The fish and chips are a sad state of affairs but everything else is great. Our team enjoyed a mid week sit down lunch, the staff were eager to take away our dishes but we had a good time.

I recently hosted a 50th birthday celebration at the Office Hotel Sports Bar, and it was an incredible experience. The manager and staff went above and beyond to ensure that our event ran smoothly, catering to our every need with genuine care.

The unlimited two-hour pizza service was phenomenal—everyone loved it! The pool bar area was perfect for our gathering, and the big screen TV allowed all our family and friends to enjoy the football while playing pool and darts.

I highly recommend the Office Hotel Sports Bar for any event. The combination of excellent service, great food, and a fun atmosphere made it a night to remember!

We wanted to go to this place since they heavily advertise that they are a place that shows the NRL. When we walked in, the place was near empty with the Moto GP racing on (that nobody was watching). We asked the bartenders if they could please put the NRL on and they said they couldn’t find the remote and would have to call the manager. We waited 15 minutes and the manager never showed so we left. You cannot have a pub in the heart of Sydney and not show the NRL or AFL. What was worse was these were two important games (GWS vs Swans and Doggies vs Cowboys). Big fail!

Good vibes, friendly staff. Literally, only downer was 2 out of 3 women's stalls are broken or clogged, but will definitely be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed having lunch together at the office pub. The company was fantastic, and the meals were exceptional, each bite bursting with flavor. The atmosphere and vibe here are simply wonderful, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed meal. The extensive menu offers a wide variety of options to suit every palate, which is why we find ourselves returning time and again. Additionally, the impressive selection of beers adds to the experience, making it a great place to unwind and enjoy good food and drinks.

A hidden gem located on Kent street a few minutes walk away from the Kent Street train station exit. Went in and got a classic, parmigiana and Mexicana. The chicken was nice an moist and nice thickness. The chips were nice and crunchy and the gravy was absolutely delicious! very flavourful. Great daily specials available. Customer service was very friendly and welcoming. Many seats indoors as well as along the outter perimeter. Would recommend reservations on a Friday.

Nice place to get a live coverage of major sport events, e.g. if you crave premier league, that's exactly what you can count on. Beer selection is decent, and if you're lucky enough, you might also manage to play a match or two of pool.

Security need some HR training. Accusing patrons of taking photos/video not cool when all they were doing was messaging wife they will be late. Never going back.

Sena is the most gorgeous women inside and out. She made my night go from a 2 to an amazing night. I highly recommend she is a sick c u next Tuesday

Never any staff on - be prepared to walk 5+ flights, barely any girl bathrooms!! such a shame.. oh and be careful to joke about it to the bar staff about bathrooms you’ll be asked to leave

Come here on any other night, except a Friday night. During the week: friendly ladies (albeit unclothed 🥱), chatty and helpful bar staff, and just the most tolerant security guards. Friday night: prepare to be lied to!

I like men, 'like more than a friend', so I don't come for the Painted Ladies. So when one bikini clad Hustler offers to bring you a drink from the bar, sees your loaded credit card, and asks if you have cash; pretty reasonable assumption is that the EFTPOS machine isn't working right now. Ahh, but no. She pockets your $50 note that was meant for your order, and snatches your card to buy your drinks. Adding insult to injury, she asks for another tip when she delivers your drinks, "cause of all this body"... Please, I've seen better legs on an oil rig!

I like this place, I like the staff who wear their clothes and their integrity on their sleeves, but trusting someone who sees you as so easy a mark that they feel comfortable exposing their vulnerabilities.... Bad Idea!

Worst service I have had, was called aggressive for expressing concern with my allergy, have traveled the world do not know how this place is operational. Disgusting.

We had a booking for 13 people and were given a table with 6 chairs… luckily when we arrived the table next to it was also free so we could have an appropriate amount of space.
We did go on a Saturday when the DJ was playing so unfortunately it was very hard to carry a conversation with anyone.
Pizza was good but like most pub food, slightly overpriced.

I went to Taylor's rooftop on a Thursday night. Nice venue with enough seating. A pity the music was too loud and you have to shout at each other.

