Came in from the museum for the $15 schnitty burger and got a drink to go with it.

Food came out in great speed especially since we ordered after a big group did.
Server was a lovely gentleman, Aussie bloke that was super cheery and made me feel looked after.
Food was absolutely delicious and I've now found my favourite cider (2 brothers little apple cider)

Hit up the Trivia Tuesday/burger night. Didn't end up with the burger but the calamari was good, fritters had good taste but looked unappetizing, can't order a kids meal as not a kid unfortunately which I believe is a absolute killer pub move so marked down for that.
Trivia was good but ran Hella long. 3.5hrs on a weekday is late

Called in for a drink and a meal. Old styled pub wonderfully decorated in a local style with a strong footy flavour. Had a Rueben and a few beers both very nice hitting the spot! Call in if nearby.

There's not many venues left where local bands can learn their chops. The Workers Club is such a place. The band room is a throw back to the good old days of pub rock and it was awesome to get in there and bounce around to some cool indie rock.

We recently had my daughter's Birthday here and whilst I've always loved the Worker's Club, having a function here is even better! The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and the room was lovely and private too. Highly recommend!

Dropped in for a quick lunch break while visiting the museum. Got 2 $15 lunch special couldn't ask for more. Food was amazing. Chips were delicious.

I hosted my top surgery fundraiser at Avalon The Bar and it was a HUGE success. Brian is an absolute legend and makes everything happen! I feel very lucky to have had my event at Avalon. Can't wait to come again. Good vibes all round.

We went there to witness an amazing live singing performance. The staff is wonderful what they do, they are friendly, hard working, and very accomodating. The place has great room for performances with colourful lights. It has a bar outside the room and inside, too!
Had crumbed zucchini with almond and pomegranate pilaf for dinner and simply loved it. The flavours and aroma were great! It came with a serve of Greek yogurt and tasted awesome!
This place is super busy and lively. The club has accessible entry as well. The location is right at the corner of the street, but it is extremely tough to find a parking spot on the weekends! However, the tram stop is just right as you exit the club, so for public transport users, that wouldn't be an issue!

We had our wedding reception at Avalon and it was the most amazing night. Brian and the team were stunning hosts and everything was seamless in the lead up to the party, and on the night. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect celebration, from the service, to the drinks, location, and the venue itself. It was just so much fun. 100% recommend Avalon for a party or event!

Brian was amazing! So easy to deal with and super accomodating. I had the BEST time and couldn’t recommend Avalon more as the perfect, fun time party venue.

Had my birthday here and IT WAS THE BEST NIGHT EVER! Brian and the staff are absolutely amazing and everyone who attended said they simply had the best time! The drinks on tap are so delicious and the atmosphere was perfect! Will be coming back again for another awesome time! Thanks guys for a great night :))

I can’t say enough good things about this space and its staff after they hosted a birthday party for me and a friend (and about 100 of our nearest and dearest). Brian, the boss, was friendly, accommodating and quick to respond to random email queries in the lead-up to the big night. The venue staff radiated good-time vibes, happily helped with our weird requests and kept our thirsty guests well-watered with speedy, skilled bar service. The space worked wonderfully for mingling, speeches, dancing (great sound system and DJ decks), over-the-top photo shoots and a moment of ill-advised karaoke. I selfishly kind of like that this place still seems to be a reasonably well-kept secret, but would 100% recommend it to anyone thinking of throwing a similar kind of bash.

Cannot recommend this venue highly enough. Excellent space, great service, lots of flexibility. A pleasure to deal with. My friends and I have had four parties here (three 30ths and an afternoon farewell party) this year alone and each have been fantastic.

Amazing venue and vibe!!! Lighting is stunning and works really well in the space. Thank you Brian for being a sensational host and super easy to deal with. This place is a hidden treasure that guarantees an unforgettable time. Avalon bar is a true gem - highly highly recommend!
