So cute! The pastries we had were delicious 😋
The staff behind the counter was very rude and acted as though they couldn’t be bothered. I ordered a sandwich and asked for turkey to be added. The girl argued that it was a different sandwich on the menu. The situation got increasingly uncomfortable. She then looked at the menu, where she couldn’t find the sandwich she had said was there. She then blew me off and the rest of the transaction was just painful. The worst was when my food came though, and instead of the turkey being on the sandwich, they’d put it in the salad. I was very clear in what I asked for. Just a bad experience overall.
Beautiful pastry case with many options, friendly staff and tasty food.
Excellent croissants, pan au chocolate and kougn aman. Frequent long lines, at least on weekends.
Went to dinner here recently on a date night. Lovely place, have been here a handful of times. Each time the food has been incredible! Highly recommend! Great drinks as well!
I bought a few items - they seemed expensive but they were a gift so I sprung for it. Then I found THE EXACT SAME PRODUCT NEXT DOOR FOR ALOMST $4 LESS. So I went to the cashier and asked if I could return the items - they said only for store credit and when I told them how much cheaper the items were next door she just said it was “strange” and she was sorry. The items next door were not on sale. So I guess at Provisions you pay a bouge tax. Also shocking that a grocery doest allow returns - especially when you catch them out on their price gouging. Not a good look.
Gorgeous store! (See my photos) Great gift items, or treat yourself. Emphasis on kitchen items, small, high-end trinkets, flowers and nice wine selection (with knowledgeable wine staff). I bought a few gifts & 3 diff. cheeses, bottle of local, Willamette Valley pinot noir & olives. (We parked easily in their lot.)
This is a great place to poke around if you need something did related for a gift, or just something interesting to play with for yourself. Today, I saw smoked honey from a local Portland company. I may have to try that out. The breads in the coffee shop are quite nice. A quite place to relax on a hot afternoon.