I visited for Superbowl 58, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this bar if you want to watch sports. I will return.

Nice rooftop environment, friendly staff. More beers should be included in the happy hour, otherwise be prepared to pay $15 on a pint. Only Carlton and Hahn are included in the happy hour.

The cocktails were delicious! The customer service was amazing by all staff, friendly and efficient. We ordered chips and the chicken wings, both quick and delicious. Music and ambience was good, not too loud. We had perfect weather as it was a rooftop bar. I booked this venue because we have been there a few times and I liked the fact that I could book a table online as most venues were only accepting walk ins on Thursday due to the Australia Day long weekend. Overall, great venue!

I came with my wife for some happy hour drinks and pizza on Thursday. The republic pizza was delicious! Special thanks to the security who found us a table out the front while we waited inside with it being so busy.

Hadn't been here for years and it hardly seems to have changed. Which is fantastic. You rarely see this sort of bar nowadays. Great stop for a libation at the station before heading home. Busy, friendly atmosphere. Recommended.

Chicken parmi was amazing!! Great flavour to the red sauce, chips had peri salt on them and you can get a side of aioli - perfect!
They also have happy hour 4-6, and the kitchen is open all day from 12pm onwards (doesn’t close for late lunch like loads in the area)

Pub grub was okay and the service was pretty good but a bit slow, but the place was packed. If you’re up the on one of the open areas on a hot day take a little fan with you as it was really hot and the fans they had weren’t cutting it. Otherwise they had cool music and was a lot of fun

Interesting sports bar that shows a variety of sports, and has a good variety of dishes in their menu to suit most tastes. Relaxed atmosphere, good place to hang out & catch a game. +1 for having Guinness on tap. They get a very international crowd as well.

Really cool sports bar with large food selection, decent draft beers, a full bar, and lots of space. They have an inside area with an upstairs so you have plenty of room with friends.
They have a small outside area if you want some fresh air, big tvs, and very friendly staff. It's our first time in Australia and this place was a great start.

My first time coming here. The staff were rude and unwelcoming, always staring at you and just basically dismissive. The food was cold when we got it and the drinks were so expensive compared to other pubs and wasn’t even that good (used low grade alcohols). The bartenders seemed all over the place no routine. Although, this one security guard was the worst; no professionalism, very abusive behaviour and language, very angry (seemed like he was trying to hold back from hitting you when he talked to you) when dealing with customers. Got physical before communicating showing he didn’t know how to properly deal with a situation in a professional manner. Honestly, the atmosphere just felt stuffy and like a trap house. The staff members just didn’t seem like they cared or wanted to provide good customer service. Would definitely not go here again.

Modern typical sports bar, nice friendly staff and a happy hour with $5 schooners.
If you want food Satang Thai is part of the business serving great food.

Place is good, the pizza as well and they have Guiness beer. Only issue here its always is too busy and crowded dont go if would you like to stay chill out cause its too noisy and youll couldnt talk

Normally here was fine for bar area, but 'the Worst customer service' I ever had in VIP lounge. I went there 04/08 Friday night around 12am. The staff was super rude and also she didn't do her duty.

I came here with a group of friends recently for a quick lunch and a few of us had the pie. The pie was in a word, awful. For $24, the meat inside was too fatty and tasted like it was a few days old, and the pastry was overcooked. The food took 30 mins to arrive, which is fine given the lunch crowd but what was unacceptable was that afterwards everyone who had the pie had upset stomachs. The experience was horrific! It’s a great bar to go to if what you’re after is to watch sports and have a few drinks but I will not be ordering food here ever again.

Great place to watch live sports while having one meal. Just don't try to get in with high visibility not allowed. The food was pretty standard pub food nice and a good serving.

Not bad with heaps of different drinks on tap. Heaps of TVs with different sports but no sports volume (just music). Have to walk up heaps of stairs as the lift doesn't work. No real atmosphere to speak of.

