Best burger I’ve ever had! The meat was cooked to perfection and the bun toasted just right. I asked for extra pickles and of course, add the bacon! The owners are there working every day and they treat you like long time friends. So happy I found my new burger joint.
Very good burger, excellent service. We showed up with a big group of adults and toddlers, and the owner was very helpful in seating us and bringing baby seats and booster seats.
In addition to being very tasty, the burgers were also very well constructed. Not a single ingredient dropped out of burger while eating.

I had the spicy chicken sandwich with fries and ranch. The sandwich was a medium spicy and the fries were on the done side but in a yummy crunchy way. Also DON'T SKIP THE RANCH! It's amazing and herby.
The person taking my order was super friendly, and when I told him the lemonade was out of syrup he immediately replaced it.
It wasn't very busy, so when I finished my sandwich the person who took my order came to ask me (by name, he remembered) how everything was tasting. Turns out he was the owner and we had a delightful conversation about spice and ranch.
When I was done, he genuinely requested my feedback and I really respect that, so I tried hard to come up with something. All I could think of was a minor correction on some signage - the food, atmosphere and service were perfect!

I thought these burgers were great, fresh and flavorful! And the onion rings were so good! It was nice they offers gluten free buns too.
I'm too old to be eating tasty greasy burgers so I had their Impossible Burger and a non dairy vanilla shake. Both were great! PLUS I watched the Super Bowl on their TV! Though the Lounge is located on a prime corner in prosperous LaJolla the prices are reasonable.
Wow, I think we just found our new burger spot! The classic burgers here are incredibly flavorful and delicious. The fries are also super fresh and crispy. Perez helped us and his customer service was excellent! We will definitely be returning soon. Thank you!!!
Really delicious food. Their sauces are great. I tried the ranch and the super spicy one. The spicy one wasn't really spicy but still very tasty.

Most amazing burger I’ve had in San Diego! Super underrated spot. This is how a smash burger should taste. I’ve been to a lot of highly rated burger joints that recently have gotten a lot of social media hype. None of those burger joints come close to this spot. Highly recommend!
Ordered the Sicilian chicken grilled cheese. It was delicious! The environment was so clean and not too crowded. The staff member who helped us out Mario was so kind and helpful! Would recommend this place to anyone and everyone who loves cheesy and delicious food and amazing customer service.

I will never ever come to this place again. Now, it can be a preference, but the bacon bleu cheeseburger was horrible. Not to my taste but a 13-15 minute. Wait, mind you, there was 1 customer who already had his food. Yet my wife enjoyed the classic burger, so if you want a classic burger, go ahead, but for the wait, no, not worth it. All will never come here again as a preference worth a try for anyone to try it.
Came here on a whim and loved it! We came with a party of 6. Our food came out quickly and was delicious! Everyone loved what they ordered. We all really loved the tomato soup!
Tried out this new to me place and was very pleased. A little on the expensive side for smallish burgers, but they are delicious. The sweet potato fries are also great.
What a great place this is! It's so good, we went here 2 days in a row to try other menu items. The food is cheesy, fresh and delicious. It ain't easy being cheesy? Not for the melt it's not. They nail it every time. Their Mac&cheese - fuego!
Our 1st visit. Maybe our last. Unfortunately we live on the East Coast. However, the burgers were excellent. Got the classic and bacon blue burgers. Also had a large onion ring. Sodas were cike products which I like. We sat outside at a small round table, which was fine for 2 people. This location is on the corner of 2 streets, which was wonderful.

Order the Double Classic Burger with bacon and thank me later. I'd line this burger up with any of the top burger spots in SD. It's that good.
Shout out to Perez and his brother for opening up a fine establishment. Perez mentioned his background is in fine dining and it shows in the burgers quality. From the soft bun, perfectly cooked meat, melted cheese, fresh fries... everything is A1.

Great food, clean place with an A rating on the window & a great atmosphere. Our server Kim was very attentive without being over the top. Food came out quickly but I could tell it was made to order. Everything we ordered was great- we had a party of 6 and all ordered different meals- all were really good, I don't think you can go wrong with anything from the menu. My kiddo had the chicken strips and it was fresh chicken, not frozen- and my super picky kid ate all of the huge serving. If we lived in the area this would definitely be a regular spot for us. Would highly recommend!
Wonderful brewery with delicious draft options! I got a beer flight, highly recommend. Everything was delicious. Food was good, definitely elevated from bar food. I had the chicken cobb salad and my partner had the coordinates burger. I wish I could have taken a keg of the Oktoberfest and the stout home.

