Loved it! Had a good experience on a Tuesday night. Trivia was going on, couldn’t participate but it was fun to listen and guess.
Absolutely awesome service and food taste.
Great visit while taking a break from a long work day. Service was quick, friendly and inviting. Food was excellent! I had the Mediterranean chicken sandwich. I will be back again.
Had a wonderful trip for my work conference and this bar adopted us. The staff Sarah and Shane were very accommodating and made us feel welcome. We came back each night and Wednesday nights are karaoke! Cute winter holiday pop up theme starting in November. Their holiday menu had s’mores! So cool and tasty!

Service was spectacular. The wait for food was pretty long, granted we were there for lunch on a Sunday. The food we ordered was OK. One item came to us incorrectly and had to be sent back. The chicken fingers my son got were very lightly breaded, you can see the video, I wouldn’t necessarily call them “fried” chicken tenders in this instance. The burgers were probably the best things we got. Mac and cheese tastes like a buttered pasted with a little cheese on top, which I’m not mad at. It was one of the better things we got. And my wrap was just sort of mid. Best thing on the menu for this trip was the peach lemonade for sure. Would into here again with my kids? Probably not. I guess they are not their targeted demographic.

I had the vegan double cheese burger and as a vegan I could use This meal to make fun of my fellas. (Also has hummus and edamame dumplings that were OK but not amazing for a 14$ meal)
The burger was super dry, not really good and the friend that brought me also Said that it wasn’t like this before.
So apparently the quality has dropped.
I don’t recommend and won’t come back.
(The staff is nice tho - amazing service)

We have been Tru Food Fans for a while now. However their 2024 Fall menu is great! The edamame dumplings are out of this world. If you go, ask for Jackie she is an outstanding server.

Really used to love this place the past couple months the food has gone down tremendously in quality. If you order to go they give you cold food that looks like leftovers from a refrigerator. I’m going to attach photos to prove my point .. please get better because this restaurant was so good it seems like when the manager is not there the employees slack off in service and quality of food. Attached below is a photo of edamame dumplings that have zero soup and came to us stiff and cold.

True Food at Avalon is an amazing dining choice if you are looking for satisfying, health conscious dining options just seconds away from premium shopping. I come here often, and the edamame dumplings as a starter are an absolute must - they are one of my favorite dishes of all time! I also really enjoy the seasonal ancient grain bowl which I particular enjoyed with additional of a grilled flank steak (medallions). Kesha is a phenomenal server and took great care of me during my visit - be sure to request her if you come! The patio is also a really nice option if you want to sit outside in the cooler months!

True Kitchen Food is right at the corner of Avalon and walkable from the parking.

Amazing ambiance. Great entrees selection. Nice music. Well, it's a lit comfy setting. Yes, they do have outside seats for sunny bright days.

The window side seat gives a glance to Avalon Street with relaxing people.

Ordered starters Edemame Dumplings , Ancient grains salad, Mediterranean wrap and Coconut Tea. Delicious, yummy , fresh food with the right temperature for rainy evening.

Great service. Thank you to Madison , very knowledgeable, know food and ingredients and helpful. Appreciate to wait with you.

P.s. It is one of those restaurants where you enter, and you just know you are in for tasty health comforting food.

True Food Kitchen offers a delightful dining experience with outstanding service, particularly from Jackie, who made the evening even more enjoyable. The Edamame Dumplings were phenomenal, bursting with flavor, while the Turkey Burger was a smash hit, perfectly cooked and satisfying. A side of macaroni and cheese, unfortunately, missed the mark, lacking the expected cheesy richness and flavor.

We had the pleasure of previewing the new Spaghetti Squash with Chicken, set to be available on September 18. The addition of chicken brought the dish to life, adding much-needed substance and making it truly pop. The Wild Tuna Poke Bowl was another standout, featuring a delicious wasabi cream sauce and just the right amount of jalapeños for a bit of a kick.

Despite the tempting dessert menu, we were so wonderfully full from our meal that we decided to skip it this time. True Food Kitchen left such a positive impression that we will definitely be returning.

Stopped by for a quick bite and was pleasantly surprised. The short rib empanadas were delicious. The black garlic shrimp amazing. The only bad thing was I got full too fast wish I could have tried more items off the menu. Definitely stopping by if I’m ever in Alpharetta again!

