Everything we had was unbelievably delicious. The pizzas were so amazing, my son kept giving us a thumbs up after every bite :) you can turn a mocktail into a cocktail by adding your favorite shot. Variety of beer flights. Excellent service, friendly staff.
It’s my first time here. And I’m in love🥰

Great staff. The atmosphere is cool. There is a large selection of beer. We didn't eat, only drank, so I can't recommend food. But I ordered a pretzel (it was very tasty)

The atmosphere is nice - the place is cozy for seeing friends or a date - food is pretty good and the drinks are great! Service was awesome the hostess and waitress did a great job, overall a place is worth a visit. I had a buttermilk chicken sandwich with fries and honestly I would give it an 8.5 over 10.
One of the best brunches I have had in a long time.

The French toast chicken sandwich is as decadent as it sounds, the biscuit was shockingly delicious, and the bloody mary flight was a total treat.

Our service wasn't so great, we had to get up and find our own cutlery and I think they refilled our water once in the entire hour we were there, but the food and drinks alone are reasons to return.

Very tasty, higher quality bar food. We’ve been coming here for years. Good service, and nice to families with young kids.

We went to the Independent to celebrate my partner's birthday and I just want to thank the staff as they were so accommodating and helpful. The person on the phone who took the reservation was really nice and they allowed us to bring a birthday cake. Our server, Kat B, was super accommodating! We were a big group and were lingering for a long time and nobody bothered us, but also the service was great when we were actually ordering/eating. Everyone was very happy with their food. I haven't been here in a long time but I will definitely be coming more often after this great night out.

Quick service, food was delicious and it wasn't loud. Great place to catch up with friends over a good meal.

I had the smoked salmon fettuccine, and it was incredible.
Went for a Friday date with my husband at our local favorite. Service is always great. Surprisingly not too busy as we were able to get a patio seat. My fish and chips were meah (can't put my finger on it). I love my cocktails and my hubby enjoyed his beer so we had a great evening overall.

Amazing time. I had a third rail cocktail it was fantastic. I also had poutine and some Mac and cheese. Both dishes were fantastic. The atmosphere is nice. Parking can be a bit difficult depending on the day, so I would prepare for that. But expensive but that's typical for Boston.
Tacos were unimpressive. Fried shrimp taco was just fried shrimp and sauce, could use some slaw or something. Gordita taco was vegetarian and maybe the most solid. Pork belly taco was disappointing. Was not tender like pork belly should be and desperately needed more flavor. The foghorn leghorn pizza was pretty good, however, but could have stayed in the oven a little longer.

Excellent Linner, shared Chili, House made Cornbread, and Korean Crispy chicken wings with my lovely wife.
Food was all delicious
She drank a Tempest and I had a House Margarita. Both tasty with great presentation.

Went for a date on a Tuesday night around 8 pm. The venue wasn't crowded. Our server was Joe. Over the course of the evening he was extremely attentive and kept checking in regularly if we needed anything.
We ordered 3 apps and drinks. The fig toast is yummy, garlic shrimp too but the chicken and potato confit was meh. We also asked for more bread to soak up the garlic butter and they brought one single tiny slice haha
Great brunch spot. Was served at the bar without reservation on super bowl sunday and had fast service. Loved the mimosa flights that changed daily. Good variety for brunch and creative fusion.

I'm a longtime fan of Five Horses. The beer selection has always been unparalleled and their food is always great.

Came in for brunch this weekend and wasn't as blown away as I had hoped to be. I got the breakfast tacos with pork belly, it was just okay. The home fries were alright but nothing groundbreaking.

Great food and an awesome beer selection. The oysters were very good. The fish and chips got two separate thumbs up. I enjoyed the brisket sandwich. Make reservations for prime time. Parking can be painful, I went to the street behind Dunkin donuts

The atmosphere, service, and food are all great. There's a good selection of alcohol, too, of course. It's a little pricier than some other taverns I've been to, but the quality of the food is probably worth it.
I highly recommend the vegan burger. The pickled onions give a unique flavor, but it's not anything so strange that I wouldn't recommend it to a picky eater. Pictured next to the burger is a side of sweet potato salad.
The green bean casserole tater tots were also great, but I only saw it on some special menu.
The cornbread is great, too, if you like sweets. It's a lot like cake rather than bread.
The pizza was too hard and not worth the money. Their other food is so much better.
