Haven't tried the food. However great atmosphere and service. A nice local bar with welcoming midtown locals. A/C and temp are comfortable, plenty of parking in the small shopping strip. Plenty of other food options in the area. A great starting place for a tour of midtown.

Probably one of the worst bars in Houston. The barman was thinking he was deserving of a tip after being fully rude to our group. Pretty sure he was drunk or high on the job. He was not giving recommendations and generally very mean when I asked questions about what was available on tap. He then berated me about not giving a tip due to his rudeness for about 5 minutes and I just spoke with my wallet at the end of the discussion (he had gauges, I recommend you avoid him). Like he even gave me my receipt back and wouldn’t accept it without a tip after he had been so rude; I’ve never experienced this at a bar. I tried ignoring him but he was simply just cruel and throughout the night kept approaching our group and chirping me. I typically tip, just this guy was so painful I did not. Tipping culture has gotten out of hand and I won’t tip a server particularly if they were as mean as this guy initially was. I won’t be returning here.

Best bartenders around. They serve a solid bottle of beer and surprisingly great Bloody Mary's.

Great prices for my favorite beer. Atmosphere is that of a great pub. Great place to get the night started .

I had a fantastic time at Phoenix on Westheimer, especially during their special burger night with a British vibe. The atmosphere was perfect with TVs tuned to sports, making it the ideal place to watch soccer games and enjoy a cold beer with my friend Justin. Stop by to pick up a order of the Friday special.. Fish and chips for only 8$. 😋 I luv their tartar sauce, I was all to willing to pay an additional fee for extra.

👍 The food is good. They have some sort of cauliflower nuggets, which taste great and give vegitarians something to eat. The wings are flavored well, too. I saw a plate of fish and chips being served to a table and am eager to try them.

Get the chicken pub pie you will not be disappointed!! The veggies were perfectly cooked and not mushy like most pot pies are. The portions you get for the price are fantastic as well. Not sure what kind of sorcery is going on in the kitchen but this place this the definition of don’t judge a book by its cover. From the outside alone you’d think it’s just another old pub to just get a quick beer but no, this place is a hidden gem.

Fish and chips, chicken pot pie, tots...so good. Service is always good as well. Never had an issue. Great daily specials and plenty of parking. You can also used the QR code to order and pay individually so good for large groups without having to split the check. Good for casual nights.

Perfectly fine stop with some bar food and a good 11-7pm happy hour. I wasn't able to learn what exactly the happy hour meant, but I know my Saint Arnold Christmas Ale was $5 on tap. The food is a bit pricey with the fries appetizer being a bit small.

The food is amazing and the menu is like no other. I tried their specialty pizza, their ribeye steak, and the chicken curry. All amazing. Nice cozy spot for food, drinks and games.

I love this place. The food is awesome. It’s made fresh. They have daily specials. Everything is wonderful. The waitstaff is phenomenal. Luis, Joe and Vanessa are awesome bartenders and servers!

I come here at least three or four times a week just for the friendly faces, and great atmosphere!! It really helps me wind down from a hard day at work! You have got to check this place out!!

My only complaint is that they don’t have a pool table, BUT, they do have some awesome brand new steel dart boards that are actually lit up… and if you can find it, you gotta look for the Vigo/Bob Ross picture!! SCAVENGER HUNT!! No but seriously this is a great place with awesome food, and a ton of beer choices!!!

Our service was slow. Took an hour to receive our nachos and we had to ask our server to take our orders! My ribeye was ordered to be a medium rare. It was raw. The meat had tendons or gristle thru it to the point that I couldn't cut it.

Server did not return for over 30 min to check on us after food was brought. So my dinner party was finished with their food before I could report my dissatisfaction with my steak. So, I returned it. I ate 3 bites of lettuce... because I never had the opportunity to ask for more dressing. My other side was mashed potatoes that I asked to be on the side (for my son) and they were on a curved plate with my steak... which left the potatoes to swim in the Raw blood of the steak.

I received about 4-6oz of soup. It was good, but I only ate half...
One would fully expect to have this disaster dish Removed from my tab, yet the server charged me for a soup and salad.

I gave a $5 tip, which was more than deserved. My plans of going there again changed. I'd rather get domino's pizza than waste my time and money in this unfortunate restaurant.

Sad. Seemed like a fun place with decent prices. But the server destroyed the entire experience. Perhaps if she did her job my steak could have been corrected.

Cool place in Westchase! The food is great, the drinks are responsibly priced for quality alcohol, and the atmosphere is very laid back, like any good Irish pub should be. New fav spot

The place was great service was fantastic! We came here for my birthday and had a great time. Tequila was amazing, not sure what they use but normally tequila kills me the next morning and this time it did not. Everything was going amazing until we left and we couldn't find our car. Even though we were paying customers they still towed our vehicle. $280 later and an Uber we got our car back. Absolutely not okay! The signs say you can park there if you are a paying customer. Those leaches sit there and circle the parking lot. Do not park in their parking lot!

Daily happy hour from 11 to 7. Daily drink specials all day. Darts, patio, live games, music, patio, great staff, parties, satellite sports, trips, food, great neighborhood bar, and tons of fun!

