Loved this place! Wonderful ambiance, unique tasty drinks. I felt the bartenders , while being nice and knowledgeable, could have provided more attentive service. A big plus was the event coordinator Kelly chatting with us and making us feel so welcome . I will be back!

Miss Allison the owner is awesome. I had a birthday party at this place. From the first time we met, until the day of the party, she had been very professional and collaborative. Everything was great. I will definitely used this place again in the future. Thank you so much to the team.

Nice open venue, area is nice as well. I sat in the lodge which had a pretty good view. Leaving the venue was bad there wasn’t a clear exit everyone was just stuck not moving due to the gift shop being in the way. The venue should’ve had better security.

5th time coming here, needed to get full experience before reviewing. The place is well kept and very nice looking. Beautiful architecture around the stage and roof. There is a bar on each floor that's accessible easily from wherever you sit. The main entrance is well placed away from Bloomfield Avenue traffic which is highly appreciated because, well, Jersey drivers. Parking is terrible. Everytime, I have lost at least 30 to 45 minutes getting parking having been early to the venue by at least an hour and a half. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in the area in case you show up early and need to kill some time. The entering crowd is handled very well by the staff, however exiting.....different story. I recommend hanging out in your seat a minimum of 10-15 minutes after the show ends to avoid getting stepped on, choking on B.O., or sharing intimate space with someone you have NO interest being that close to. Seating is tight in the upper levels, so if you're over 5'5" or over 180lbs. I recommend trying to sit downstairs. I'm 5'10" tall and weigh about 220lbs. My knees were hitting the seat back in front of me and I could not close my legs. I had no choice but to stand to keep my legs from cramping. Altogether, I like coming here as sometimes great acts perform and ticket prices are very reasonable.

One star goes to the fact that we were able to book the venue last minute.

However once we gave the down payment to the company it seemed we were much of a nuisance to them.
we received minimal help and short responses to our questions.

The other star goes to our host on the night of the event BUT she actually deserves a 5 star and above for her service alone. She was absolutely amazing and did everything possible to make our night memorable.

It’s good- but not worth the price.

NJ/NYC has some of the best Italian food to offer in the world, so we have been everywhere from local pizzerias that also offer other dishes to Italian steakhouses to Michelin star pasta restaurants in the city- that being said, we don’t mind spending a pretty penny on an awesome meal, but this missed the mark.

We have been to bar Franco before for drinks and I will say that they make an amazing cocktail- pricey ($20) but delicious. However, tonight we tried fresco and my expectations were not met. The seasonal burrata with orange slices and honey did not ooze creamy cheese in the center like you’d expect a $21 burrata to. And I could count the chunks of guanicale in my $30 rigatoni amatricana on my fingers. $30 for a basic pasta dish with hardly any meat.

For one cocktail, one glass of wine, burrata appetizer and two rigatonis we spent $129 before tip, which isn’t HORRIBLE, but for $60+ a person I want to be wow’d by my meal and not feel like there’s more to be desired.

Nice local theater in vibrant downtown area. Good variety of concerts throughout the year. Many restaurants and public or street parking. Acoustics is quite good, bar area for beverages, decent restrooms although could use some modernization.

Everything was just okay. The staff were great though! The food was fine but compared to their prices, I definitely expected a bit more. It’s also tacky Italian ambiance (chandeliers, framed black and white photos), which is just what you expect in North Jersey anyway.

My cocktail came in a leather pouch (pictured). While I enjoy presentation, a loose cocktail in a leather pouch was over the top and maybe grossed me out given I don’t know how you clean these leather pouches? All the cocktails are $20 and my husbands cocktail was all ice for the price.

If you’re spending $100+ minimum on a meal out and want quality cocktails and a meal, I wouldn’t recommend.

Fantastic experience! Came here after a recommendation and am so glad I did. Cocktails were on point, so delicious and the Lumache was so incredible I almost licked my plate. Service was exceptional. Excellent recommendations for food and drinks. I can’t wait to come back to Montclair and dine here again!

Absolutely stellar experience at Fresco da Franco! Alfredo, the bartender, crafted the most exquisite cocktails, and Octavio's service was impeccable. The ambiance was delightful, and the food was divine. Will definitely be returning!

I recently dined at Fresco, and it was truly one of my best dining experiences ever! The recent renovation has made a world of difference—the place looks stunning, with a modern yet cozy vibe that makes you feel invited.