Sorry, I have to be honest. Giant let down about this place. Perfectly delightful patio and they don't allow dogs. I was so excited to have a few beers and have the Fish & Chips. I'll never come here again...well unless they get a new manager.
Overpriced and no service 🐕🦺 the waitress was more worried about her social life then serving me and my daughters. I spent all day at the beach and was just looking to cool down. We weren't even offered second refills on our beverages. I had to walk up to the bar just to ask for more ranch. Shameful. Don't work in the service industry if you don't want to serve.
My wife and I happened upon this place while on a late afternoon bike ride. It looked pretty full so we concerned about a wait, but they told us they would have a table ready in 5 minutes. We were seated in a great spot where we could keep an eye on our bicycle and the end of a beautiful sunset. Our waitress (Mercedes) helped us out with beer choices and checked on a couple of rotating drafts. We ordered some food when the beer came and enjoyed some conversation with Mercedes.Thr food fish n chips were delicious and we took our waitress 's suggestion for dessert. It was also good. I don't think we could have planned a better stop on our tandem bike for our anniversary dinner. This definitely a must try stop
we just passed by this restaurant and it tasted amazing and made our day great! the onion rings under the lamb shanks were the best we ever had. the battered shrimp was also crispy and fresh. the spicy pasta could have used a little more depth but the pasta sauce was great to go with the bread on the side
My mom and I were visiting the area from Florida. We came here for a quick bite. The guy at the counter was so friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious. The fries were probably some of the best fries I’ve ever had. Also I loved the black cherry soda! Definitely recommend

The burger 🍔 was flavorful but but pricy. I got the impossible MeltBurger and cookie-n-cream milkshake and paid $28 (I did ask for extra avocado but I guess what you see in the picture is "extra"). The milkshake was really good.

Food was very late. Missing drinks, ice cream, and chocolate milk. Over priced. Kids meal came as it is in the picture. Big bun tiny burger. The taste was not great for the price.never come back. Waste of money

Ordered the PH chicken sandwich with the grilled chicken tossed in buffalo sauce like they recommend on the menu. Very delicious and very filling. Could only eat half of the sandwich, saving the rest for later 😉
My family enjoyed several items off of the happy hour menu as well as the daily special which happened to be 1/2 price sliders. The southern chicken sliders were delicious. The potato skins were tasty as well. The garlic parm fries didn't come with any Parmesan. Our server was nice enough but could have been a bit more attentive. Overall, it was a decent meal for the happy hour prices.
We LOVED The Spot! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and our server was INCREDIBLE! Our family of four (6 & 15 year old kiddos) had an enjoyable evening dining at The Spot. We played a game of Trouble while waiting for our food. Our server was attentive and, offered recommendations, and accommodated our requests. We would highly recommend the fried fish tacos. The garlic bread was fantastic, too. Stop by The Spot and enjoy!
Nice burgers at the heart of La Jolla in San Diego, really close to the main street with a scenic view. The place is somewhat crammed very small if your group is larger than 4 or 5 people. Affordable for the zone.
Great location. Great food. Great service. The outdoor seating is best. Inside is a bit darker and louder. All of the food we had was really good. Some of the dishes were a bit more expensive, but you are paying for the location. I would eat here again to try more of the menu. The fish tacos and chicken fingers were flavorful. The onion rings were good as well.
First time trying The Melt. I ordered the patty melt with added mushrooms minus the spicy mustard. My bestie had the Sicilian. We split the meal and also got sweet potato fries. Paid $25
The patty melt was amazing! I loved it more than the chicken sandwich. I would love the patty melt on garlic bread also.

After an afternoon of puzzin' around in PB, we decided to grab something fast at Public House in La Jolla.This is a typical outdoor style bar. Plenty of seating and TV's for everyone to enjoy. I ordered the Australian Wagyu Hamburger and fries. My friend ordered the fish taco and onion rings.
Everything looked great when it arrived.
The bun on my hamburger was soaked and did not hold together at all. I ended up slicing my hamburger and eating with with a fork. I had ordered the hamburger cooked medium. Although it was medium it was a lot dryer than what I would have expected.
Fortunately I had grilled onions and mushroom added so it helped a little. The beer of course was great to wash it down.
The fries, onion rings and fish taco were great.
The service was good. Attentive staff and fast service.

My Husband and I visited The Spot on an early Sunday evening while visiting La Jolla, we actually had seen it in passing and when I was researching restaurants on Yelp later that day, The Spot came up with good reviews and had a good list of beer selections so we thought we'd give it a try! It did not disappoint! The Spot seems like a cool "spot" (pun intended) to catch a game as they had multiple TVs, plenty of seating, a decent sized bar and lots of long tables for larger groups. It gives off the "sports bar" vibes while maintaining a clean, relaxed environment. They offer a great selection of menu items, offering a good variety of something for everyone! We ordered the fried pickles as an appetizer, and I ordered the Beer Battered Fish & Chips as my entrée while my Husband ordered the Garbage Burger - both dishes were really good! I will say the portions are a decent size, especially if your dish comes with fries, so come hungry!
Ok, so I'm in town to see RHCP and walking by The Spot, who has the peppers blasting on the stero, so of course, that was my sign to go in and eat. Come to find out, the bartender and owner are going to the show tonight. They made us feel super welcome and really amped us up for the concert. The food was excellent, and the service was amazing!

The service was excellent, the watermelon margaritas delicious. While I initially thought the prices for appetizers was high, when they came out they were sizable and delicious and beautifully presented. Recommend.
