many fun flavors. We loved the NY strip and all of the desserts were delicious too. The sumac sorbet was surprising but great for people who like tartness. I loved my lemon thyme dessert. Awesome experience.

This is a classic high end Steak and Seafood House. High end prices with high end finishes. The food comes out cooked to perfection, everything is well presented, and the staff took extra good care of us. We sat upstairs and the vibe was pretty chill despite the prices on the menu. If you’re looking for a fancy night out, this is the place for you.

3/7/23 The leek and potato soup was amazing, the mussels were amazing, the bison short ribs were AMAZING. Finally a restaurant that came through for Denver restaurant week. Delicious. I will definitely be coming here again sometime soon. The only thing I wouldn’t recommend was the sorbet, the texture was off and so was the flavor, it was not my cup of tea.

6/10/23 update- came back here after restaurant week to order the same bison short ribs. They were completely over cooked, dry, and chewy. Not worth coming here for. This restaurant, which was at the top of my list, just fell to an average position.

Score: 69 (F)
Would I come back: No.
Bottom Line: Kitchen leadership was overly ambitious and dishes were poorly executed. Gum should not be dipped in fondue.

Items ordered: Valentines Menu

Cleanliness: 4, place was pretty clean.
Service: 3, server was clueless
Food Quality & Freshness: 3.5, slightly above average freshness but not considered ”fresh”
Flavors: 3, oysters were good but flavors were inconsistent. Tartare was extremely salty. They definitely didn’t taste any of the food before preparing the dishes; fruit was room temperature, scallops were way over buttered and cream sauce was too rich, however chocolate fondue was excellent and potato chips were great.
Plating: 2, very lazy and unthoughtful plating. Pasta looked like straight worms. Way too much cream sauces used across the dishes. Everything kind of thrown on the plate in a messy way. Fruit looked like a kindergartener put it on the plate. Brick-like toffee and “marshmallow” (more like gum) are not appropriate fondue dippables and only a clown would put these on a plate. See attached video w/ sound on.
Portion Size: 5, generous and in-line with the price.
Location: 4, highlands but limited parking and didn’t look like the safest area.
Price: 2, this was only slightly less than pricing of a michelin restaurant but nowhere near the quality.
Drink selection: 4, great choices but I wish we had a better explanation from the server.
Atmosphere: 4, rustic and cozy design was probably done through an interior decor firm

Total: 34.5/50 Points

Lovely farm to table restaurant. I had the red trout which came with scallion olive oil potatoes, pickled charred pepper, fennel, and saffron aioli. For dessert had the chocolate French silk pie and poached pears. Everything was amazing and there were no leftovers! Street parking can be tough to find but if you walk a street or two you may be able to find something.

I love great veggie burgers and they did not disappoint. Absolutely loved their food and drinks. Sit on the patio and take in all the people watching Colfax has to offer. From street fights to homeless characters you won’t be disappointed with the top notch people watching. Would highly recommend trying this restaurant! We called in after a long day travelling as it was just along the road from our accommodation. Great food, service and beer - what more could you want and all at a reasonable price. Big screens showing sport as well.

I’m almost afraid to leave this review in order to keep the secret but... this place is one of the best brunches in town. Hands down. Prohibition is often the answer after seeing a long line at some other trendy spot and then remembering to skip it and go to this go-to. It’s also home to one of the best sandwiches in town: the house pastrami. Which can also be found for brunch in the pastrami hash. On top of that, this is a great sports bar. I’m not a big typical sports bar fan even though I love sports. This is the perfect combo of great food, good cocktails and they’ll have my game on.

Came here with a few coworkers for happy hour on Taco Tuesday. We tried most food items on the happy hour menu, we loved everything! The brussel sprouts with bacon and pecans were and polenta were unexpected hits! The tacos were a little small, but we had so much food, it didn't matter too much. $5 margs were another plus. Great atmosphere. Good service.
