I’m gonna give my most honest and full opinion on this school, as a graduated student it took me a long time to fully come to terms with what had truly happened at this school. I will start off plain and simple and only cover the experiences I had gone though and the experiences of others that I was a witness to over the years. Firstly, the students made the experience absolutely horrendous, everyone in that school was unfriendly, fake and very bias towards individuals, to truly thrive in that school you must fit in their category of standards, either that being a popular kid or conform to their standards of what is deemed acceptable. Secondly making friends is impossible because everyone is too busy indulging in drama consistently, spreading rumours and harassing other students 24/7. I could barely get though my grade 12 year when I was attending that school due to massive amounts of bullying, unwelcomeness, and slander on my name, especially since I never went out of my way to do anything deliberately wrong to people and always minded my own business. At some points I contemplated self harm due to the actions of the students and the constant dread and environment taking place at this school. The only thing that made this school tolerable were the amazing support staff and teachers who in my personal opinions were more than willing to be supportive and helped me reach my greatest academic potential. Ms grieco, Ms Romano, Mrs texiera Tran I love every one of you with my full heart, without you I wouldn’t be where I am today within my academic success. This message isn’t to discourage anyone from attending the school, it’s a fair warning to everyone to be wise with who you befriend and be cautious with whom you decide to interact with, because students there aren’t all what they seem. I liked playing baseball there but then they put up these weird structures where my ball kept getting lost.

Multiple SA allegations by male teachers which a quick google search can confirm.
Unless your morals align, avoid sending your children here.

I was a student from 2013-2017 and know graduates from 2023 who indicate the same experiences. Nothing has changed.

HMS not only checked off the standard criteria what makes a great Montessori school but it exceeds far beyond the benchmark! Here is a school that fosters respect, kindness and empathy for the community! Students and parents have formed wonderful friendship even after the Casa years.

I have been part of the family since this school opened but will say we have all seen some great changes and energy. Great school and a bunch of great kids!!

We had 3 children educated at the Montessori Humbervale and we were very pleased with education they received. They were well prepared, actually they were more than prepared to enter grade 1. The program and the teachers were amazing. I recommend this Humbervale Montessori 100%.

Our two kids attended Montessori Humbervale School over the past few years. I'd give it more than 5 out of 5 stars if I could. It is an excellent, first-rate school and we highly recommend it. The staff are incredibly caring, attentive and child-focused in their approach to learning and interacting with each student. The owner, Ms. Andrea, is simply the best and devotes so much time and effort to creating a positive experience. Our kids are ahead of their peers at elementary school now in many subjects including math and reading, thanks to the enriched, unique education they received through Montessori Humbervale in their important early development years. Huge thanks to Ms. Andrea and the entire Humbervale team for lifelong lessons and memories for our kids (and ourselves)!

Wonderful teachers who truly support the development of children! Well organized, multi-dimensional, inclusive, great resources, implementation of solid fundamentals for children. Principal Andrea is such a caring individual who has created such a marvelous program at the school. Both of my children attended from ages 3 to 5 and received such a solid foundation in fundamentals in literacy and numeracy!! They excelled with the individualized programming and attention given to them from their teachers.

My family loved the over 5 years spent at Humbervale Montessori School. Both my children attended and we have such warm memories. The teachers were caring and dedicated. The school has a wonderful community of parents. Many of the friends my children met on day one, they remain friends with to this day. Ms. Andrea was very accommodating and supportive even after my children graduated. I never worried when I dropped my kids off. They were excited to go to HMS and always had so many positive things to share about their day. I was so impressed by what my children learned. By the time my son graduated, he was solving multiplication problems that were not covered until grade 2! My family loved every minute of the time we spent at HMS. I only wished that HMS could have continued well into high school!

Both of my children attended Humbervale Montessori and had an enriching educational and social experience. Caring and dedicated staff worked with each of my child’s individual needs. I loved the multi-year age group and children having the opportunity to become a leader. A well enriched program guided by exceptional staff. Worth a visit to tour the school and meet some staff to see if it is a good fit for your child. Highly recommend!!

Humbervale Montessori is an amazing school. Andrea goes above and beyond to make the school experience the best it can be. Both my children attended Humbervale and were more than prepared for public school and are still thriving as a result. Thank you Andrea your school is the best!

Humbervale provides students with the fundamentals for success. Our children started Grade 1 with many skills that they needed to be successful and confident. The staff is caring and kind. We have many great memories and our children have created life long friendships Thank you Humbervale.

This school is the home of love, kindness, and empathy. The staff managed by Mr. Fietta (principal) is very helpful and supportive. I truly recommend THCS for its outstanding services and parental support.

Wonderful school with wonderful teachers and administrators who clearly care about the kids and hold themselves to high standards. True accredited Montessori with the mixed age environment and 3 year cycle. I didn't know much about Montessori before sending my kid there and feel fortunate we lucked into such a great school! :)

Amazing staff! The teachers are passionate about seeing their students succeed. The school itself has a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere that is filled with so much love.

Both of my kids are enrolled in the school, started in the Toddler room and went/going through the full program.

Teachers are amazing, they treat the children like their own. The education, care and love my kids have received is always above my expectations. They are like family and I just wish my kids could stay forever.

Don't believe the negative naysayers. This is a well located school with excellent facilities. The staff we have encountered are professional, inclusive and friendly. I would highly recommend this school to all who are considering it in the neighbourhood.

Back in Nov 2013 I was there for the Grade 8 visit trip it was a great school but I choose to go to Father Leo J Austin because I choose to move to Whitby in the summer and they have better IEP teachers to help us with our school work.

Pretty good school. Great if you want to do AP. Not a lot of extra curriculars nor volunteer opportunities. Outside of AP classes, students are quite frightening to be around. Across from the school, there is a Tim Hortons where all the seniors smoke/vape.

On behalf of the grade 7 community at St.Albert (aka Precious & Camille), you are very lucky to have Ms.Miceli as your new grade 8 teacher. She is one of the best, kindest, funniest, and smartest teachers you could ever have. You will be very missed, but we are all happy for your new permanent position.

It's a Catholic School for secondary education grades 9-12. It offers unique extra curricular activities such as drama classes and musical performances, supports creative students. Other academic courses are delivered at a very high level. Most convenient thing ever, all students wear uniform.
