I attended here on a regular basis with special needs. Olympics and the staff here are wonderful.

Spend at least an hour a day here for the boys hockey and other events sometimes I feel like I spend more time there than home . Lots of welcoming faces from volunteers and staff . Usually adequate parking and seating and the fries and poutines make the best rink food

The Arena overall is really nice. The rink is warm and usually clean. Theres always no trouble to find a seat and it’s has a nice walk track on the top

Went to the Farmer's Agriculture Show. Very well organised and had interesting stalls that showcased a variety of local producers including honey, dairy and meat products. There were also many information stalls on conservation and the environment. Great visit.

It’s an ok rink shows there are awesome and same with hockey games however some more signage inside would be nice

I went last week for skating i they don't have equipment but that guy guided me so well how to get stuff. I would rate more about service. Great service ❤

We visited as guests to a party. My kid had an awesome time, the staff was wonderful, and the place was very clean! We will definitely be returning again as a family :)!!

Last weekend, the GGSS held a graduate student event at the Saturday night Rock'n'Bowl. The place was lovely, the game was fun, the price was right, and the staff was fabulous. We particularly wanted to thank Susan who was SO patient, professional, and kind when dealing with our large group. Susan, you are our hero!! Will definitely be recommending this as a repeat event :)

Been going there for years! Mom used to coach youth bowling. Now I return years later to have fun and relive memories. Good lanes, friendly staff, and amazing food!!! Their mozza sticks are the best I've ever had, in my opinion!

Best sports arena and convention centre on this side of Newfoundland.

We held a wedding at the Civic Center on June 25th 2016. We rented all three meeting rooms which open into one large room. They were much more affordable than other venues in the local area.
The room was easy to decorate and functioned perfectly for the wedding. They laid down a dance floor for us and provided tables, chairs, cooler, and also have a sound system to rent.
The staff went out of their way to be helpful even though there was another large event the same week. They made sure we had everything we needed to make our big day a wonderful success.
We also used their suggested caterer "Jennifer's Catering ". We chose the buffet and all of the guests we're blown away by the variety and quality of the meal they provided .
Thank you so much to the staff of the Civic Center for all they did. We certainly recommend this facility if you are planning a wedding or other special event.
