Nice club, great club rooms, and friendly members. If you're new to the area and looking for a club, or simply passing through and keen for a game, pay a visit to Burwood BC. If nothing else, the beer is always cold!! :)

Perfect place for a fun work Christmas breakup with 1990s bar prices.

I don't know why but I didn't feel comfortable at this club. The green was fine, albeit very slow, but there was an atmosphere I didn't enjoy.

Couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating for a family party. Typical club house feel but was able to decorate how we wanted and even ask for specific drinks to be bought for the bar.

We hired Bennettswood Bowling Club for my wedding reception in November, and had the absolute best experience!! Brian and his team made it a wonderful, enjoyable and stress-free journey for us. Brian helped me with the planning through lockdowns (I was able to postpone the booking), the smooth running of the reception, and even with set-up and clean-up. I was so surprised to see how much of the set-up Brian and the team had done for us - they'd set up all the seating, tablecloths, and even fairy lights on the ceiling. Moreover, the hiring cost was very reasonable compared to other venues we looked into hiring. The bar tab ended up being much lower than we'd expected because the drink prices were so affordable. Thank you so much, Brian, Ian, Pete, Steve, the chairman, and everyone at the bowls club for making our evening so memorable. All the guests enjoyed the warmth of the venue and commented on the friendliness and exceptional service provided. Bennettswood bowls has certainly become a very special place in our hearts. We had our wedding at the Burwood District Bowls club in April 2021. Craig and the whole team were so helpful and accommodating. We had to change our date several times over 2020-2021 and they were happy to reschedule and to make things easier for us in anyway they could. They were extra helpful when we had to very quickly move our ceremony inside, as the heavens opened and it bucketed just before the ceremony was to begin! Would highly recommend having a function at the bowls club!

Highly recommend for Friday night Barefoot Bowls. Great kid friendly activity, and super welcoming and kind staff. I'd also recommend checking out the impressive beer selection before heading up to the greens.

Jen is so lovely to deal with and gets back to me on my enquiry every-time. They are reasonably priced and very accommodating. Everyone at this Burwood Bowls club are just so lovely. It's such a great spot and beautiful venue to have a party.
