100% Irish Pub feel which was very much needed. We wanted a little change of pace from the traditional Italian/Parisian vibe and we found it. Recommend for sure.

Classic Irish Pub but not outstanding with being quite pricey. One Beer is 9€. They were showing all Olympic Games competitions on a big screen

Consistently delivers a great night in Paris. Can’t help but have a top time. Absolute must go to on a Monday, where after 10pm you win free drinks for naming the artist of the song first. Beautiful carnage

We were looking for a pub to watch Premier league football, this is a good choice with nice atmosphere. They have at least four screens so multiple games and sports can be seen. Also quiz nights etc. location is easy to get to and in a nice area.

Food is good and we love the dessert of Fontainebleau. There is not much services and we have to pour our own water when glass empty. Recommend to try the food.

Amazing beers and the great atmosphere. It can be a little bit hard to find a table (or any place to sit at all) depending on what time you arrive. Also, I was a bit disappointed to hear at 22:05 that the kitchen closed at 22h. I only left because I couldn’t order anything to eat. Anyway, I still recommend it for the great beer options!
Absolutely great place for dinner.
Very quick service. And the most important thing for our family - our experience being upped by professional and friendly waiter who made our son feeling so important - that he wanted to come back every day to the same restaurant.
We had a really great time there. And the food was very good too.

We booked this restaurant expecting a good experience since it was a michelin star restaurant. We were able to eat the food which was served but surpassingly none of the portions were good. The food was just okay.

Considering the price and the michelin star we expected something good or even excellent. I think this place will loose the star and it definitely would not get it with the quality it serves currently.

Sea bass was ok but lacked flavour. The asparagus served with it didn't seem fresh. Beef tenderloin meat quality seemed good but the portion lacked flavour.

Even the deserts were underwhelming. The portion with strawberries and raspberries seemed to have some of the berries frozen from the freezer.

Would not come again.

We have been to Michelin star restaurants before in Paris and elsewhere and this was the first time we were disappointed.
Great first meal in Paris. Absolutely delicious and conscious of my food allergies. If I’m nearby I’ll come back again!
What a wonderful restaurant! We chose to have dinner there, and it was quite an experience. The place is super beautiful, with elegant yet cozy plate presentations, and the food is delicious. It's been a while since we had such a delicious fish dish. The service was impeccable; Emma and the rest of the staff treated us like royalty. Highly recommended for all occasions!
Food was amazing! I truly enjoyed it! Service was pretty awesome too! I would definitely go back!

Reviewer visited from Singapore.

This was our first dinner on our Paris holiday, as we wanted some old school Parisian bistro fare to start trip off with a bang.

We were recommended to eat here at the end of our last trip in 2023. Unfortunately, during that visit we could not find the time to squeeze out a a meal here. So, we vowed to come here when we visited Paris again.

Unfortunately, we were not very impressed, and when we looked back at our Paris holiday meals as a whole, Benoit unfortunately ranks the lowest out of all our meals.

The service and atmosphere score full marks but the main event, the food, left a lot to be desired.

It’s not that it was prepared badly it was that it was very pedestrian/regular. The flavors and dishes fell short of our expectations and didn’t really surpass in any aspect at all.

This is especially so when one takes into account the amount one might spend and the quality of the food. There was definitely a mismatch in this regard.

We spent about €100/pax with no drinks.

Unfortunately, unless we hear from someone we trust that they improve the food significantly, we will not be back again.

One of the best restaurants I have ever visited in Paris. Every single thing in the dish is remarkably delicious and tasty.
The service was great too, but it needs a reservation for a table even at lunch time.
Small and extremely crowded all weekend but makes sense as it’s the best place in central Paris with the best music.

Happened across the pub on a walkabout and felt very comfortable as soon as we walked in the door. Extremely helpful, friendly and fun staff. Was there for about 9hrs on the Saturday and then for a fair few hours on the sunday. Food was amazing, good drink selection available and i honestly cannot praise the staff enough, it was an amazing experience and such a fun couple of days that we will be back 😁

Amazing experience. We celebrated my fiancé's birthday. We ordered snails, frog legs, and duck served with olives. Chocolate profiteroles for desert. Everything was very tasty! We also liked the ambience and old French songs mixed with Sinatra ;)
A nice bar in the area of Chatelet right next to the westfield mall.
This restaurant quickly accommodated our party of 13 people and the food came out quickly and it was delicious! The workers were very kind too. Would recommend!

We had lunch there as a family of 4 after visiting La Cité des Sciences. Friendly helpful staff, with prompt service and kids-friendly menu. Their couscous with merguez was excellent, and their burger too. The kids loved their fish finger & chips; some cucumber or carrot sticks would have been a nice addition to the kids meal though. We'll definitely be back when visiting La Vilette

This bar was a stop on a Latin party bus tour I booked. This is an Irish pub, but they let them take over the music. It is small, and there is a pool table, but if more than four people are waiting for a drink, you can risk getting hit with a pool stick. The bartenders were working, and there were many people, but there wasn't a crazy drink wait, so kudos to them. I didn't have any food, so I can't speak about food quality. There is an upstairs with tables, and their outdoor space is covered, which is a significant plus during the winter months. Overall, I would definitely come back; the drinks and atmosphere were good, and they were welcoming to the craziness of the bus, so again, major bonus points.