The highlight of our evening was definitely the amazing drinks. They seem a bit pricey but once you hear about the preparation and taste them, you'd want to pay DOUBLE. When they say crafted cocktails, they mean crafted cocktails. So yummy.

Brian was amazing. From the moment we sat down, he made us feel like VIPs. He was friendly, attentive, and his recommendations were spot on. His passion for the menu was clear and made our experience even better.

Overall, what a face lift! The new decor, incredible drinks, and exceptional service—especially from Brian—make it a must-visit. I can’t wait to go back! Lu Cafe Martini keeps calling me

I had to message the venue prior and they were SO helpful! Nice venue to see a show! Only complaints were that there were no cup holders and we couldn't have caps on waters, leading to spills. Great sound in there.

Saw Frozen Soul, Obituary, Cannibal Corpse, and Amon Amarth.
Staff is friendly and efficient, and I got in with no fuss. Sound is loud enough and decent quality, not the best and not the worst I've heard in a venue. Floor was sticky everywhere along the upstairs seating. AC worked and temp was fine. Seats are wide but low to the ground. If you're in the front of the balcony and are short, you might have the guard railings in your view.
Obituary had next to the band bright white lights shining randomly into the balcony which was instant blindness from an otherwise constantly dark stage. I don't know if it was the band's choice or the venue's, but it was a really boneheaded decision.
Only had water so can't comment on the liquor. There were lots of people were wandering around with beer and popcorn, though.
Parking next door to the Wellmont at the South Fullerton Parking Plaza is accessed from South Fullerton Avenue, and is $30, but it's close, easy, and clean. Traffic snarls on the Parkway around here so budget in some extra time to arrive.
Even though this is a Ticketmaster venue, prices were reasonable. Would return for more metal.

I visited this theater to see The Driver Era live! The VIP line & GA line were pretty organized. The acoustics were incredible. It gets a little hot in the theater, but that's to be expected. The staff were extremely friendly and also professional. It's in a safe area of town. My only recommendation is to just have an idea where you want to park. It's within walking distance, and it's tucked into this plaza type of section, easy to get to.

Went here for the first time this week to see Kamelot, Hammerfall and Ad Infinitum. Decent sized venue with some seating which is small but adequate. We sat in row AA right behind the sound mixer and had a perfect view. Sound mix was mostly perfect and I could hear almost everyone. Parking in the multi-story lot just next door to the venue was convenient.

I honestly 100 percent enjoyed throwing my event with Allyson up until she showed me a side I never thought I would see while spending almost $3000 with a business. When it was time to pay I just asked for an hourly breakdown of what the total was and Allyson started raising her voice at me saying”I have no right to ask her any question.” She also stated that “ my white customers never give me this issues.” I was very confused by that statement as we are both black and have a West Indian background. Everything went smooth and I even paid extra for staying 40 mins extra and for her to still disrespect me left a bad taste in my mouth. I would never throw another event at this venue. Especially now knowing she thinks of her white customers more highly than her black customers.

The absolute best it’s beautiful BIG and Comfortable. They are just amazing answered every question and made everything so smooth for my baby shower I couldn’t thank them enough! I’m definitely booking more events here!

We hosted a luncheon here for about 90 people - a total buyout of the restaurant - and it was perfection. The menu was family style and the food was delicious, beautifully presented and the sharing made for a really fun, friendly vibe among all the guests. And the cocktails look beautiful and taste even better.
The service was wonderful - lovely, professional and very accommodating.
They have a wireless mic and sound system, so you’re all set if you need to make toasts or anything.
Would highly recommend and absolutely plan to be back for another event, or just dinner.
Rich and Moe were particularly great to work with, and made our party a huge success.

We’ve seen great shows here over the years. Highly recommended even if you have to travel to attend. Gave a meal at one of the many great restaurants in Montclair then enjoy a show!

Myself and five others dined at Fresco Da Franco last night and everyone could not have had enough great things to say about our evening. First off The food was amazing. We ordered one of every appetizer and then each got our own course, followed by dessert. The attention to detail in plating the food was top notch. Not only did it look delicious, it tasted even better.The famous bespoke Italian cocktails were creative and delicious, unlike any other cocktails in the area. It truly felt like we were in Italy! Lastly the staff could not have been more attentive and friendly, offering suggestions, pairings, etc. Fresco da Franco/Bar Franco is the perfect spot for any occasion. Highly highly highly recommend.

