Shake Shack in general is delightful, but the teller was depressing. The food is typical quality and tasted great. My group enjoyed the food. The teller was not pleased with working and was outwardly showing it. The person that was packing up food and handing it to people had a great personality. I really want to give this place a higher rating, but I can understand why the rating is so low here.

RUDEST EMPLOYEE EVER - WANDA at Minneapolis Airort outlet. I am not surprised to see so many 1 star. If I had the option to choose zero stars. This Woman Wanda is so RUDE I don’t know how she got the job. Truly unprofessional. Shake Shack should invest more to train employees on basic etiquettes. After a miserable behavior she even had the nerve to criticize America as rude and talked over me.. All I did was politely spell my name for her, which is often misspelled, She said she doesn’t care how my name is spelt and kept on blabbering shenanigans. I don’t think America is rude, it’s people like her that are trying to tarnish the image. NEVER EVER COMING BACK TO THIS PLACE. I hope shake shack takes some action on this genuine review.

This is passable, quick food near my gate, but the employee who took my order outright lied to me about the sauce containing mayonnaise. I had to take my burger back to be remade, and the employee delivering orders argued with me. The replacement burger they prepared still had sauce. I am very lucky that my sensitivities aren't life-threatening. I got the vibe throughout my experience that they think anybody with special orders is just picky, or faking it.

This place was incredibly busy and it seemed like they did not have enough people working for the volume of orders that they were taking. a few of our items did come out not correct but overall the food was pretty good. I would recommend the smokehouse burger as it’s one of my favorite burgers to eat.

I haven't traveled out of terminal 1 for a long time. I got a Shack Burger for breakfast. They service the whole menu all day. The prices were average for the airport and customer service was great for my visit.

I should have read other comments before picking the place. 20 min for a burnt sausage. I didn't think it was possible to fail a hotdog. And pay 6 dollars for it. And get so badly welcome.
Not the best vitrine of American culture.

Only 10 minute wait to get my food including the time spent in line with 5 customers ahead of me. Process flows quite quickly at 5:15p on a Saturday. Burger was tasty, even if quite salty, and the construction/presentation wasn't bad either. Seating area accommodates about 25 people with outlets at every table against the wall. Adjacent food court provides lots of additional seating and outlets.

Had a double cheese burger. It was REALLY YUMMY!!! Unfortunately I dined in the Minneapolis Airport during the Shake Shack Crew's shift change. So there were a lot of workers just standing around while my double cheeseburger sat on the counter, out of reach, getting cold. It was torture! When I finally got my burger, it had cooled off, and I had to wolf it down since I was running late for my flight. BUT, it was still a darn good burger!!! I will return! :)

#1 An order of fries takes 11 minutes which is ridiculous!!
#2 There needs to be better training in CROSS CONTAMINATION!! The runner grabbed catchup packets from a huge open box under the counter and threw them on top of my fresh fries🤢!! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE it's a wonder soo many people keep getting sick.

These were really amazing burgers and fries. We sat and watched the planes come in while eating. Very good staff.

At Detroit Airport. First time for me at this place. Got a mushroom burger. Counter service did not promote any meal or anything else. Menu was way at beginning if line. Ended up with medi size burger and bottle of water. Could have been a better experience.

Wanda at this MSP airport location is an example who knows how to give quality customer service. The best customer service I have ever received at an airport restaurant. I got a burger and fries- very average.

Not a bad option for airport fast food

Fried chicken sandwiches and cheese fries with a beer did not disappoint

Lots of great drink optionals and solid service! The food isn't great. I would say skip food. Juicy Lucy wasn't very juicy, the fries were cold, and salad lacked flavor. Also, there is a 5 % service fee that doesn't go to the great servers. They really should just raise the prices to bless their solid servers.

Overall, skip food and grab a drink.

Unfriendly/rude/snotty male staff at the counter. Wouldn’t make us a shake because he said their wasn’t a staff member to do it even though they were not busy at all. Food was very slow to come up for only a 3 orders being on the prep screen while we waited. Boss man is lucky they have a captive audience inside of an airport where most people will probably not check reviews before dining. Food was decent quality.

Average atmosphere but if you like burgers, this is a solid option for airport food. I had the double barrel (fyi the special sauce is horseradish based) and it totally hit the spot. Their house made ketchup is heavy with garlic and is a nice addition with the fries. Overall I’d recommend it.

