My son attends this school he is in his 2nd yr and i am very pleased what's my son's academics he was never a child that wanted to do work and it was always a struggle to get him interested in his school work. Since he started at this school doing the in-person learning he has improved his grades are no less than a B+. The staff the principal everyone has been a big help and improving my son's academic learning and I'm so thankful for that I would recommend this school for those who are actually serious about learning and moving on to college.

The worst part of this school is that they always wait until the last minute to tell us what we have to do to graduate. The only good part of this school is the P.E.C building
I used too go to this school pre- K to third grade and it was AMAZING Now im in 6th grade ready to go
And Ill never forget my friends and classmates.

It be lit. They have the best over night field trips, actually decent lunch, no uniforms, and you still learn stuff because they help you when you ask for it, and more than half of the teachers are pretty chill..sometimes lol

I started middle school here and I still remember that day it was vary welcoming and I was there for 2 years it was an experience it was great from what I remember every one was nice the staff and the students always trying to help me because I was a trouble maker and they did everything they could to try to straighten me up I regret VARY much not trying my hardest like I should have if you take your children here except great things there an amazing school I only wish I was still there
My daughter says "it's a great school." I wholeheartedly agree.
I graduated in 2010. I have fond memories of this school. It’s one of the few schools that I truly enjoyed and made friends.
One of the best school of public health
My step daughter was harrased and bully and they didn't do nothing at the end she did something wrong and they didn't care about her .they let these kids get away with it .alongs as they protect there school some kids get over look it's truly 😢.What she did was wrong but them not helping her was more wrong.smh
I don't have kids who go here but I know people who do and it seems like it's a pretty good school from what I hear the kids that go there a very respectful they wear uniforms and I believe they have grades through 1 through 5 cuz it's an elementary school I walked past there everyday and like I said the kids are very respectful well disciplined

I went here for pre-k and kindergarten it was amazing I knew all the students even the middle schoolers
I give Barclay 4 cause i was practically yelled at over the phone for asking a question or the lady was just loud they need someone new
Very good and safe school
My don is there and it’s amazing how good he become to most everything.👍
Mr D. is awesome and all the teachers are approachable and want the best for your kids. It's a very communal environment with great diversity. The parents are all wonderful and not at all pretentious. There's room for improvement, just like at any school, but on a shoestring budget, no school does better.

I am surprised at the change within the schools morning routine. Never in my time there nor my childrens time there have i ever had to go to the office to give my i.d. and wait for a print out. Then to only go back after i drop off my grandchild to get my i.d. back. Because of this....the office and hallways are always crowded and people are literally bumping each other to get through. Also....there needs to be more montioring in the afternoon. There are fights on the playground..older kids are running out of the school and knocking little children over and cursing among themselves. So sorry to be a debbie downer....but things needs to improve at the school...not get worse.
This is my last year as a parent here and I am sad! I have been a parent at RPEMS for 13 years and the school just gets better and better. Love Mr. D. And all the wonderful ladies in the main office. Teaching is great and PTA is the best PTA in the known universe.
I go to Roland Park now and I just became a seventh grader. Last year some of the teachers were really strict but in the end they're really nice!
My old school
I have two children at this school (2nd grade and kindergarten). They have both been offered opportunities for gifted and advanced learning and come home happy and brimming with knowledge every day. They enjoy recess, art, and reading time in the gorgeous new library. My husband and I are so happy with the school environment and the excellent quality of the teaching.
Roland park is the best school ever I have so many great friends and the teachers are super nice also we do the best week long trips it's a great experience