A traditional restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere. Food was good and service was great. I had the scallop dish which was good (but nothing to write home about). However, my wife had the “Tiger Calf Head” which was really exceptional. I wish I had ordered the same dish as hers. However, I will be back if only to order this same dish 😋

Hard to think of a worse dining experience in my life, much less at a place with the prestige and reputation of Allard.

The lobster wrapped in chicken was decent but forgettable, but the chicken for two seemed to have nothing added to it and was quite dry. Certainly nothing special as you might expect. What was really appalling though was the portion of seasoned vegetables (separately ordered for $12!).

The list of service issues are too lengthy to mention.

Very bad experience. Google has said my prior review violated their policies so I have edited out most of the specific details. Just avoid.

ALLARD | PARIS 🇫🇷🍽️

First dinner in Paris! Super awesome and highly recommend! 🏆🏆🏆

Bienvenue chez Allard. One of the finest gourmet addresses in Paris for over 80 years. In 1985, The Allard family sells the restaurant to Bernard Bouchard who, in turn, and now to Alain Ducasse. 👨🏻‍🍳👩🏻‍🍳🧑🏻‍🍳

Located in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, it remains one of the last authentic French gourmet bistros. 🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷

Vibes - An intimate dining room whose diffused light, dark wood paneling, red leather banquette, tobacco-stained walls, and floral-printed wallpaper make every tête-à-tête look like a scene in a Merchant Ivory film.

Must order - Here, beauty is both in the room and on the plate. The La canette de Challans aux olives - signature duck from Challans with olives - one of the great classics of the Allard restaurant. Délicieux escargots en conquilles - iconic entry of bistro cuisine. Definitely the cuisses de grenouilles façon Fernande Allard - frog legs, a standard of French gastronomy. 🦆🐌🐚🐸🌱🍽️

For a city like Paris, you have occasion to go back to again and again, Allard is like home. Good for family dinner as well as a cozy twosomes. While impressive enough for foodies who need to round out their classical food education, Allard is a place that would satisfy even the most curious Asian visitors. ❤️❤️❤️

Pretty disappointed.
The quality of the food was very average for the price (39€ on Sundays, 29 on Saturdays) with basic and limited choice and average execution. Bacon over cooked and dry became extremely salty. The food was almost cold. The brie was poor quality. The large choice was for pizzas.
I would have liked more verrines for choice of desserts.
It was very noisy with loud music and loud people.
We were sat at the last table by the toilet. There is no door, just a beaded curtain so you were living with people entering the toilets and washing their hands and had to squeeze to make sure they did not bump into your table or feet.
No space between tables to get to the buffet, and you had to crab walk to access. People's coats on the back of the chair became a trip hazard.
Also mixing level of tables meant that you had people's bum at eye level.

This was an extremely disappointing experience from beginning to end. We booked in person 7 weeks ago and were still shown to a terrible table that was in a corridor and we couldn’t fit. Other people sitting nearby said they tried to sit them there and they also asked to move. We were then moved around the corner to a folding table seated next to a table of ten. Before that table arrived we had to ask to order drinks but it got worse after that table arrived. The staff paid us no attention. We poured our own drinks whilst having our table jostled constantly whilst they served the other table much more attentively. Every other table had couples like us and looked similarly unimpressed. The food was ok, we had the duck for two. They tried to take dishes away before we had finished them and then we did finish, took forever to clear our table despite many staff walking by. We weren’t asked if we wanted anything else, so eventually got up for the bill. The waiter at the till ignored us whilst talking to his colleagues. After taking our coats, and interrupting him we paid. Another staff member came by and we told them it was a terrible experience. They asked why and we explained as outlined. They didn’t seem to care. I haven’t written a bad review for a restaurant before. After having been on holiday for 7 weeks, eating in restaurants both cheaper and more expensive, this was particularly stand out for appalling service. For €211 for two, having 2 glasses of rose, a half carafe of red and one shared main dish, it was most definitely not worth it.