Worst burger, oily, avocado were microwaved to look like they are fresh. The buns were so oily I threw up the later in the bathroom.
I ordered double avocado burger no bacon, requested cheese instead they refused. Over priced (12.58$). I will never again go to smash burger. They charged me hospitality fee, which I didn’t consent for and they don’t tell you about ahead of time.

I call it food with a little racism served on the side I’m literally going to have to file a lawsuit management accused me of stealing and cooking food on the halal side when they literally use butter to cook the chicken shawarma 😂😂wtf is going on there ts so unbelievably dirty there if you guys have ate there I feel sorry for you and to the people that’s going to eat there don’t 🤮🤢look at these pictures and tell me what you think one of the pictures has mold right by the tomatoes they literally suck at cleaning up and they use old food and grey and stinky beef on your burgers that they take 20 minutes to cook one burger and they have a staff that steals money from customers by always charging them double sometimes even more for one old musty hamburger patty that’s been sitting underneath the grill all week I think the kkk owes this place 😂
.ps We all have to make a stand against racism and sexism and any other type of discrimination

Was supposed to be open at 4 am today. Arrived at 4:35 and was told that the kitchen wasn’t ready, and then the server almost walked away. I had to press for when it would be and she didn’t know and got annoyed. I asked her again and she went in back to ask and said they would be ready until 5:10.

During my recent layover, I stumbled upon a spot within the airport that almost transported me out of the terminal and into a genuine city bar, all thanks to its convincingly authentic ambiance. The beer menu was impressively diverse representing well what the region has to offer. Now, when it comes to food, I hate to be the bearer of less than glowing reviews, but the wings just weren’t to my palate. I've always been partial to split wings with tips removed, as they tend to cook more uniformly. The ones here, however, seemed to grapple with a dual identity of being simultaneously charred and under-seared. Moreover, the seasoning, though bold and robust, felt a bit too dominant for my liking. Lastly, a gentle piece of feedback for the staff: patrons typically prefer to determine tip percentages on their own. While I wouldn't necessarily write this place off for other travelers (airport dining can be a mixed bag, after all), I personally might venture elsewhere on my next pass-through.

This place is fantastic in the airport! Was needing some delicious food and cold beer, and Stone Arch did not disappoint. Also had a very friendly and energetic server! Marked it to come again next time we fly through.

As far as airport food goes this place was pretty good. It’s also pretty clean and the service is good. Better than whatever else you can find in the airport. Great Moscow mule. Kids didn’t complain about their sandwiches. Their cheese spread looked a little interesting though… we will probably be back soon as we fly through MSP often and it’s either sky lounge, Twins or here.. the lines can look long but it moves quick, you won’t wait for long.

One of the burst burgers I’ve had. A very clean burger that is not too heavy. Portion sizes were not extremely large (which I appreciate). I got the mushroom Swiss burger and it was very tasty and subbed my fries for some truffle fries. Fun fact: they home make their ketchup and it is VERY tasty. Would come back!

I waited for 25 minute 1 burger, French fries, coke and a cob salad. They gave my salad to somebody else and discussed with me saying that I didn't have a salad in my order. I finished helping them because they didn't have any idea were they left my order, at that time my burger was cold and the fries soggy. Please they need to be trained. They have not idea what are they doing.

Ordered the double barrel burger which was supposed to be the premium (award winning) option. The food took a long time to arrive, and my first question was "where's the beef?" It was supposed to be a double patty, but barely had enough meat for small single patty. Although tasty, it was overcooked and left me wanting more. It took forever to get the check, which was not an issue due to our long layover.

An incredible find in the Minneapolis airport. Superior craft beer list, great food. The cheese curds and the walleye sandwich make this a quintessential MN experience. Matt at the bar was sensational! Knows his local beers and will steer you to something you’ll love. Bucket list stop if you love craft beer.

Ordered my food but I did not get it till after 30mins I need to remind them twice, finally got it when I told them I want refund. Those ordered after me gotten their food way before me. My queue number is 586_ and the current queue who already gotten their food is 589_ when I finally got my food.

No good. My root beer float, ice cream was almost fully melted, cheesy fries is just fries comes with additional melted cheese to dip, Shack burger (cheese burger) is using the same type of melted cheese to dip cheesy fries... For cheese burger, I still prefer the normal slice cheese type.