Been coming to this place a few times a week or more for over a year both solo and with others. The daily food specials are good and very well priced. Luis and Stephen make it a great place to hang out. They remember names, they work quickly and are always attentive even when its busy. You can get a beer anywhere but being remembered and feeling welcome is the best part because of them.

Came by on Monday to watch the Astro’s and had their ‘daily special’ of grilled chicken breast with cilantro rice and snow peas. The chicken was moist a d deliciously seasoned, rice paired perfectly and the snow peas were fresh, not over cooked and seasoned perfectly. All this for $8.00 and the portion was big. Let me repeat, A Gourmet meal for $8.00…and the suggested cider for $4.00! Can’t beat The Ph

Great tavern for an after-office or even to share a meal with your partner on a nigh out. Wide selection of beers and ales. Delicious menu.

Great dive bar feeling in the middle of midtown. A must visit if you want a laid back experience.

First time coming here. I was craving a pork chop and googled pork chops near me and this place popped up i went ordered and it took a long time to come out even though i was told 15-20 i was probably there 40 min but it was worth the wait it was very tender flavorful and that sauce on top perfect i forgot to take photos of it as i was so hungry lol only thing ill say is I didn't need a whole onion slivered on top lol but it was amazing will visit again

This is the best place to go to if you like a calm and laid back place to have a few drinks. Melissa is the *best* bartender here and is wonderful company too. I reccomend this place if you are trying to unwind after work or after a long day. I have only ever had wonderful experiences when Melissa was taking care of us. Thank you!!

First time in this place tonight at a little past 8 pm on a Wednesday. Clean, quiet (only a half dozen or so customers), and Robin took excellent care of me. Glasses of house wine on sale tonight for $5. I'll be back the next time I'm in the neighborhood.

I went here for brunch. There’s free parking next to the building but not a ton. This place is a bar and there’s a food truck outside. The food is extremely good however, you have to stand in line to order then wait for the meal; then pick it up and use plastic cutlery. I don’t have a problem with this but wanted to share that it’s not a traditional brunch experience. For drinks, there good. We started w the mimosos flights and got a tower. The tower is expensive but can be shared with many friends. We didn’t finish it. The DJ is a vibe. I do recommend this place and the food truck.

Great Pub-Restaurant. Excellent food from pizza to curries. Wonderful daily specials. Perfect Guinness pours from the bar. Chicken wings crispy skin, Chicken sandwich, and Grilled Porkchop special were all excellent. I didn't get a picture of the stuffed Jalapeños but they are a must!

Great pub! Really nice outdoor area and cozy inside. The menu has something for everyone including vegetarians and fur babies! We had fish and chips which were very good. Extensive beer selection and full bar. Friendly people and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Took a friend of mine for her birthday we had greeted on arrival asked where we wonted to seat.they was very pleasant smiles on their faces very courteous very helpful intensive we will be going back they don't have this time serve food inside but have food truck outside that sells some fried items different items and the lamb King is there putting lamb chops on the grill with asparagus A1 we ate from both of them the food from both are great great vibes all around from the parking tendant to the doorman to the inside staff.great job everyone 👍👍👍😍

decent place to grab a drink! we just had beers on draft but saw some of their gorgeous signature cocktails. they also have a food menu but it was pricey, $12 for tacos? no thanks! but regardless we will have to come back soon!!!

Such a cute spot! It’s really one of those places you just have to go experience. They have food (we did not try) and drinks- we had mimosas and one of their specialty drinks. I’m glad we stopped and hopefully next time we can try the food.

Great little bar with pool table and darts. Has that Irish pup feel to it. Bartender was awesome. Highly recommend to someone who wants to get off the beaten path.

Super chic bar lounge. Great vibes, great service, and baby those drinks are to die for. Kind of pricey but strong enough for the price.

This establishment does not serve food. They do work with a food truck, however, it’s not owned and operated by the same people. I was under the assumption that this was a brunch location, besides the missed information, phenomenal location.

It was a nice little quiet bar. The drinks were cheap during happy hour. The bartender was very friendly. The customers were very nice. It's clean and a nice little hideaway.

This is my go-to pub for watching sports and eating wings! It’s got a pub feel and a wonderful staff who are always attentive and checking on you.

They have plenty of indoor seating, and a large patio for those wishing to dine outdoors.

PRO TIP: Tuesday’s are half off wings and they are certainly worth the trip! Order them with either the traditional Buffalo sauce, or the dry Cajun rub. Thank me later!

Went there once. The bartender was very helpful, advising me on their (huge) selection of beers and making me taste 2 beers so that I could chose.
There was very good jazz music playing.
Also, there is a small terrace outside.
I'll probably come back next time I'm in Houston.

Very cozy, warm, friendly, and inviting little bar. Robin is an excellent bartender. Only thing is the food is not that great. It's basically your choice of frozen item, cooked in a toaster oven behind the bar. But you can get the food late at night, like until around midnight, even on a Monday, so that's convenient.

So many beers to choose from. Great place to make interesting beer discoveries. The food is also delicious. The pretzels are phenomenal, specially the all dressed ones (not in the menu but still available on demand). Fridays there's usually a live show.
