Personally not happy with the red n green ball coaching. Not much of correction. Kids need reminders to correct basics, and I feel they could do better.
Would give 0 starts if I could. Incredibly rude staff and coaches who seem to be bothered to teach. Don't bother coming here, you won't enjoy it.
Attended my first Pickleball Clinic and Nick as instructor was absolutely top notch—patient, clear, motivating—and the other players were so collaborative and helpful! Will return as often as possible!! Everyone including at the desk were welcoming and so nice! I love the Maywood Tennis Club!!
Very bad experience scheduling makeup classes for kids in clinics - they don’t give you any slots that work for you and keep you waiting till the session expires. Classes are expensive and the management inflexible. We have been going for 5 years and loved it BUT in the last year there has been a major decline in customer experience from the management.
Really great place to play and to learn pickleball. Their coach / instructor Nick W. is amazing and a real pro; my game has improved immensely thanks to him! Nick can take your game from beginner to as high a level as you want to go, I'm now a 3.5 in a fairly short amount of time and I attribute that to Nick. Reasonable prices and a nice group of people running the place.
The best place to be in town! reasonable price, super friendly, and great Instructors! I have been going here for a few years and I have the most fun on the court! My girls also had great lessons there too. Love the drill and play on the weekdays!! so much fun 🤩
Excellent facility. Staff are professional, friendly, and the pros are all amazing. Each one has a different style, and really cares about each player trying to become better. Marc is my favorite and is a national treasure. I've become much better because of his teaching style. I can't say enough good things about MTC. Pricing is also very fair compared to some other tennis clubs in Bergen County.
The best tennis club in Bergen County. It has clinics and classes from beginner's level to advanced level for all ages. Seven full-sized indoor courts. The tuition is even cheaper than others in Bergen County such as Edgewater, NJ. Some of coaches are former tennis players who competed at the Olympic Games.
I strongly recommend this club when your kids or yourself start playing tennis.
