This is the second time our school has hired the Mobile Digital Planetarium and our students have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The content was adapted to fit in with our current themes and age ranges of our students and extended their learning. We are delighted to learn that the digital domes offer other subjects and look forward to booking our next experience exploring geology!

Our school in the south west had a visit yesterday for both years 3 & 5. There has been so much positive feedback from both the children and staff. Parents are even commenting about how they actually know what their child did at school rather than getting the usual "nothing"!

Mario visited us at school and set up the 3M dome in the hall which was up all day. He showed a different programme for each key stage and also set-up a staff relaxation session at lunchtime. The children and staff thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Thank you for making it a wonderful day for all.

Such a fab experience for my class of year 6. We grouped with 2 other classes for the day and it went really smoothly. The video of Charles Darwin and The Theory of Evolution massively impacts the teaching of our new theme for this term. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing! We invited them for our school on east London, and I must say every single child thought it was amazing! Our children with autism were also amazed and sat through the entire programme. I recommend to everyone! Definitely worth it.

It is a terrible place to go to don’t go

I booked the largest planetarium to host 3 fundraising planetarium astronomy shows for my volunteer nature conservation group. Show 1 was for age range 5-7, show 2 was for age range 8-14 and show 3 was for anyone aged 15-99. Each show was different and pitched perfectly for the age group concerned.
Mario encouraged everyone to ask questions and showed his deep knowledge of astronomy while at the same time suiting the answers to the audience. Many new images were shown to support the answers to the questions.
As the organiser of the event, taking bookings, I had to be very clear about the number of places, the timings of the shows and a number of other details. Mario's briefing was excellent and it was easy to check with him, as I set up booking pages on Eventbrite that the information was correct.
I arranged a couple of volunteers to help greet people at the venue. Our tasks were very light and Mario did all the work of welcoming people into the dome and encouraging them to sit in the best viewing point.
I would definitely book Mario and his dome again and will be looking at his website to see what shows other than astronomy are available with a view to perhaps arranging a special anniversary celebration show for friends.

Immersive Theatres attended our large special needs school on 26/27-03-23 in Crawley. Prior to visiting, Mario was responsive and extremely accommodating and flexible with the complex needs of our group and nothing seemed a problem. The dome is fully accessible so allowed all 220 children from our school full access to the experience. Mario supported the teaching team to find suitable programmes across an extensive catalogue of shows and even ran lunchtime staff wellbeing sessions that were happily received. Overall, our whole school had a fantastic 2 days being immersed in our topics. Fantastic. Thank you :)

We have been delighted with the early years provision offered by Clifton High. Our son and daughter really enjoy their time there. They started in The Hive/Reception and have progressed through. We have found the pastoral care, small class sizes and excellent, caring and dedicated school teaching and support staff have been perfect for our family. Our children have grown in confidence and developed strong friendships. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the school and look forward to future years.

The Hive has been an amazing pre school for my children. Having tried various different establishments both my children have thrived in The Hive. I have an September child who benefited greatly from the structure of a school setting and a young July boy who I felt gained the confidence required to prepare him for school. The teachers and staff are amazing and every day I feel so grateful that my child is surrounded by such individual care and attention to help them flourish.

Really lovely school with caring and kind staff that go the extra mile. My two boys have been there since nursery and are thriving with the small classes and excellent pastoral care. The classrooms are bright and airy with high ceilings and they are constantly updating their outdoor spaces.

If your child loves nature they will love the on-site forest school with pond dipping and mud kitchen. Lovely school trips to local attractions like the zoo and @bristol as well as further afield to farms and Tyntesfield to support the curriculum.

Excellent online provision during lockdown.

I have two children in the Infant and Junior schools and both are very happy at Clifton High. I would highlight excellent pastoral care, small classes, high ratio of teacher to pupils, a spacious and welcoming physical setting and a warm, personal and caring environment. The provision during lockdown and virtual teaching has been excellent, with an abundance of work and a good flow of communication between the school and parents to make sure all is on track.