Service was amazing, we had Hannah who was very friendly and checked in on us often even though it was quite busy. The cheese curds were amazing! My blonde ale chicken sandwich was very tasty as well but my hubby wasn't impressed by the sticky whiskey burger. It was expensive but that's what you expect in an airport ($104 for 1 app, 2 entrées, 1 beer and 2 glasses of wine). All in all, we would eat here again if we have another layover at MSP!

You wouldn’t think you’d look forward to eating in an airport, but dang this place is awesome! Over the last few years we’ve made a point to set aside time to eat at Stone Arch whenever we fly in or out of MSP. All of the food we’ve had has been delicious, a great combo of “typical” bar fare mashed with Midwestern staples. They also have a great variety of beers, I especially enjoy their sours. Last time we came I had their Bloody Mary, and it was epic! And their staff are top notch, too, greeting us right away, helping us decide what to order, and just supplying friendly conversation!
10/10 recommend!

Overcrowded airport lounge with a surprisingly tasty burger. I had a 2.5 wait for a 4 hour flight so knowing that and then an extra 45 late coming in delay. The Red Cow was closest to my gate for eats. I had their 60/40 bacon infusion burger with added crispy bacon topper. 🥓 This burger even had some edible vegetables of lettuce and tomato. It could have had a lityle more of their tasty sauce. I sat at the bar. The bartender was efficient and was on the kitchen for slow production as they were not timely for travelers as orders came out slooow. I was relaxed as I knew I had a ton of wait time and I enjoyed watching the other travelers, listening then participated in conversations when asked. Consensus is every political affiliation is corrupt and every politician is the worst group this country has ever been.

There are very few good restaurants at the airport and this place is very nice. It was packed so not sure if you will find space.

There is bar area for you to enjoy drink. Also you can sit outside as there are plenty of seats.

I tried out Tomato soup with cheese sandwich and it was amazing. However there are plenty of options if you can eat meat or fish.

Employees were great but the avocado burger is shown on the menu as having avocado slices but I received a spoonful of guacamole instead. Avocado slices and guacamole are not the same thing.

This Smashburger location is located in terminal one of the Minneapolis, St. Paul international Airport, between gates, C 12 and C 13. If you’re hungry, I recommend one of the other establishments as just getting a single hamburger, and french fries resulted in a half hour wait for the food to become ready. The food quality was OK though the french fries were pretty soggy and only semi-warm.

Solid burger. Had the double barrel. Smash patty. Well done is the only option they offer. Fries were frozen but seasoned well, hot,and fresh. Nice craft beer selection

I had a great experience at the St. Paul airport Smashburger! The service was fast, the nice lady that gave me my food smiled at me, it was clean, and the food was so delicious! I got the bacon burger, fries, and chocolate shake. The burger was so amazing! It was extremely flavorful. The bacon was crispy, the tomato fresh, and the sauces so perfect. I hope I have a layover at this airport again!

This is not the best Red Cow in rhe Minneapolis area, and the staff clearly doesn’t aspire to make it so either. The staff is friendly but it is very evident that they don’t see you as a potential repeat customer.
The beer menu apparently changes so often that they need to use small notes as a beer menu (which we found okay actually). The bar tender was unfriendly and decided not to answer any questions but refer to the waiting staff instead (he was playing with his phone).
The food is average at best even though we tried very simple dishes.
We will go to another Red Cow next time, and at the airport we will pick another option.

Tasty and fairly quick during light traffic at the counter. About 5-6 minutes (once ordered) with five orders ahead of mine. Two of the three ordering kiosks were out of service. So I needlessly waited almost as long to place an order as to receive it. The working kiosk was out of paper, so no receipt - problematic for some business travelers. $9.33 for a single-patty mushroom burger, sandwich only, no add-ons. Overly salty for my taste, but flavorful all the same. Not much to look at and not very big, but rather satisfying compared to most other fast food burgers these days. Nice beef patty with a crumbly, homemade sort of texture. No form-poured sponge-meat here, thankfully. In the end, I'd try it again, but there are other options to consider at MSP.

Update: another connection at MSP one month later showed two kiosks still out of order but receipt printing worked at the end of my order. Turnaround was about 6-8 minutes even with about 12 orders ahead of mine this time arriving at lunch hour. That's very good for planning on a short connection. For about $1 more than last time, I got the classic burger with two patties. This would be my standard choice on future visits. Super juicy, fresh quality toppings and tasty, still a bit too salty. Next time, I would try to request no added salt during cooking.

Overall, this is a good option when passing through. Quick and satisfying.
