My son had 2 kickboxing matches here with Kings of Kickboxing. It's a beautiful place with great places to eat within walking distance.

Mansion 1886 was beautiful and the staff were amazing with the room flip!! Would recommend to any couple wanting a charming and beautiful venue!

This place is beautiful ! It was beyond perfect for my wedding! Brandi was AMAZING!!! She literally helped and did so much to make my day go smooth and it did and it was perfect! I can not thank her enough! Highly highly suggest to have your event/wedding here !!

We recently held my daughters’ wedding and reception at Mansion 1886. Brandi was so easy to work with and her planning ideas were always on point. The entire venue is stunning and made it easy to bring my daughters’ vision to life. The day went off without a hitch and I couldn’t give any higher praise than this. From start to finish Brandi was responsive and helpful. Do yourself a favor and just book it. You won’t be disappointed!

Just had our youngest daughters wedding at this venue and if I could rate it 10 stars I would. The venue is very unique and well maintained. The staff is really what shines at this venue. Amber and Robin are incredible, and Brandy I can not speak highly enough of. Honestly don’t think this wedding could have been so near perfection without Brandy. Heartfelt thanks to all 3 of these fine ladies.

My mom hosted my bridal shower at Mansion 1886. It was the PERFECT venue for my boho disco theme. Brandi was so nice& easy to communicate with! She answered all the questions I had, and was so helpful the day of! They were able to provide champagne for mimosas and served them to all my guests!! My shower was absolutely perfect and I would recommend mansion 1886 to anyone hosting any type of event! 10/10!!

We had an amazing wedding at Mansion 1886. Brandie was great to work with and helped us coordinate everything. The venue is beautiful; there have been renovations, but the main floor still maintains a classic elegant look. Plenty of space and can accommodate groups from small to large. We had around 130 people. Guests were able to park easily in the parking lot and on the street. Highly recommend!

As a photographer based in Louisville, KY we love to work at the Calumet Club in New Albany. The staff there is always friendly and accommodating. With a wonderful grooms room and bridal suite to get ready and capture your day, and a multi floor reception hall that can be versatile with setup, its a great place for vendors like us to capture the beautiful memories you make on your big day. For any event needs, Calumet Club is a great option for our clients!

Had a wedding. Was done nicely and their food was amazing. The chicken was so tender and juicy and the mashed potatoes had so much flavor. Jeep up the good work would recommend this venue

We really enjoyed our wedding at the Calumet Club on Sept 24th, 2022. We had a wedding blitz which meant we had our wedding upstairs, cocktail hour downstairs, followed by the reception upstairs after Amber and her team quickly flipped our space! Our package included access to the bride and groom suites 6 hours before the start of our ceremony time. If I could do it over again, I would have paid to add an extra hour to the bridal suite to have a little more time to setup our wedding decorations that day. I got a little behind schedule that day...about an hour, and that would have been helpful for me personally looking back.

I believe our guests really liked the fact that the ceremony and reception were all in one spot as well.

We loved the vendors we chose thru the venue....DJ Mahan (had Tommy as our DJ) and Stumler's Catering (everyone loved the food and the presentation was beautiful). We also used Mary with Chair Flair to have the chairs covered and she also supplied the wedding backdrop we used for our ceremony/reception and the floor length tablecloths at the head table...she was excellent!

Leading up to the wedding day, I probably had hundreds and hundreds of questions for Clayton, and he was always very helpful, very responsive, and very kind! Amber was also very helpful and supportive. She worked with me on the room layouts for many weeks as my type A personality tried to figure out what worked best, she was super helpful with working with my dad to coordinate a wedding slide show he created that he wanted to show on our big day, and she was very quick to repsond to all my messages!

Never been too an appartment

The venue was great! Has everything you need. The coordinator was very pushy and not friendly at all. Missed several pictures because we had to rush. It was awful. I love this place but we pay for the venue and it is our wedding. So if we need 5 more minutes to finish a picture we shouldn’t be harassed and made to feel we should have done first look so we can be on the worker’s schedule and not our schedule (it’s our wedding so it should be our schedule). Other than that everything is awesome. The cater they use is amazing! The DJ is the best ever!! The place is absolutely beautiful and my friends all commented on how beautiful it was. I am happy we chose this place. Just wish we didn’t get rushed and made to feel like what we paid for doesn’t matter.

