Great local dive bar with a jukebox. The beer choices are a plenty! And the prices help during these times! Can’t wait to go back. Friendly bartenders as well!

I tried to come into the bar and was not let in because I was told I was drunk. I have not been drinking all night. The bouncer assumed I was drunk do to my prosthetic leg . I walk with a limp and he didn't even bother to check to see if I had been drinking.

I've never felt such discrimination as a handicap person before.

Please get a bouncer who actually knows when someone has been drinking

This occurred March 6 between 11:10-11:15pm

I would have loved a spot like this in my 20s, it's affordable with great vibes. But the food and service isn't great. The soda in mixed drinks is totally flat.

$5 beer/shot combo which is nearly extinct so that's cool.

The Playlist that runs is stale though. Manager needs to be more open to suggestions, or an update to the jukebox would be cool (the bar has an eclectic vibe would be cool to hear more eclectic music)

Was staying in JC cause I couldn't find a reasonable room rate in Manhattan. Was super glad I did; I found the bars here to have a much better vibe than anything I stumbled into across the river. Lucky 7 was our favorite out of all of them! Welcoming staff, fast attentive service even when most bars would be in the weeds. Looking forward to visiting NYC again, but better believe I'm staying in Jersey again.

Great place with great wings arguably the best in Hudson county and great bartenders and cook. They play good music and any game you want to watch. Owner is a Philly fan but don’t hold that against him! Good dude

Great little retro dive bar with old school duke box. Went during happy hour and beers were $5!
Went there with friends for karaoke Thursdays and atmosphere was nice. Wait staff good, and drinks fair priced. Can not rank food, as did not have any this visit. Not sure if these were regulars, but if you ever are there when Maureen is, she's got a killer voice and wonderful vibes.

I was surprised at the great prices at Lucky 7 Tavern. The bartenders were attentive, and the wait to get a drink was short. It's definitely a dive bar, so understand that before you go. I left off a star because i didnt stay long due to an inadequate amount of seating. This spot is worth checking out if you're into dives.

Great location…located at the heart of Jersey city…close from Grove street path station…open air Bar… great service… limited choice of drinks…parking is a big problem… specially on weekends. Paid street parking available, used ParkMobile app to pay.

Fun bar with a spacious outdoor area located in Jersey City, NJ. We all ordered margaritas, but I went one step further and got the jalapeno margarita. Although it was delicious, be warned because it was spicy!
This is a nice spot in jersey city. I will say - the vibe here is excellent! Outdoor space, nice staff, chill vibes. The food was average and the cocktails were a tad bit disappointing. If you’re coming here, I would recommend sticking to beers.

It has great vibe and music except it is a bit noisy if you sat outside. I had purple rain drink and corn, cajun shrimp. I liked the corn better. Food and drinks are decent and well priced
Very nice place to go. Staff was really nice and place looks really cool. However, I ordered fish and chips to go and a bar pretzel. Pretzel tasted like the freezer and the fish smell was so strong I could smell them bringing it from the kitchen about 2 minutes before it got there. Smelled awful. I had it in the car tied in a bag for 7 minutes. It is almost a week later and my car still smells like the fish after driving it everyday with a bunch of cleaning. That is def not normal.
This past weekend we had our daughter and her fiancé’s engagement party at HH. From start to finish it was a great experience. We live over an hour and a half away and chose HH in Jersey City as a middle point for family and friends coming from all over. I choose it sight unseen. It’s a great size, but charming with lots of bright light.
I conversed many times with Jen before hand and she was responsive and helpful. She even sent photos. Extended staff helped us unload our car when we arrived. The day of the party, Alana was wonderful even jumping behind the bar when needed. While running the restaurant she consistently checked in to make sure things were running smoothly. She was great.
Kyle was our server, but that title does not even come close to what he did that day. He was so helpful and attentive and went well above anything I could have wished for. He was a real rockstar! We were late for setup (city traffic) and he made sure everything was executed perfectly. Thank you! The place was so great that after the celebration, many stayed to hang around at the bar. My only complaint was that the catered food we ordered went so fast. We ordered plenty, but it was soooo good, people came back for seconds and thirds. Thank you for making our family’s special celebration wonderful!
This spot is great! It’s dog friendly with spacious outdoor seating. A ping pong table too. I sat outside and the view of the tall buildings next to it was nice.