Cool dinner spot in beautiful downtown. Service is excellent. I had the duck fries, peppers, and shrimp avocado toast. They were great, the Duck fries were outstanding, I had pork tenderloin for dinner, it was very well seasoned, and It had great flavor. The side was deep-fried mashed potatoes stuffed peppers. It was 10 out of 10. The only negative is that the waitress brought the bill, and when we asked for dessert, we were informed the "dessert gir"l had left, and they couldn't serve dessert. If it was close to closing before she brought the check, she should have asked us if we wanted dessert.
Great place to get some unique & tasty food. The pimento cheese fritters as the appetizer are out of this world. We highly recommend those. Our entrees were the fried chicken and the short rib. Both had a nice presentation and sides. We added a side of scalloped potatoes which were delicious. The atmosphere in the exterior dining area was great. It was very relaxing with good views. The service was very attentive. We will definitely return.

We made an early dinner reservation for a Friday evening and had an exceptional first experience. We parked in the free deck adjacent to the restaurant and were seated immediately upon arrival.

Our server, Cameryn, was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and down-to-earth.

The cocktails were expertly crafted and delicious, setting the stage for an equally impressive dinner. We tried a variety of dishes: duck confit, burger, shishito peppers, empanadas, duck fries, and salmon. Each one was a hit with our group. Finishing with the toffee bread pudding really ended things on a high note.

Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and we look forward to returning soon.

We came here for a birthday and had a good time. Solid drinks and food. The staff were all friendly and accommodating.

Drinks:
I got the Citizen Mule which was really good. Few friends got the Old Fashioned and Granny's Peach Tea. Only qualm is he said the Peach Tea was more like a spiked lemonade with no peach flavor.

Food:
Apps - - We ordered the Short Rib Empanadas, Brussel Sprouts, Burrata, French Fries and Fried Okra. I'm not a fan of okra, but this was pretty good. The Burrata most didn't really like. The Fries weren't really anything crazy. The Empanadas and the Brussel Sprouts were very good. If I had to choose one, I'd go with the Empanadas.

Mains - - I ordered the Salmon and the Scalloped Potatoes. The Salmon is really good overall as a dish. It's a good amount of creamed corn which could get "tiring" after a bit, but the flavors were excellent. The Scalloped Potatoes were very good and I recommend that. I may try a different main next time, not because the Salmon was bad, but to see if there's something I may like more. A couple others ordered the Black Garlic Shrimp and the Short Ribs and really liked them.

Dessert:
We just got some beignets. They were good but it was not anything amazing. It was probably a bit overdone and dry.

Staff and Ambiance:
No complaints here. Everyone was friendly accommodating, and informative. The seats and tables are comfortable and not where you're elbox to elbow with others at the table or even with neighboring parties.

Overall:
Despite the fact I had some relatively subjective and minor reservations about the food, we really enjoyed the food and staff overall. We'll probably come here again when in Alpharetta or for another birthday.

So so good! My husband is gluten free and I’m more seafood focused lately and we both had amazing dinners. The black garlic shrimp was AMAZING and my husband had the salmon- so good. Get the scalloped potatoes! Do it! So good. We are super foodie and used to Buckhead and midtown dinners- outside of one other amazing dinner- this could be the BEST date night dinner we’ve had in 2 years! So so good!

The food was delicious and much larger portions than most restaurants these days. We ordered the chicken tenders, lasagna, kale salad, and cauliflower and loved every dish. Our server was very friendly and all of the food came out very quickly! Will definitely return.
The Sunday Brunch fare has an excellent selection of reimagined breakfast classics- the BLT-A is a perfect balance between a breakfast sandwich and BLT. The food is delicious, my only critique is that the mimosa carafe is advertised to have a “whole bottle of house champagne”. In reality, the carafe is only enough for 2-3 people and too small to contain nearly that much.

The food here is fantastic. It is a tavern so I didn't go in with high expectations but did they prove me wrong. I had the meat loaf with mashed potatoes and green beans. My co worker had the short rib & mashed potatoes my other coworker had the grilled chicken green beans and mashed potatoes. We also had the warm butter cake. Talk about a get in my belly experience!!! I will most definitely be back.

