Stumbled upon this awesome venue after a football game, while waiting for traffic to die down. What a great little place, with the added bonus of incredible live jazz! Small menu, but the shrimp basket was great!

What a warm and welcoming experience! Marsha (owner), Tebereh and Myna showed us nothing less than beautiful smiles, amazing cuisine and tasty cocktails. Support this Black Business, you won’t regret it. Thank you Lavender Blue for being just what we needed while visiting LA! On game day, thank you keeping your door open and making us feel safe. We were glad to visit and will surely be back!

Popped in following the Rams, Eagles game and was very pleasantly surprised.
Good selection of beers and food. Served by efficient fast staff who seem to enjoy their work.
The Atmosphere was great with the jazz/soul musicians creating a good Ambiance.
It just proves that you should not believe everything you are told. As a visitor to L.A. I was advised not to walk from Sofi stadium and to get out of Inglewood with all speed. Complete RUBBISH. I felt comfortable and safe walking from the Stadium to the Lavender Blue and spent more than a couple of hours relaxing in the Lounge completely at ease. I would definitely recommend this place for drinks,music and atmosphere.

Was here for a repast. The food tasted like whomever made it didn't care. The ladies who served were polite but no personality. The overall atmosphere, well if it wasn't for the family, I would have walked out as soon as I walked in. It is an older establishment, that could use some sprucing.

By far my favorite hangout spot. Don't miss out on live music every first Friday and Rosas tacos etc on taco Tuesdays are THEEE BEST!!!

Came to this lovely restaurant for my relatives repass. Nice restaurant, great satisfying food, the bar was good. Nice place to have a event. I will definitely be back

Small neighborhood bar....cash only but lively locals and good music...older crowd...Rosa and Joe are great people!

Had a great time, met some interesting people I'll definitely keep in touch with! Also ran into an old client & reconnected! Great place to have a cocktail & listen to good music! You can even have an event there!
BTW, T is the greatest bartender, she specially made my drink better than I expected! I'll definitely go back just to chill & cocktail 🍸 😌 😎

We were in town from the East coast, and learned of this establishment from another musician. My husband and I had a amazing time, and he even got to jump in the drums even though he’s a touring bassist/composer. The food was good, but the music was fantastic!

Johnny's 75th birthday was beautiful thanks to Ms Marshall and Lavender blue. Everything was great!

The Green Horse is a spot where you can just go and chill. Nothing too special about it as it used to be. It's a spot if you want to host parties or any events to your liking. The owners are very nice people. The drinks are okay can be better. The music is good if you like oldies or hip hop.

This place is AWESOME!!! They have a parking lot and we called ahead to ask if they had a kitchen. They misheard and told us to come through. We did and the bartender said they only have Taco Tuesday but guess what… the owner offered us tostadas ON THE HOUSE. That was so sweet of her to go out of her way to do that!!! We had fun dancing on the dance floor! Great times! Good booze! YAAAAS!

I grew up seeing this place in existence for over 30 years and had never been there This was my first time there ever and we had a great time...

I'm told it's had a facelift since the old days so I didn't get to see the original one but whatever upgrades they did made it nice..

The owner was very nice and hospitable.. The drinks are great! The music was great and everybody was nice fun and friendly.. a very quaint and nice hole in the wall for those of us are older, want to get out but don't want the club and the crowd scene.. It's just the right number of people..

I will definitely be back...