The server Natalie was so hospitable. The Purple Rain cocktail was very tasty! As for the food, my friend and I ordered the fish tacos, shrimp tacos, french fries, and shrimp quesadillas. My favorite was the shrimp tacos because they were well seasoned and the shrimp was grilled. I also loved the French Fries because they were crispy and fresh, just how I like it.

I will definitely be going back in the summer. It’s my new Taco Tuesday spot!
One of my favorite local pubs in JC. Great relaxed atmosphere with American Irish food. Everything is delicious... I have yet to be disappointed at this place. The service and cocktails are great.
Had a private birthday party here. Very impressed with the quick and attentive service of Nicole! Nicole was incredibly friendly and always on top of the ball. The atmosphere is amazing and the restaurant is very well decorated. Bar tenders are super friendly and the place is lively. The restaurant is handicap accessible including the bathrooms. There is no sign on the bathroom doors indicating accessibility but it is.
Just had my daughters Roaring 20’s Bridal Shower in Nuckys Speakeasy last night. We really wanted something different with a cool vibe and this place did not disappoint. Sarah Rath the manager went out of her way to work with us and make our vision come to life. The bartender, Lily, was excellent, professional; served us all quickly and with a smile, and there were a lot of special requests. No one waited for a drink and everyone was so impressed by her talent and good nature. Food was great. Sarah helped me pick out the menu and she prepared a special menu card for each place setting. She helped us set up before the event and all through the night she checked in frequently. The job that Sarah and Lily and staff did was outstanding. There is absolutely not one thing I could complain about. It was really a perfect night!
Let me just say that our server Sam was attentive and made our visit enjoyable!

Lets start with the drinks!!!

House Margarita 8/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ was pretty good.. I usually do not like House Margaritas cause of the cheap Tequila that is used but unlike others this was pretty good!!

Apps:
Dry Rub Wings were moist and on point! It had a sweet spicy flavor to them which was good! These are for sure 9/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Pigs-in-a-blanket were ok. The dough was a crispy flake texture to them but went well with the yum-yum sauce that came with it 6/10⭐️⭐️⭐️

Entree:
1/2 Pound Burger - Fully loaded was the best burger I have ever had! Juicy on the inside Medium Well with Cheddar Cheese, Lettuce, Tomatoe, Bacon, Avocado, & Fries 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Dessert:
Chocolate Lava Cake - this isn’t really a lava inside cake but the flavors were there with the taste of espresso in the sauce was devine! 8/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The ambiance was chill and TVs on with the games!!

Overall will come back again for sure!
We tried this place for the first time for Sunday lunch. And I am happy to say that it won't be the last time.

With the doors opened on both sides of this corner establishment, it felt airy and comfortable inside. Most customers chose to sit outside in this perfect weather. Service was a bit slow and could be more friendly and attentive.

We ordered some draft beer and rosé wine. Both were refreshing. The Adobo dry rub chicken wings were flavorful and perfectly cooked. Loved the Fish & Chips. Fish was crispy outside and moist inside. French fries were also very good.

Great location - creative cocktails and open atmosphere makes an outdoor summer place you come back to again and again. The owners are Jersey City locals (they own the Cliff in JC heights). And Gary's grandfather was a firefighter in town - what a beautiful legacy - Engine 3!!!

Beer garden in Jersey City with a pretty cool outdoor area. There are roots of picnic tables and some wooden steps to sit on. The actual bar area itself has some nice lights and they filled up the space with lovely music. It was dark though and I think that a few more large plants and some string lights would give this place a more cozy vibe. Overall nice spot to hangout on a warm night and has lots of potential.
We are from the UK and have lived in Jersey City for many years. Just a week ago, I mentioned how much I miss being able to go to a local pub for a Sunday roast dinner. On my walk home, I spotted Hudson Hound and to my shock, they had Sunday Roast on the menu. The food did not disappoint at all and the live music was a real bonus. Delicious roast dinner and the paté was phenomenal too. The gravy, Yorkshire pudding and mashed potatoes were so full of flavour! Beef perfectly cooked. The ONLY thing that was a bit odd for me was the roast potatoes weren't crispy and were spicy. They weren't bad at all, but weren't as traditional as I was expecting, especially as everything else was. The whole experience was great and I look forward to coming back!