I found 18Label Studios via The George when I was venue-searching for our NJ wedding. We wanted a clean and modern, industrial space to host a memorable party to celebrate our marriage. We used 3 of the studio spaces + the outdoor space for the event which included an on-site ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Our favorite memory was the incredible work that 18Label and our vendors did to flip the spaces and transform each studio into a magical, celestially inspired wedding venue. It was a warm November evening and our guests loved being able to hang outside by the fire pits to lounge, chat and play corn hole.

Our incredible planners, The Joy Standard, worked seamlessly with KC and Encore Catering to make the most of the studios.

The ladies were very professional, helpful, and kind! The venue is spacious and clean. I would definitely have another event at The Loft!!

Ok, my friend had her 50th birthday party here and I must say it was fantastic. The place itself was a very nice party spot with just enough room for personal friends. The food that was passed was absolutely delicious. It was a variety of Butler passed style food but not just orderves. They had Salmon, Lamb Sliders,Grilled Scallops Just name a few. It was by far one if the best food party's that I've attended. They had an outside vender do the bar and they were great. This is the spot and I Highly recommend it.

I hosted my sister’s Harry Potter themed baby shower at the Loft. The venue was absolutely incredible and fit the theme perfectly with all the exposed brick. The venue is extremely spacious and can be tailored to any event. Te'Niijah was wonderful to work with and went above and beyond to assist our guests with parking, when a last minute festival was being held in town. 10/10 recommend The Loft!

The Loft was an exquisite event location located in the heart of Montclair. Not only it was spacious and beautiful. The customer service was unbelievable. The event coordinator who I was assigned helped out every step of the way. The place was clean and all the furnishings were intact and available when I needed it. Overall, I am looking forward to hosting another event at the location. Many people are still talking about how beautiful the place was and how much fun they had at my event. Definitely a five star review.🏆

The Loft hosted my 50th birthday celebration and it was perfect! Te'Niijah was so easy to work with, the space was perfect to create your own vision and in the perfect location. The kitchen amenities made it so easy for the caterers. I would recommend The Loft to any family and friends who are looking for a venue for their special event!

I had my Nikah(Muslim Wedding Reception) here and it was such a beautiful experience ❤️. Would definitely recommend. In fact, one of my guests booked their husband’s retirement party here after my reception.

A vast Event Place, with a real Industrial, Cool vibe! I attended my Nephew's sons Bar Mitzvah, on a very stormy Saturday Nite. But, the weather couldn't dampen the Electric Feel at 18 Label Studios! The DJ's had the place Rockin', and a Fabulous Time was had by ALL! The food was very Delish; the wonderful Theme, of protecting/enjoying our National Parks, was felt in every corner of the venue. Only drawback is parking is limited, so have to park away from the place, and the Cement floor is very hard on the feet, so wear sneaks, or comfortable shoes! My heeled feet were aching for days...🥳💕😂

Awesome place to host a fantastic party. We had a 90s theme party and it was absolutely great. Allison was a awesome host and we loved the space. We were able to setup food, 360 camera and a massive dance floor. Love it so much

I was here for the MHS reunion and the space was very nice! Spread out enough but still inviting and intimate. I was comfortable on and off the dance floor. Nice choice for any event.

Venue area was nice and spacious but I didn't like the break up of floor space between the dance floor and dinner area. Totally all cinder block made... Venue was cold also but sufficient for usage. They also need to put a handrail in on the dock side at the back stairs so no one will fall.

Recently had a birthday party here for about 45 people. There was so much you can do with the space! The staff were very accommodating as well. The event manager was very kind, helpful, knowledgeable, accommodating, and great to work with. She helped us with the layout of the room, offered suggestions, etc. Thank you so much Chill family for helping us put together a memorable party 🙂

We celebrated our son's first birthday party here the and it was great. Allyson was so nice was and she responds quickly if I have questions. She also give us some tips of what worked best for the event. Will definitely recommend this place.

The Loft is a fantastic event space. They were very flexible and accommodating to my group. We were able to have a great event for 100 people quite affordably because of the Loft and its amazing staff! Ask for Heather, she is great. I add some pictures of our basic set up before the final touches.

We hosted our daughters sweet 16 and it was absolutely amazing. Allyson was so great to work with. Every time I had a question she quickly responded. She helped me plan my event providing me suggestions on what worked best. The day of the event she was available at all times to help out. My family loveeeeeeddddd the venue. The lighting and the beautiful curtains with the star like lighting made it absolutely stunning. I would 100% recommend this venue for any event. A little bit of creativity goes a long way in this venue. You can really tailor it to your needs.