My boyfriend and I came here to just grab a quiet dinner and ended up having an amazing night. Everyone here is so kind, attentive, and genuinely just cares about you as a customer. Hannah was our server and was absolutely amazing, funny and sweet and attentive if we needed anything! Yndia was also so fun to talk to when she brought our food out. Even the chef Jose and the manager Lena were kind to us. ABSOLUTELY come here if you want to have a great time and be taken care of and just have a relaxing meal!

We have been going to Outback for several years now and always sit at the bar. We been having really great service from the bartender Andrew. Andrew is friendly, helpful and always makes sure our visit is flawless. He always makes sure our experience is without any issues and our food is prepared the way we like it. Great job Andrew.
We stopped in for drinks just before closing. Tori was all aces in both service and mixology. Relaxed atmosphere and a friendly (tipsy?) crowd.
“The service was incredibly good, and the food was also great.”
This is a go to recommendation of ours for anyone eating in Alpharetta! Coming from NYC I’ve struggled to find quality spots until coming across South Main Kitchen. I have also hosted a few events here on their back patio deck with a bar and passed apps and it wows everyone each time. Service and staff go above and beyond!
We booked an event on the roof top deck and South Main Kitchen did an amazing job hosting. The roof top deck easily accommodated over 40 people, and the views were amazing (and the weather was on our side). We were able to decorate the space, which turned out great. Our point of contact, Katelyn, worked with us endlessly to ensure our party details were perfect! The appetizers and cocktails did not disappoint either, delicious - LOVED the bacon deviled eggs! Thank you! Thank you!

We had a wonderful meal Wednesday at South Main Kitchen. We met the new owner and were so impressed with him and all the efforts he has put into the restaurant. We had the Pesto Pasta and it was fantastic. Our server was excellent. She was very friendly and attentive. South Main Kitchen is now on our list of favorite Alpharetta restaurants. We look forward to our next trip there.

Got the mushroom Swiss burger and pimiento cheese dip. The burger had less than a tbsp of mayo, 3 full slices of tomatoes(??), and I got it medium but it was dry on the outside and very rare on the inside...

The cheese dip wasn't fully melted and the tortilla chips were from a bag + slightly stale.

The waitress was super sweet and accommodating and offered us recommendations as well.

They offer happy hour but only if you're in the lounge or patio ... Not for regular seating....

Overall too expensive for the quality of the food but the staff are kind and helpful.

This was my wife's and I first time here. Not sure what I was expecting but with Tavern in the name, I was thinking peanut shells on the floor. Nope! It was beautifully decorated inside. We went on a Saturday around 5ish so it was not too crowded and got seated with no reservations.

Went back another time. Still great service. This time I had the Ruben sandwich which was great. Went for the sweet potato fries but they had some sugar coating that was not so great.

Our waitresses was very nice and repeated our order which was an added bonus.

I had a Ceasar salad which was not drenched in dressing. It had the perfect amount.

Then our mains came out. I had the Prime Rib. It was perfect. Some places you get a 14oz prime that is 10oz of fat, not thos place. Perfect amount of marbling. Only complaint was the horseradish didn't really have any bite to it, but that is ok.

The Village Tavern is definitely added to our rotation of places to go.

My wife had a burger that she said was good. Some places she gets a burger from and they are no better than Wendy's but this, she said was really good.

The only reason I dropped lower in atmosphere was because we were seated next to the kitchen. I would say if you are going to have a discussion, move to an location not next to where people are sitting. Didn't bother me but some might have an issue.

Though such a glamorous appearing tavern, I was most disappointed with the food I was served. I don’t believe it was because we came to visit during lunch time and perhaps the food was rushed to be served. It is evident that going here for the experience and maybe drinking are the only thing you may want to come here for, definitely not the food. The pictures appeared very appetizing, but the actual flavor does not reflect it at all. It could just be the options we chose but they all definitely did not meet our expectations.

Grilled Chicken Teriyaki 1/5 – I have never been served teriyaki with grilled bell peppers like this and I did not find it any helpful in adding flavor to this dish. I don’t know if it is some modern twist on teriyaki, but it is a culinary failure. Apart from an underwhelming taste from the teriyaki sauce, the chicken was bland and did not take in any flavor from the already poorly made sauce. The portion size was really shocking, as I would barely have considered that a meal. Though everyone’s appetite differs, this portion size was excessively small. Even fancy restaurants nearby serve more than this.

