It's absolutely great pub authentic and pleasant food to die for, especially fish and chips. Great value and a great place to visit 👍 😀

£2.20 a pint! Had a great afternoon here after a long walk and a taxi home. Few drinks and something to eat. Will definitely be back.

Stopped for a beer for me and an ice cream for my wife during a walk around and through Dunham Massey. It's a Sam Smith's pub so what a treat. Nice beer garden and excellent friendly service.

Really nice pub with friendly staff, we only popped in for a few drinks. But it was nice and peaceful sat outside in the sunshine, if you're in the neighborhood, definitely pop in for a drink.

A true English pub. Devious pub food went down with the best pint of mild. Staff friendly making you feel welcome. Be prepared, no electronics allowed, you will be politely told to use them outside. More pubs should take note.

Some negative reviews here about, phone usage and children. I'd say well done trying to keep the pub traditional. People becoming addictied to their phones. In this pub people talk to each other. Well done

‘Wandering Wednesday’ this took Hubby and I out to ‘The Vine’ a country pub in Dunham Massey, on the outskirts of Warrington.
Neil had fish, chips and mushy peas with tartare sauce.
I had Homemade chicken and mushroom pie, with mash and fresh veggies, with a side of chips to share…… ‘proper chips’ they were gorgeous.
All the food was piping hot and tasty it twas too…. No waiting, just cooking time.
The lady behind the bar and who served our lunch was friendly and very polite.

Great little English pub. We visit this place whenever we visit the UK. The special thing about it is the use of mobile phones is not allowed. The locals are very welcoming and the beer is good. The new managers are doing a great job. Mark the Chef was good fun and we will go back to try his infamous fish and chips.