(from primary/infant school perspective) Great school and very adaptable to working parents in general offering cover for a full working day. During lockdowns the provision has been well balanced with extension provision should the child wish to do more. Lovely teaching staff throughout, lovely facilities as well as supportive parents community. My little one loves to come to school every day and even is excited about the online lessons (lockdown) every day. Highly recommend.

My son has settled in very well and loves the preschool. This is all because of the wonderful staff and care that is given to the children. There is always good communication between home and preschool which we find very useful. We are very grateful to the amazing staff at the Hives.

We moved our daughter to The Hive from another setting. It was the best decision we made! The staff are so nurturing and kind and have really taken the time to get to know us as a family. At the same time, they have been encouraging of my daughter’s fierce independence and it has been a joy to watch her thrive. She is always full of smiles and stories from her day, and even asks to go to The Hive at weekends! The set up and resources are wonderful (the magnetic wall in the STEM room is amazing!), allowing the children to explore freely but also gently preparing them for school with tailored reading/writing and phonics activities. The focus on getting children outdoors daily come rain or shine was a real attraction for us as our daughter is a little naturalist and loves being outside. She particularly loves their outdoor area and sometimes toasting marshmallows on the fire! She adores bringing home the library books from school each week, which is a nice touch. Overall we can’t fault it and during these uncertain times of lockdowns and Covid, it has been a wonderfully stabilising, caring place for her to go and to feel a sense of normality. So thank you to all the staff. I have also been told that my cooking is no where near as good as school, which judging from the pictures I have seen of the wonderful food the cook makes, I think she is probably right! Thank you to all at The Hive for creating this little piece of magic.

This pre school is amazing. The teachers are passionnate, engaging, lively, energetic and so great about sharing moments of pride they see within our child.
My daughter absolutely loves the school and the staff.
I highly recommend this school.

Mario traveled all the way from Bristol to our local village hall in Guildford with his 4m dome for our son's 5th Birthday party. We can’t say enough how fantastic he was throughout the process and how brilliant his performance was. Working closely with us for many weeks leading up to the party, he created an exciting programme of bespoke content, that resulted in a highly interactive show that combined the perfect balance of education and entertainment we wanted. I felt that he happily welcomed our ideas and embraced incorporating new elements to his programme, such as games and quizzes, to enable a 'reward' element to the party that were after.

Mario' patience and rapport with the children (and with my demands!), his enthusiasm for the subject and our particular event , alongside his professionalism and characterful delivery, made for a really successful , unique and importantly for us, non-stressful party.

The audience loved it and the messages and feedback I’ve had from both children and parents alike has been overwhelming. So thank you, Mario, for all your hard work and the extra time that you spent to include the personal touches that we so wanted to achieve - you smashed it!

Compass Point South St School & Children's Centre is great school and have good manegement my kids attended since 2013 the school deserved more then 5* but I cant find more then 5 * thank you

I am in year 4 at The Dolphin School and my school and I got to learn there for 1 and a half years! It's a lovely school with lovely teachers so your child, yes YOUR child could have found the school of their dreams!

Crap school not happy let my son starve but then I sent him in with a packedlunch filled with his favourite things the next day and apparently it's not good enough it's a concern but my son who at to starve all day wasn't a concern? Grow up pathetic place of a school currently looking for a new school as my son no longer wants to come here and said his teacher has really upset him!

An amazing new school in this historic building in the heart of Montpelier. The staff are enthusiastic and the teaching is excellent. The children have a fantastic learning experience here, including regular forest school sessions at St Werburgh's City farm and Boiling Wells. As it is a new school it hasn't been visited by Ofsted yet, but my daughter has received an amazing education there as part of the first intake at this school.

Today, with my business Immersive Theatres, I delivered a 5m digital planetarium experience to 120 Year 2 students at Filton Avenue Primary. I was warmly welcomed by the site manager when I arrived and he helped me move my equipment inside. The day was well-organised with all groups arriving on time. The excited but well-behaved students enjoyed peering up at the planetarium night sky, visiting the International Space Station and travelling across the Solar System. Thank you Filton Avenue Primary for a very pleasant visit.

My son has been going to the nursery for about 2 years now. They are generally wonderful, he's stimulated, they have the right amount of staff and the staff spend a lot of time with the kids. Would recommend, but as usual the waiting list is long!