Grilled Meatloaf Dinner 2/5 – This dish almost passes as decent. If only the meat and potatoes both had more salt and flavor, it could actually make for a delicious dish. Adding a wine to the mushroom sauce or derivating it from a beef broth would have elevated this dish as well.

Wings 1/5 – Nothing special. Your average low-quality wings that did not even have a good taste. Same ones you can get for much cheaper elsewhere. Really quite disappointing.

Another fabulous Easter meal at South Main kitchen. We had a last-minute change in our reservation and they seated us early early with no issues. They were very busy. Food was top quality. Bacon was crispy as requested. A manager stopped by and checked on our meal. This is why we keep coming back here high-quality food and high-quality service!
Everything was wonderful tonight! The hostess was very nice and sat us right away, the food was amazing and came out right away and the waiter, Chris Peterson, did a fantastic job! He was very very nice, so personable and very professional the entire night! From start to finish, everything was wonderful (we had drinks, appetizers, main meal and dessert) and the food was great in every way...fast to our table very well seasoned and cooked perfectly)! Will highly recommend to all of our friends to come!!
Absolutely thrilled with our dining experience! From the moment we stepped in, the service was impeccable. A special shout-out to Andrew, our server, who went above and beyond to ensure our lunch was perfect. Not only was Andrew attentive and knowledgeable, but his recommendations were spot-on, enhancing our dining experience. The food itself was a delight—every dish was prepared to perfection. The atmosphere of the place added to the charm, making our meal even more enjoyable. Definitely a five-star experience—can't wait to return!

My host Alex, yes he treated me as if I were a guest at his home and not in very busy restaurant. Even though he had a busy night I observed him and I must say he took care of all of his guest with care. None of us had to get his attention to ask for anything from him, he was on point checking in on everyone making sure we all were OK. One of his tables had a crying baby and that didn't even cause any problems with how Alex serviced is guest. Alex you are a very welcoming host and I thank you for your hospitality. This restaurant is lucky to have you.
Wow! So glad we decided to finally try this place! We had Brussel sprouts for our appetizer. Our meal was burger and fries; prime rib with au jus, fries and green beans. For dessert we had butter cake and carrot cake! Tikisha was the best! Will definitely ask for her again. The environment was dim and calm! I wish we lived closer.

I have not been to an outback in a while but dang it’s gone down hill.
The broccoli over overcooked by an hour or so, pure mush. You would get more fries in a kids happy meal but the steak was OK, not great just OK.
Used to love Outback.. another sinking ship.
We went here after traveling on a Friday evening so we didn't have a reservation since it was a last minute decision. We had a little wait but it was worth it. The food was delicious. Even my tired and cranky kids enjoyed it. The portions are a nice size. The drinks are great. The atmosphere was really nice. Our waitress was very knowledgeable. I enjoyed the entire experience.

We had a fabulous evening for NYE at Oak. We arrived early and were seated at out reservation time with Sam. The bar was full but has a great fun atmosphere. We brought our empty stomachs and were not disappointed. To start we had the pork belly, scallops and oysters Rockefeller. The oysters were fresh hot, tender and well garnish. It was definitely the best I've had in YEARS. They featured an extravagant crab stuffed lobster to ring in the new year and it was huge. The tail was from my wrist to my elbow. The brussel Sprouts are definitely something we have to get again along with the glazed corn bread. For dessert I had a little room left to squeeze in a bit of the chocolate cake and my boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed the limited baked Alaska. We can't wait to come back!
I had my first dinner here tonight for my birthday. Walking in, you smell the wood smoke, bar looks amazing, and the cooking line is visible to the public. The atmosphere is great. Typical steak house vibe with wood, stone, and dim lighting. The restaurant looks too notch.

Food is good. We had deviled eggs to start and it was fun and surprising tasty. Hot sauces were a nice addition with the candied bacon. My wife had the lobster fondue salmon and it won the night over my ribeye. He fish was cooked perfect and the whole meal was great. My ribeye was good but missing seasoning. I added thyme butter and that was a nice addition but still lacked salt and pepper.

I would come back to this restaurant for sure but next time tell them to increase the seasoning in the steak and if did a better side that the gratin potatoes.
I went for a birthday brunch. The food was delicious. I loved the atmosphere and the smoky aromas filling the air. I can’t wait to go again.
Tikisha was the best ever. Make sure to ask for her! Nice, cozy atmosphere with a home feeling. We sat by the fireplace it was wonderful. We will be back for sure. Our 1st time here. We got delicious burgers, fries, flat bread pizza, and best wedge salad.

