Fabric Spark is a wonderland of colour and pattern-mixing and cotton. This shop makes me happy.
I picked up a beautiful lime green and ocean blue fat quarter to wrap a gift and took twenty minutes longer than necessary to do it because this store is such a source of calming visual pleasure I didn’t want to leave. (Nowhere in my life or mind is so neatly organized.)
They offer much more than fabric, including sewing and quilting classes, puzzles, journals, and the prettiest tape measures I’ve ever seen.

Bought a really good pair of scissors there. I used to insulate pipes and ductwork, and these are the kind of scissors I needed to cut canvas. Too bad I never had a pair this good back then, maybe my canvas work would've been nicer looking. A good pair of scissors are vital for that.
Oh my gosh the prettiest fabrics and the nicest patterns! And a very friendly and knowledgeable staff who don't seem to mind someone who mostly just browses and buys thread. Love this place!

I'm new to quilting so I've been visiting all the fabric stores in Toronto and I love them all for different reasons, but Fabric Spark is definitely one of my favourites! They have the biggest, most versatile collection of quilting fabrics and I always see about 30 things I want every time I stop by. The people who work here are also so friendly and helpful! They always ask what I'm working on, which I think is a quilter's favourite question to receive.
The staff there are ever so helpful and kind. I am about to make my second quilt since university (ahem.... about 20 years ago), and felt intimidated by the idea of making another one (correctly) for my daughter. They guided me with possible colour combinations, and helped me figure out how much fabric I needed without over spending. My experience was so wonderful, I can't imagine going anywhere else.
Gorgeous fabrics, excellent service. I've only had experience with their online store as I haven't had a chance to shop at their physical location, but I look forward to going there someday. In terms of my online orders, I've always been very pleased with the fabrics I've received and how quickly I've received them. I've recommended the store to several friends.