My partner and I had so much fun last night dancers are beautiful and a nice mix of beautiful ladies, music was good bartenders nice and a special thanks to ruby 💗💗💗

V-bar pub those staff especially the manager name “SIA” in VIP LOUNGE are very racial & very rude don’t know what’s right-wrong.! Last night I was playing one of the poker machine one customer & two staff said the machine was on RESERVE! “I said it wasn’t on Reserve” Go & check the Cameras before you & your giving tip customer keep on accusing & abusing me.
So after checking all the cameras carefully I was rightful, Then staff & the manager no they were wrong without an apology turned their back trying to ignore me then walked away, I said excuse me miss you & the other staff own me an apology. instead of saying SORRY to me. “BUT NO Straight away said I was a loud voice that’s impossible WHY”.? & call security get my money out & kick me out of the venue. I will report this incident to the Headquarters. think twice before you go there not just lose your money you’ll lose your dignity as well it has happened to a lot of other customers already.

I paid an entrance ....for some rude girl staff.This is my first time visit here and I enjoy the show so much.However, at last I feel sad because that girl wear black dress shout to us!!! So we do nothing. We haven't talk with this girl before. So right now I'm so disappointed. You should be more respect another people much more.

Have come here a few times on my lunch break and it has never disappointed. Their chicken schnitzels are huge, well cooked and the food is served relatively quick.

Lots of indoor and outdoor seating, and a great place for a casual catch-up!

A sports bar / restaurant located at the concourse of Wynyard station. Reminds me of the old fashioned blue collar bars that exist in Canada and a nice place to come and watch a game or just hang around.

They have a lunch special of pizza and beer for $20 and it’s great value for money. The pizza was great and I really enjoyed it. Staff are nice and there are many screens around the place to sit and watch sports. We came here to watch rhe NHL game.

I will probably be back here before long. It’s a nice place to hang out for a beer and a pizza.

RIP OFF...180 dollars to enter the actual venue.

The security guard with mustache at the entrance was extremely rude.
Me and my mate wanted to play pokies and we both had more than $8k each to spend that night. We had zero alcohol and the seccy saw me driving and coming out of my car. Still, he didn't even ask for IDs and just rudely said to try another venue.

Upon asking him the reason for denying entry to the venue, he kept repeating the same words like a Robo: "I don't have to give you a reason."

You guys have a lot of competition around. If your staff treat people like this then you definitely will lose a lot of customers.
I would definitely never enter this place and will make sure my friends and family are aware of the attitude of that seccy.

It's all right for a quiet hang out and a few drinks and to watch some sports games on the screen.

But the same guard assigned at the door those times i was there, had a racist mouth. I will not say the racial slur to call that guard to respond with (in this review). For i don't want people that have experienced the same racial slur to see this here as retaliation and go in this club and cause trouble to the staff.

Come for lunch special at $17.50 with a soft drink.

Your bartenders only care about their ‘friends’ (locals) they flirt until they’re given money from them and don’t care about other people, people getting abused especially girls by older men and instead of resolving the situation we get compensated With drinks. The girls who work there play pokies with their friends during shifts and ignore the customers around them. It is an absolutely appalling atmosphere which deserves no recognition what so ever.

The place were cozy, great ambiance, a bit intense on their sound system but was a good one though. We ordered Rump steak Medium rare and Chicken wings in buffalo sauce however it came a bit longer than expected although it was not so busy! The steak served medium well though but the wings was perfectly fine. Good place to visit and we’ll definitely come back.

Used CHEWING GUM in the glass of wine!!!!!!!!

I went out almost vomiting.
I ordered wine and after I drunk more than half of it I found out that in my glass is someone's used CHEWING GUM!
Is so disgusting!!!!! I almost vomit I went to talk with bartenders they didn't even apologise, they didn't offer anything to compense it they just said “I don't know how its happened” when I asked “ist everything what you can say?” I heard just silence.

Had lunch at Taylor’s Rooftop during the week with work friends. The setting is really nice with a summery, light ambience. The food is reasonably priced for what it is - standard pub lunch fare. The quality was ok, not great. My nachos were nice, however a friend ordered the fried chicken burger and had to send back the side of chips as they came out cold. Maybe skip the food and focus on drinks with friends.