My first time being at Outback steak house was a good experience. Got a free bloomin onion since I signed up on the app but it was very salty but hey, can’t complain too much when it’s free. I also ordered a steak medium rare and it was actually cooked very nicely. Service was good and the inside of the place really felt like a steakhouse. Overall a good experience and will come back again if I ever want a nice steak.

Excellent Steakhouse in the Avalon. Great atmosphere, service and food. The staff is very accommodating and create a comfortable environment. The steaks are cooked to perfection and the sides are fabulous. We had a starter of the pork belly which was done very well. It is real pork belly, not bacon so understand that before ordering. We had the Brussel sprouts and cauliflower as a side plus the tuffle fries. My steak was the 14oz ribeye and it was fantastic. Paired it with Malbec which was complimentary. Highly recommend this restaurant when you want a nice night out.
Nice place for dinner. I went with some peers from work and we decided to eat on the patio since the weather was good. All of us enjoyed our food and drinks very much. It was all of our first time going there and we surely would enjoy going again. Service was average but good.

Nice people, great service. Wagyu was perfectly cooked and quite delicious, Mashed potatoes were good, Mac n cheese was creamy but bland, 12 oz filet was undercooked, sent back and still returned with half of it in essentially the same state, Vanilla Creme Brule was not very vanilla, and honestly not that good.

There is definitely a lot of nice restaurants in downtown Alpharetta, but I feel this one sticks out the most with their unique menu, 90% gluten-free options and a great wine selection. I’m a big fan of their short rib I strongly suggest trying their empanadas if you haven’t tried them already. This place is also great for a date, service and atmosphere are superb. Definitely look forward to dining again.

My actual rating is 3.5/5

I went to the village tavern with my family on Friday for dinner and liked the ambiance. It was brimming with people and looked like a good place for family or date nights.

Here is the summary of my experience there:

Ambiance: 5/5: I really like the decor and atmosphere. It gave a posh vibe where you can take your family and dates for a romantic dinner.

Service: 4/5: The service was good and the servers were delightful. I saw they amicably solve a slight bickering with a customer without disturbing other customers. The only problem I felt was that bread was not served unless we asked for it. I also liked the fact that they did split my food into two and brought it when we asked for it.

Food 3/5: This rating is based on my first-time experience and might change in the future. Here is the summary of the food I had:

1. Brick chicken: The chicken was undercooked and difficult to slice through. Also, I did not feel it was crisp as the menu said. The garlic mashed potato was a good side to it. Also, it was pricy for the portion. You can share it with 2 people if you are mildly hungry but I would suggest a complete order for yourself if you are really hungry.

2. The fries which were served were soggy. My golden standard for fries is McDonald's fries which I love and these were not at par with it.

Additionally, I felt the menu did not have a lot of chicken-only items. Anything that had chicken in it was also accompanied by either bacon or beef. It would be great if I can order chicken-only items in the main course as well.

Value for Money 3/5: I felt the place is pricey and on the heavier side of the pocket. I would not go here if you want to have a quick dinner or lunch but will recommend if you want to have an exquisite lunch with friends or your special one

Overall the food was okay but the ambiance and service were good. I would love to visit again if they can add some more chicken-only/ Vegetarian items.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Firebirds Wood Fired Grill, and the experience left me thoroughly impressed. The star of the evening was the sea bass meal I ordered. It was absolutely divine—cooked to perfection, tender, and bursting with flavor. The delicate balance of spices and the wood-fired preparation method made it a truly unforgettable dish.

But it wasn't just the exceptional food that made the night outstanding; the customer service was equally remarkable. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. They went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was top-notch, offering great recommendations and catering to our needs.

What truly sets Firebirds apart is the upscale and welcoming environment they've created. The ambience is sophisticated yet comfortable, making it the ideal setting for a special occasion or a memorable night out. From the moment you walk in, you're met with a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the stage for an extraordinary meal.

In summary, Firebirds Wood Fired Grill exceeded my expectations on every front. The sea bass meal was exceptional, the customer service was second to none, and the restaurant's upscale and welcoming environment made the entire experience outstanding. I can't wait to return to explore more of their menu and savor another memorable evening."