All I can say is the calumet club is amazing! I was there recently & the entire staff, especially Amber, was kind, professional, & eager to give her best at what she does best. The venue is beautiful & I enjoyed hearing the history behind the building & all the care the Bliss family put into the restoration of keeping it a prominent structure in New Albany. The rooms are decorated beautifully & provide the perfect environment for any special event! Kudos to all of you who work so passionately to provide wonderful memories to all who pass through!

Incredible venue and staff. Magical and incredible photo ops and room designs without even needing a lot of decor. Amber especially made our day so easy going and stress free. We will need to name our first born child after her, because she truly made our wedding experience a DREAM. Wish I could give 20 more stars.

My brother and his now wife had their wedding there last night and it was, absolutely, the most beautiful wedding I have EVER seen in my life. The building is amazing. It has so much history and character, with the chandeliers and sculpted door frames and crown molding! It was completely breath taking!

We were the first wedding that Mansion 1886. The first time we walked through the building before the remodel, we were a little worried but excited. I am so glad we went with them. My Husband and I wanted more than just a room. We wanted an experience and as soon as you stepped in you saw that. You walked through the gorgeous doors you couldn’t happen to fall in love with the space. Everything that the owners said they were going to change went above our expectations! From the new floor to painting the ceiling grey and white it was perfected!
There were some last-minute details to work out and Kelly and Brandi were amazing to work with. They helped us design the table to still social distance but allowed us to have a huge head table and dance floor. They helped us workout a timeline of the event and set up all the alcohol and bartenders which was one less thing I had to worry about. We knew there would be a few things not 100% as this was their first wedding event, but there was not 1 little hiccup!! Thank you so much for all your hard work in making our wedding the best day of our lives. It would not have been possible without you all. All our guests had a wonderful time and couldn’t praise the venue enough. It was so lovely to see it all come together so beautifully on the day – and that is all down to you guys – thank you so much again!

What a wonderful place for an event

Scheduled a tour of the facility. Waited in the cold for someone to arrive. Finally received a text saying the person wouldn't be able to show me the facility. A call beforehand would have been nice. Doesn't instill confidence that they would be able to coordinate a wedding.

I just had my bridal shower here last weekend and everything was SO perfect! This place is beautiful and the staff (Keri) went above and beyond to make everything how I had it pictured, helpful is an understatement!! I would recommend this place to anyone!

The most beautiful wedding I have ever attended was held at the Grand Alycia and Dustin Wood. Gorgeous venue and amazing acoustics!!!

Great local venue for a reception, party or reunion. The owner made it very easy for us to get our reservation and deposit made. And the staff was very attentive as well. Clean and organized too...

Nice place

Absolutely wonderful experience. Had my son's graduation party there June 2017 and it was so much fun. Only and I mean only downside was needed more time to set up since we did it ourselves and we brought own food. However I will be having my 10 year Anniversary here in summer 2018 and will have it catered and they will set up to make it less stressful.. They do alot for the price. Over and beyond even the more expensive venues. Very elegant decor and overall ambiance.

Great place for weddings and events has small kitchen, plenty of parking.

This is a cute little reception hall. You can rent it out for special events. They also host a trunk or treat every Halloween. The site where this is also is the location for the Floyd county 4-H fair. It has a large seating area And dance floor. They also have a full kitchen that you can use when renting. The back of the property lines up with community park on grant line rd. You could honestly walk from Newlin hall to the park. The entrance is easy to pull in and out. There are two exit locations, both on opposite ends of the property to easy congestion of traffic. The parking lot is paved, however if you have an exceeding amount of guests then the over flow parking is on a grassy area. During the fair they have, demolition derby, animal shows, tractor pulling, and many other activities.

Wonderful venue! Very nice, helpful, and knowledgeable owners! I definitely recommend this place!

We had our class reunion here. Seems like a pretty decent venue, only downside was the lack of an upstairs bathroom.
