The people working here obviously care about their customers. They actually told me not to waste my money on certain bait since it wasn’t working at the time. Also needed to buy a new net while I was in the area and they had very reasonable prices I felt on those.

They were so helpful! We needed a new blind since our back window one broke. They had it at the store and also helped with a bathroom blind and propane holder. Prices are decent and don't overcharge. Place is east to find and have a lot of icehouses for sale out front. Would recommend!

Minnow counters don't get much repeat business

Let’s start off saying that we have purchased multiple new ice castles from different dealerships and every experience was a total joke ! ! Until we met Hendri the big kahuna at Smokey hills early spring this year. From start to finish nothing but professional and knowledgeable about our vision of a new house . Hendri was a huge help and had great ideas especially if you’re building something custom . From phone calls to the non stop emails they kept us in the loop on our build . Our experience was great and can’t Waite to hit the ice !!
If I could give more than 5 stars I would oh and by the way Hendri set us up with Smokey hills sweatshirts and I’m gonna wear it everywhere to represent !!

My favorite bait store in Park Rapids. Good prices and the quality of live bait seem to last longer than other bait stores. The location and parking are also best if you tow a larger fishing boat. The guys that run the shop are great to talk to as well, and they have photos at the counter of fish caught on nearby lakes. In the fall you can also exchange deer hides for a new pair of buckskin gloves here.

Mike in service was fantastic to work with. Seemed he was more interested in selling us a new house than Brandon in sales was. I will say as we looked Brandon got a little better. Left my contact info as he could not provide pricing on any of the houses we looked at. Also spoke about internal company problems with past employees and customers. We spent $28k just 10 months ago and were treated like second class citizens by the sales team. We will probably go some where else from now on.

We recently purchased an Ice House from Smokey Hills Outdoor Store and Highly Recommend them. Hendri and his staff are great to work with!! They are very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions. Their customer service is excellent! Would definitely buy from them again.

From beginning to end, not only the communication but the customer service was to notch. Were were able to customize our build exactly how we wanted it to fit our family best. Ordered a expensive propane powered ice auger to be shipped to Michigan. They had the best price in the country! Most likely the shippers did not ship the auger sitting straight up and down so it was hydro-locked. Contacted the manager he instructed me on how to remedy the issue. Then he sent me 2 new rod and reel ice fishing poles, and stocking hat, and decals for my trouble. AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE! FAMILY RUN BUSINESS! Plan on buying from them over and over in the future. FORGET THE JUMBO STORES BUY SMALL BUSINESS!!

I bought nice leeches the week of August 16th - 24th when nobody else seemed to have them. Awesome!

Supreme selection of live bait ... top of the line bait, ive been stopping at the places on the main drag for bait, heard about this place from a buddy at work. Its a couple blocks off the main drag This is now where I get live bait .. very friendly staff as well.

You might think Louisiana crawfish are the best until you've had Minnesota crystal clear water bugs! You can hold the mud! You'll be hard pressed to find better eating crawfish!

Best bait in the state. Prices are fair, and service is quick.
Literally walk in and out in 5 minutes or less.