Spend the evening with colleagues and customers for a nice group dinner. We had a fixed but extensive menu. The appetizers consisted of a smorgasbord of cheeses, salami, incredibly tasteful strawberries, bruschetta, as well as mini crabcakes. After this I ordered panseared scallops, followed by a salad, and as main course a filet mignon. The service was impeccable. The waiter was extremely attentive, and very professional. What a great evening. I also have to call out the valet service. the guy was super friendly. Will definitely come back here. Great place to visit with customers.
Firebirds Wood Grill offers a truly charming atmosphere that sets the stage for a memorable dining experience. The managers here are exceptionally attentive, adding a personal touch to your visit.

We decided to indulge in steak and lobster, and while the steak was superb, there was a minor issue with the lobster. However, the standout moment was when we approached a manager to address the situation. Their response was reassuring, and we left with the hope that the issue will be resolved by our next visit.

As we were leaving, we couldn't help but notice the flowers in front of the restaurant, which appeared a little pale and in need of water. Fortunately, one of the managers was nearby, and we brought this to their attention. What truly stood out was witnessing that same manager, who I had spoken with earlier, taking the time to water the plants before we drove away. It was a beautiful display of their commitment to ensuring a delightful dining environment.

Wonderful location in downtown Alpharetta for a weekend night dinner and drinks.
Things you should know:
I. PARKING
There's a free, public parking garage nearby for the entire downtown area. Your car will be safe there and the walk is brief to Citizen Soul.
II. SERVICE
Our waiter was kind and accommodating. He never let our glasses run dry and he was a pool of knowledge about the dishes we ordered.
III. QUALITY
Not one part of the meal disappointed! Presentation, taste, pairings... all appealing and well thought out. I highly recommend the crispy brussel sprouts as an appetizer. So delicious..!
IV. CAPACITY
We made a reservation rather last minute (the day before) and they still managed to squeeze us into their busy weekend schedule. All being said, reservations are best to guarantee a table placement with larger parties (4+). I observed walk-ins are doable for small parties of 2. The restaurant was not at complete capacity when we arrived
If you want cold beer and American style upscale bar food, this is a great spot! The beer is super cold on draft and they also have a full bar if you prefer liquor. The food is really yummy, and the menu is expansive! From burgers to sandwiches to steak to fish. They have a good variety for all different food moods! I got the Reuben with truffle fries which was super yum!! My boyfriend got the Southwest burger and the beef patties tasted really fresh! Both entrees were super good, and we both said we’d get the again! We got garlic parm wings for an app and they were cooked to perfection. The garlic parm wasn’t wet, which is our preference, but the actual wings themselves were super delicious and fried just perfectly. This is a really good casual spot, with both inside and outside seating. Good spot to try if you’re at the Halcyon!!
The ahi tuna salad was fantastic. Tuna was done just right--seared on the outside and very tender. Highly recommend.

The service was good, and the atmosphere was good. Only one little complaint--the hallway to the bathroom and the bathroom have super sticky floors.

Absolutely phenomenal.
We had a 730pm reservation, which I mistakenly made for outdoor area. The host (forgot his name - Shuntae (?? - I'm certain that is not the correct spelling, my apologies) was able to fit us indoors, which we were enormously grateful for.
Our server, Bobby, was helpful, knowledgeable about menu items, attentive despite the dinner rush, and all around a wonderful person . I didn't catch the names of the other people who helped bring drinks and food throughout the night, whom were equally as gracious and easy going.
The food....Steaks were perfectly cooked. Brussel Sprouts & Cauliflower were tangy and crispy. Mashed potatoes were creamy. Oysters Rockefeller were just as delicious as I remembered them to be from their Raleigh location. They also have a fluffy bread service.
We also had champagne and a Smoke in the Water, which had a lovely smoky taste to it.
We had no room left for dessert; however, the couple next to us had this delicious looking carrot cake and some sort of lemon/lime tart that I may save room for on my next visit.
Just like the Raleigh location, as you leave, the host offers you a baked good to take home.
Valet is complimentary, not including tip of course, and they use a text system that allows you to call your car from the table for it to be ready when you walk outside. Thought that was neat.

I highly recommend Oak Steakhouse. The only other thing I would add is that it was a little on the warm side in the restaurant, though nothing too crazy.

