Cute and small cinema but the screen was small. It's best to sit in the middle or the front of the cinema.

It was fantastic experience!! I found staff was friendly and understanding the fact that not all the people are good in Deutsch so he communicated a technical issue in English which is something I would like to appreciate.
An interesting and beautifully decorated museum.

A museum well worth its small entry fee. Quite an impressive collection. They even have some props of the LOTR movies.

Small screen, old school wooden theatre. Very cute and cozy 👍🏻🤗
The Filmmuseum Düsseldorf invites to discover the world of motion pictures. From the early beginnings to modern productions. Many interactive displays show how some tricks in movie production work. On the top floor there is also a bar space. The black box cinema in the basement shows regularly non-mainstream movies. The entry is free one hour before closure as well as on sundays.
Sunday is a free entrance, the place is not too big
There a section for animal actors and how they involved animals in movies over time
And another section for history of cinema and the gadgets that were used
It was fascinating to see such old gadgets and devices
There is a section for ancient arts, such as shadow art
Interesante si estas al menos dos días en Düsseldorf. Deben mejorar y poner los carteles en inglés.

Little bit old-style cinema. Nice ambiente with mixture of people. No salty popcorn :(. Little bit disturbing the use of smartphones all around... guys, it is not just the tone/ sound but also the light. No need to check mails when your are watching a film.

Cool cinema d' éssai.Yoy can see old and author films generally very difficult to find in shops or in the internet. Films are often analogic films and therefore really fascinating. Every month there is a new rich program. I just love it.

Not very good but it really gives a old cinema vibe. There are not many snacks there and they don’t let you bring any that is a negative point. I have seen a silent movie there with live music performance, the music performance was amazing but the movie wasn’t really good and it was kinda boring.

Mixture of informative, visual and interactive displays showing how motion is captured and shown! Some areas seem a little worn out but overall a fun experience.
Very interesting look at film history in many areas of film making. From costumes and props to cameras and editing techniques, lots to see and learn about the history of cinema. Lift for wheelchair access and good space to move around inside. Some pieces hard to see for a wheelchair user but these are only a few out of the huge number of exhibits and displays.
Fui un domingo, por lo que la entrada era gratis, al ingresar nos explicaron amablemente el recorrido, nos dieron guantes de látex para interactuar con los objetos, la experiencia es muy bonita ya que puedes vivir una experiencia fílmica antigua.

Small but cosy room with nice decoration, good movie selection, I just would like that they show more O.V.

Good
This cinema Theater is centrally located in Düsseldorf. The screen is not big but once the movie starts you won’t notice it. They show movies often in original language. The staff is friendly and there are 2 different choices of popcorns! They have both sweet and salty flavours. There are a small lounge inside the cinema and sitting area in the corridors. All in all we had a very nice experience.

I love this vintage cinema! Dedicated staff, selected films, super fresh popcorn, fair prices and even fresh flowers on the tables! Perfect for a classy movie night! N
One of the loveliest and oldest Kinos in Düsseldorf right at the heart of the old town. They show unique, under the radar movies and shows that you won’t find in bigger cinemas. Look for their schedule as you may also find pre-recorded theater programs. Always clean with super friendly staff. Decent selection of food and beverages. And the video and sound quality is surprisingly great. A must visit if you’re looking for the classic Kino experience.

Wouldn't come here second time
People are not welcoming, unconfortable seats and super hot inside. They even turned the lights on before the movie finished. Never again
One of the old cinemas of Düsseldorf. Just in the middle of the old town, you go down a stairway and are feeling like being in another part of the city.
The program is part of the artisan cinema association (Filmkunstkinos) of Düsseldorf

Tiny theater as part of a film museum. Don't expect a high tech Multiplex, but instead something that feels like a student-run underground place with lectures in movie history and special shows for film buffs. Nice!
It is an old fashioned movie theatre. The screen was well lit and watching the movie was not a problem. However, viewing the movie requires looking up and for some seats, looking sideways, which does leave you with neck pain.

Nice small cinema but the trailers before the movie are always more than half an hour long. If I'm paying for the movie it should begin when announced.

Small film theatre with two screens playing arthouse cinema. Located centrally in the city near the Japanese quarter. The cinema also offers English films (or in original language). Friendly staff and clean theatre rooms

The only movie theater in Düsseldorf to play Bollywood films regularly!
