Voldi assisted us and provided such friendly and attentive service. Food portions are generous and tasty. Overall a really pleasant experience, also a beautiful, comfortable setting

On our first trip to Cape Town, hunger lead us here and it was such a treat!!!
Delicious food and wine of course , along with a pretty and serene atmosphere.
On one side you have the more intimate dining and the other is the pub house bar style you can enjoy as well! And we did just that!!!

Great setting, to sit on a rainy day to chat near the fireplace to catch up with friends. We did tapas sampling of different starters and dessert. Enjoyed the camambert starter and the cranberry sauce. The fish cakes were nice and moist. The wontons were not my favorite, too dry to my liking. The Melva pudding was perfect for a cold winters day. Friendly and helpful staff.

Absolutely shocking venue. I have been in here a few times just for a quick beer and then left. Well priced drinks and nothing too fancy, which is nice for a change. No complaints, really other than not a lot of room to sit.

However, I went here the other night, and the geriatric bar lady was ridiculous. Arrived at 19H00. The bar was fairly quiet, with most of the other patrons sitting on stools at the bar. I approached the bar and made eye contact with the old bar lady, and gave a quick wave in greeting. She looked at me for a second or two and went back to sitting on her phone in the corner of the bar. Ignoring myself and my partner. Waited another minute or two. She noticed me and still ignored me. Eventually, we walked all the way to the other end of the bar where she was sitting, playing some brain-dead game on her phone to order our drinks.

I was barman myself for many years. If someone approaches the bar, you approach them and serve them. Where she was seated in the corner, people were seated at the bar, making it difficult to squeeze in and order.

Last time I will be going here.

TL;DR: Not a lot of seating, kak music, rude geriatric bar lady, and slot machines.

I cant rate the food but the vibe and the people are very very friendly but will be back there to taste the food and leave a review we where just there with people we met and had a few drink

Very unassuming corner property, by the roundabout (hence the name) but great friendly service and homely atmosphere. Francois, the owner, is normally there keeping an eye on things.

Open daily till late, with full bar and simple menu of really good pizzas and bar snacks (chicken wings & nuggets, fries, etc).

There's a pool table for patrons to use and small garden area for children to play in.

We had a lovely late lunch yesterday. Sat outside, where it was sunny and quiet, though shady tables were also available.
Excellent service, friendly & warm smiles (thanks Richmore!!). Generous portions, tasty and nicely presented. Would definitely return.

Over all a great place to host any kind of party or just chill with friends.

Some of the staff could be a bit friendlier. But other then that nothing to complain about.

It definately has a very welcoming vibe especially when the owner is there. A great variety of delicious sauces to choose from and the best pizza in town.

Affordable prices is also a bonus.

It was 30-people function including Lamb and Chicken Spit Braai. The food and the Braai experience were very disappointing at R500 per person. This price does not include any drinks or desserts. The point is that I expected a Braai experience but the meat tasted and looked like it was oven-roasted or pot-cooked, and was between so-so and okay. Regarding the view, all I could see were apartment blocks and construction sites. If the place used to be a farmland in the past, well, not anymore. Maybe it is okay as a Pub, but absolutely not for the intended purpose. Well, unless you adjust your expectations to it. Some people seem to like the place. Fair enough.

Love this pub.. the people are friendly and for those who like the gambling machines.. they do have.

We had a wonder night. From the moment we walked in everything was great. Staff has a welcoming and friendly attitude when serving, music was upbeat and at a sociable level, food is great and the drinks are not to be underestimated. This place is a must if you are in the area. They even have this nice braai place and outside area. This will be a new favorite for us.

Really great place. Awesome well priced food. We had burgers and they were top class. Highly recommended. Cheesecake was also fantastic. So many good meals.

A fantastic hidden gem in the southern suburbs. A real nice venue especially on those summery days as they have a fantastic outdoor seating area nevertheless they have plenty indoor seating too. The staff are friendly and helpful and service was great. They have a wide menu with tasty drinks and food all round. There is plenty free on site parking and the venue is wheelchair friendly. Highly recommend

Don’t let the review fool you, this is a whites only spot! The service and people are horrible. Racist all around! Today was accused of being EFF because I’m black. When I was leaving the manager grabbed my drink from my hands saying I shouldn’t leave with them, I did not have a problem with that but I would have wanted her to asked me and I would have agreed. When I retaliated from this woman putting her hands on me, I was attacked by the patriots (whites). Black people pleas stay away from this place. It’s a racist zone! And to think me an my bf thought we have found a peaceful escape from load-shedding 😔

So this response below was just for show, nothing happened after them making contact with me. If you are black just avoid this place period

Nothing changes your life like eating a raw Chicken Liver. Food used to be excellent, now I take a hard left to avoid after the last experience. Your staff and establishment deserve a decent chef running things in the kitchen.

Great atmosphere and lovely and friendly vibe just to be there and part of the family.

I wish I could give 6 stars! My husband took me today as a date "night". I loved it! The staff is amazing! The guests made us feel welcome! The food 150%! I love ribs and steak so naturally that's what I ordered! Amazing! Fell in love with this place. Found out they are closing next year. I immediately booked my son's birthday there. This place will see me every month for the next year that's how amazing my experience was for a Thursday afternoon ❤

We had the most amazing waiter at our table yesterday. Everything we needed he was able to help us and it really felt like he went the extra mile. I think the tables could do with a bit more shade, the music could be a touch softer and portion sizes a bit bigger, but what a nice place and such a great spot for kids

Been going to this Pub since before it was built. Sadly, these day's it's not the same anymore. Some staff member's attitude leaves a lot to be desired. Don't mind music, but it would be nice to watch some "live sport" with "sound" for a change. It is a "sport's bar" after all? But it's local, the drinks are very reasonably priced, it has Wi-Fi, gaming, pool or darts and the patrons are very friendly...

Use to be a awesome place to chill seen its few streets away from our home. On more than one occasion they claimed to be closed before their stated trading hours.I am not a drinker and because I mostly play slots, we often told the gambling machines are off and/or the pub is closed. Even though its full of people and the machines are visibly on. I was there 30mins ago to be told the same story.

In 2018 I also had a problem of being told to sign machine pay booklet, before the payment was made.The older gentleman then forgot to give the money and when i asked about it he claimed he gave it to me. If the other patrons had not witnessed the whole indecent and defended me, i would not have recieved any money.

Great spot for whole family, delicious food, live entertainment, park and animals for the kids. Beautiful view, great outdoor spot.

It's a nice place to have a birthday party for the kids but not enough shaded areas and very limited items for the kids to play on.

Great bar to be, inexpensive, live sports, pool table and slot machines for those who feel like luck is on their side.

Lovely family restaurant at good prices. Steaks are served as ordered. In my case medium rare. They are perfect evertime. Wifes snitchal was also great. Great views with a lovely family and farm atmosphere. Great to bring children here. Will visit again and will recommend.
Our last visit on 25 May we noted that the chips with the food was less than a half portion. Hope this was just a glitch and that we revert to the norm