Hoep you found this helpful. Try for yourself.

My boyfriend and I visited on a Wednesday night without reservations around 8pm. They graciously seated us. The staff was warm and highly professional. The ambience was romantic and soothing. I had the burger which was huge. It included 3 cuts of meat. It came with a heaping serving of truffle fries. You won’t be disappointed in the size of the burger. The Only issue is that I clarified how I wanted it cooked and what I wanted it to look like. The server confirmed I wanted medium well at the time of placing my order. It was served to me medium. The server was apologetic and offered to remake it but I had already begun eating it. My boyfriend chose the seared chicken dish. He said it was delicious. We had scallops for our appetizer and a salad. The food was well prepared and taste exceptionally clean. We will definitely be returning. Will probably make reservations next time. Please Enjoy the pics. Sorry I forgot to take a pic of the salad and scallops. I will update with pics I if I order them again. Hope this review is helpful.

My wagyu steak was cooked to perfection! It was well seasoned and melted in my mouth as wagyu is supposed to. The collard greens were much to be desired. I wish they would have trimmed the stems more and seasoned the greens, and some salt would've been helpful.

Service was cool, and because I sat outside, the ambiance was great for people watching. I will return for the steak but definitely a different side dish.
Seated quickly for lunch. Our small party of 2 sat at an outdoor table for 15 mins with multiple staff walking by us. We requested service and the server quickly came claiming that they were not aware of our table being seated. Ordered fried green tomatoes for appetizer - was good. Ordered a salad with a side of chicken for entree. Halfway through the meal I found a piece of hair in the chicken. The manager quickly came out and offered replacement and comp of the impacted meal.

Fabulous. If you’re thinking of another steakhouse on Old Milton or State Bridge in Alpharetta (same road) just don’t waste your time. This is the place to go. Romantic, family friendly for kids with manners, business dinner spot. Surprisingly, was my first time. Family in town special people together 4 adults, a minor, and an adult kid. Everybody loved everything they had. Most had steak, some fish, and some salad. Everything was great. Service was awesome and attentive. Cocktails and wine selection were great. You know obviously they’ve had some great reviews in the past as a staple and at Avalon, but clearly they never let it get to their head. They treat their guests with respect from the hostess when you enter and even before that confirming reservations earlier in the day, the main waiter, and the staff. Highly recommend. The food is awesome, but the staff is too. Obviously great ambience as well for a perk.
We were at the Halcyon for Ladies Night Out and decided to go to HobNob Neighborhood Tavern for dinner. They had a $10 special on Rum Runners for the tropical themed event. They were really delicious and packed a punch. The empty bowl pictured was the Buffalo chicken dip which came with homemade chips, carrots, and celery. It was a nice app to start. For the entrees we had the Mother Earth bowl, Salmon tacos, and Short rib melt. All dishes were great. The short rib melt was a little salty but still good. I ordered the key lime pie for dessert but they were out. Overall it was a great experience and the service was awesome!
The restaurant is beautiful, I only wish the food and service were better. It was the server's first day and at some point she never came back to our table and they gave us another server. The hamburger was well done when my son asked for medium rare. The greens on my salad were terribly overdressed. The dip was exceptional. We would have sent the entrees back but the server never came back to the table.

Good food, even better service! The honey butter chicken I got was a bit raw in the middle, and the manager was super sincere about the issue as he cut the cost of two appetizers and a desert for us. In general, the steaks were really well flavored, as well as the chicken. Pasta was quite heavy but tasty nonetheless. Tater tots were nice and crisp, but don’t get them if you aren’t a fan of salty foods. The creme brûlée cheesecake was also really good!

Regardless, the food was good, but the service was really sincere and kind ☺️

Very nice ambience! Love the size of the restaurant and the bar/tables layout. Beautiful fireplace too! Nice selection of food. The salmon and fish and chips had a little to be desired. Not very flavorful unfortunately. The French onion soup was good, the salad quite nice. I may come back and give it another try. Service was very slow and it wasn’t busy.
Ate upstairs and bar tenders are nice. Had the burger and wife had the salmon. Both meals were good. Also got wings as the app but they came out with our meals. Wings were cooked correctly. They were tender and the hot was not to spicy or salty and the lemon pepper tasted good. Also got a flight of old Forrester bourbon 😁