We have been so happy to be a part of Hampden Elementary/Middle School. The teachers are caring and dedicated, and the students are always engaged and involved in their own learning!
It was a good School. The teachers was very nice n thought my son a lot
HEMS #55 is amazing! Wonderful teachers and administrators and tons of parental involvement. Smaller class sizes (relative to other Baltimore City Public Schools) make for a great learning environment. See for yourself at one of the regularly scheduled tours.
I have a son in Kindergarten at Hampden EMS #55 and I am pleasantly surprised by how wonderful his experience has been so far. He loves school, his teacher, and his classmates. Before deciding to send him to Kindergarten at Hampden #55, my husband and I looked at many charter schools and even a private school in the area. Now that he's over half way through the school year, I have no doubt that we made the right decision to send him here. The parents that are involved in the school through the PTO and Friends of Hampden 55 have made wonderful improvements. I love that we have such a tight-knit community, and that my son's friends live in our neighborhood now. The school is diverse racially, ethnically, and socioeconomically, which I feel is important in developing character and building empathy. If you haven't toured the school, you should. The new library funded by the Weinberg Foundation is incredible, and Hampden now has a full-time librarian. Overall, teacher turnover is very low at Hampden, which is also a relief for me as a parent. Some things that I feel the school needs to work on are developing after-school programs and/or clubs, and having an onsite after-school program. After-school care is currently offered at the Hampden Family Center or the Roosevelt Rec Center, both of which I've heard good things about, but would prefer if the program was offered at the school.
They have been the true meaning of education and family. They have strength and endurance to make my kids believe in thereselves and have allowed them to know what it is to be a responsible adult through the staff they have. I give BARCLAY 5 star 2twists and a snap......
It was an ok school.

I love this school. I have a set of twin girls that are seniors there. Their averages are 3.6 and 3.8......And I love the uniforms, very professional...👍👍
I like the school but i don't like the shoes you wear bucks
One of the best public health school in the world!
I'm going to be very honest because an education for your child is important. I currently attend Green Street Academy (which I love; I learn a lot of new things) due to not getting the proper education at Roland. I attended Roland for about four years (3rd-6th). I made lots of friends at Roland and thought that everything was gonna go great! I started my 3rd grade year here and I later found out that my MATH teacher wanted to put me back in 2nd grade because of my READING. I had to take 2nd grade reading classes witch messed up my whole year. Fourth grade came and my english teacher Ms. Bock was racist and she didn't pay any type of attention to her African American students unless they're grades were A+'s and she made racial comments towards my mother and we complained and nothing was done. As far as I know Ms. Bock remains a teacher. Around about my 5th grade year, my history teacher Ms. Hoffman was super disrespectful towards me, which confused me as to why, I was a good student and never really got in much trouble. She would pinpoint me as the "problem child" because I'm a very opinionated young African American lady and I'm being raised well. Now, I had already had met the middle school principal Mr. Croson, he didn't like me at all and I'm gonna be honest i believe it was because I'm black. If i had a problem and tried to go to him about it or wanted to start a club or wanted to help make the school better, he would ignore me, throw me out of his office, or give me the runaround. Now Roland isn't completely a bad school academics wise its great, but staff wise not at all. If you're African American you get treated a certain way, the only person you can really depend on at Roland is the principal Mr. D'mabrosio and Ms. Bookman the 7th grade councillor. I feel If you're child is African American and you wanna send them to Roland be alert because there are teachers that wanna help every child and there are teachers that just wanna see the American American child fail. Please make sure your child gets a good education going into Roland because most of those teachers don't believe in American American children succeeding.
This is a great place to go to school, with faculty doing all sorts of interesting research and other work in many different areas of public health. There are many opportunities for students to engage in meaningful and important work. The bureaucracy can be a bit confusing at times, but they are working to better streamline the Hopkins experience across the many different schools and divisions of the university.
It is a awesome school and I go there

It was not like that when I was their.
How it helps Students to participate in several research studies in public health and put concepts into practice.
I attended this school over 40 years ago and enjoyed every minute. I enjoyed the atmosphere the most. The teachers were great. I had good friends, and the bus ride to get here was an escape and adventure all in one. Great memories.
I hat that school
I used to go here and I loved it its really a awesome school
In the mid 1940's my brother and I went to this school as we lived on W 41st Street.
I had my first taste of sucking the juice from a lemon through a candy stick at the Spring outdoor fair. My brother made a recording with others at Christmas time, singing "We Three Kings..." I was pleasantly surprised to see the photo as it remains today.
I hate that school they need to be shut down

My son Mark attended the Baltimore Lab School from 2001-2009. He loved the school, especially the Clubs! He uses the information he learned in the Renaissance Club every day.
This school has amazing staff and students but a low budget
great place and research...but don't veer too far from the campus, otherwise, its the end for you.