Very nice French restaurant by Alain Ducasse . The dining room is very cozy space inside. Lunch set is at superb quality at decent price for this kind of quality. Wine selection is great and high quality. Beef cheek la bourguignonne is excellent.
That's nothing like a pub!
RWC Semi-final, England-SouthAfrica on the huge screen.
But you can't watch it because 2 bunches of yuppies "BOOKED" the tables for birthdays !
Have you ever seen anything like this in a REAL pub !
And they were not even interested in the game !!!
I was looking for a nice and pleasant place to have meal near my rent flat and I found that restaurant. Very responsive service, tasty food, nice atmosphere, big portions. Highly recommend that place, staff speaks English very well

Me and a pal were in Paris for a few days for the Rugby World Cup, and we visited the Bombardier as we were told for sure they would have Rugby on the TV's. No disappointment there. The beer selection is enough and is all from their brewery back in England. I sampled a few of their beers and particularly enjoyed the Director's Cut. The servers are working hard both behind the bar and in front and appear slightly worse for wear but are friendly and efficient. The place is wonderfully old and just the right amount of shabby. There are a few tables outside where you can sit in the shade and gaze across at the Pantheon and the many tourists in the area. The Bombardier is not a tourist spot, it is an ex-pat pub run by Brits and it had a very welcoming vibe and plenty of regulars. I went there twice on Saturday, we shut the place down Saturday night, and twice again on Sunday. My first trip on Sunday, there were three of us, me, my pal and my serious hangover. But, a lovely Classic English Breakfast set me straight and the hangy took his leave early. Every component of that breakfast was cooked very well and I enjoyed every bite. The remainder of the menu is relatively simple, but the kitchen was steadily pumping out plates,so it would appear that the food is good enough. From what i saw passing by me, it certainly looked tasty. Go, drink beer, talk to people and have a good time, I certainly did.

Allard is classic French food done right. I think the quote on the menu about clients coming to the restaurant not for surprise or novelty, but for well-executed culinary classics sums up the ethos well. The chicken for 2 was heavenly. Perfectly cooked skin, moist inside, full of flavor in every bite. The truffle macaroni and cheese was indulgent and comforting. My only complaints would be the incredibly warm dining room and the sometimes blunt service, but this is characteristic of many places in Paris. The food more than makes up for it though, and truly a memorable meal. Best chicken I’ve ever had.

This place started a bar crawl I attended and I must say, the drinks were wonderful and the service was fantastic! We didn't stay long, just one cider and a few shots but the atmosphere was fun and I'm sure if we stayed there it would have been a great time! I would return for sure!
My favorite neighborhood pub. Nothing special, but about 10 types of draft beer and plenty of cheap snacks. It's good to have a glass of draft beer lightly when it's hot. It's a little disappointing that there is no outdoor space, but the inside space is spacious instead. I also like the atmosphere inside.

I visited this bar on the first stop of a pub tour. There atmosphere was great and it was busy. The food was fine. My only regret was not requesting my burger medium well. The fries were perfection, though.
We ended up there around 11 pm attracted by a nice music while going to the metro Jussieu. A very nice place with rock music! A big advantage is that it is not so crowded comparing to all the bars and cafes in the Rue Mouffetard nearby. It is not so cheap (we payed 8.50€ for 500ml Chouffe Cherry) but Happy Hours seem affordable.

14 euros for a chicken burger with boiled white chicken and coleslaw without any fries. As you can see from the picture, I think you could get a better meal looking through the trash can outside of the restaurant.
The staff were great and they had a nice beer selection, hence the two star. But the prices are crazy high, even for Paris.

39€/ person is a little expensive. And you have just one hour to have your brunch. There is so many people inside, very crowded. I think it’s not very quality-price choice.
Competitive prices for beer given the city and location. Good atmosphere and staff. It can get a bit loud. No phone reception inside but they offer wifi network. Plenty of space to accommodate several groups of people.

Is this what a cuba libre should be looking like? We ordered for us because it is happy hour. Instead we got this. Returning to the bar asking what this is and that we ordered cuba libre which should more look like coke, they scoffed at us telling us to order a new drink. Very bad service.

A genuinely nice pub, run by genuinely nice people. Guinness is as good as it gets in Paris and if you are from Cork , well you can have Murphy's Stout instead. They also offer Murphy's Red which is more and more a rarity. Didn't get a chance to try the food but it looked very decent as well. Also worth mentioning that there's quite a few good dart players who are regulars! Highly recommended!

A Big place for the location, it's got lots of space. Friendly staff, does nibbles, a few good beers on tap. It's got darts but that's about it for games I believe. Very reasonnable pub with an all academic clientele due to the proximity to the university. A nice pub to go to !
Cool place with rocking British design, shiveringly good music selection and incredible public. The rum shots were the best part of the evening: so smooth that you can drink them without blinking. And hats off for jagerbomb with Monster. Solid choice of energy drink ;)
Amazing pub with really nice bartender. I celebrated my 30th birthday there on a Saturday night. Truly great for any events. I had a blast. Great beers as well. Definitely recommend going there.

Cute british-style pub with a nice selection of beer. The decor is super cool and there's plenty of tables so you'll probably find place to sit. Not giving the 5 stars because it was very full (2 big tables, seemed like a party) and it took us a solid 15 minutes to be able to order a couple beers. But well, maybe we were unlucky in the evening! May end up going there again if I'm in the neighborhood.