Had a great time, needed a table for 10 and every where was so packed. This place had a few empty tables, so I didn't walk in expecting miracles. Had dinner and drinks, great time, food was good.

It was priced a tad high, but I'm extremely full so it's all good.

The staff at the bar was amazing, nice guys, recommended drinks and made a couple good drinks.

My girlfriend and I just spent an evening at the club. Typical of strip clubs it has a cover charge and drinks are a bit dearer, but you have to expect. It’s Sydney after all. I was there from about 8:30 and there were some slow starts, but the girls were very friendly and respectful of people who just wanted to hang out for a drink and a show. The bar staff were excellent and the girls on stage once they got warmed up gave a great show. These places rely on the punters getting excited and having a great time. The dancers will feed off that vibe so it works both ways. Most of all be respectful and show them appreciation as you watch. Thanks ladies for a great night. Will definitely be back.

a group of us went in last night, paid $25 each entry fee, the place was so hot we were all sweating within a few minutes of entering, there was no seating available so we stood and were then told we needed to sit or leave... as there was no seats we had to leave. we were there for around 10 minutes... wouldn't recommend to anyone, was a total waste of money. Also there was only 1 girl on stage....

Very modern dining room with warm and attentive service. Starting with the bread, everything was well above expectations,the oysters were very fresh and the crumbed prawns were cooked perfectly (the pictures don't do it justice). We each had steak with truffle sauce and the steaks were cooked perfectly but the truffle lacked smell. Loved the mushy peas and chips. Wines were fairly priced and we were too full for dessert...

Best venue to hangout or go for a drink, and hangout with a mates, got a great sitting area TAB, KENO and their pokies area is really busy and good. This venue is really good and for the mates and Family, great service and great food and people are really really friendly here.

Ascend the stairs of Hotel CBD and you get to this somewhat hidden sports bar. Scores of big and small screens on every wall and in every direction, just as it should be. Decent selection of tap beer and a few bottles, similar with other types of booze. Snag yourself a private booth and you can watch a game on the big screen and a separate game on your screen. A sports lovers paradise, equipped with a TAB!

I've been to Vbar a lot because of it's location in the city - right at World Square. There's a bar at the front with lots of tables. It's great for groups. The bartenders are really nice. There are TV's in the middle where you can watch all the games. I go to the thai restaurant hidden at the back. Food is consistent and comes out so quickly. It is also very cheap for the amount of food you get. Toilets at the vbar could be cleaned more often.

Cheers has been a major pit stop for many of us over the years and through it’s temporary evolution of the 80 Proof spinoff, we rediscovered a great underground venue space that hosts a lineup of entertainment from stand up comedy to hip hop crew dance-offs to corporate functions. So it’s nice that it goes back to basics with what we loved most about it - Sport, Entertainment and Hearty food. Currently there is a streak of Asian in some of the dishes which makes sense, but all our old faves are still there.

THE HAWKER PLATE is a mixed grill of pork belly slices and southern fried chicken. Its a great example of how it’s menu has streaks of Asian influence through it, as it shares the board with Thai/Malaysian street style peanut sauced Satay Chicken sticks - a welcome addition.

THE VERMICELLI NOODLE SALAD takes you Vietname with the crunch from the bean sprouts and kick of slight chill and coriander with battered sliced fish through it!

Mate had the NY BURGER: (Quote) "I went the double bacon cheeseburger and wasn't dissapointed. Not my preferred cheddar, prefer the American, but the beef and bacon were good. Bun was soft. Again, my dislike of sweet caramelised onions on a beef burger was apparent to me. Chips although basic were well seasoned.” - I love caramelized onion so this burger would have been up my alley, but I was very pleased with my choice!

Lucky enough to be served by the manager himself, Mark and very personable character with superfast delivery times from the (I peered in) small kitchen! It’s like magic I tell ya!!!

This isn’t just for NRL, EPL, UFC fans as there’s a great mix of sports lovers, carefree and corporates that come through setting a really relaxed and funky vibe to the place!
