I got my GED from Queens Adult Learning Center and I was one of Mrs Bhatia’s student. She is a great teacher and makes learning very fun for you. I’ve learnt a lot from her. Forever grateful for having a teacher like her.

My name is Rachel Morris I registered on 3/20/2023 for my GED at this learning center which took me at least 4 days to get in ,the whole staff acted like I didn’t belong there. I was in Dr.Malibiran Tuesday and Thursday class from 5pm to 9pm where she treated me VERY unfairly the first incident ,I had eaten a donut and a piece of napkin was left on the desk she took it up and threw it at me and said this is yours, I felt so violated but I didn’t say anything cause I didn’t want to ruin my chances with the program, after that I realize that I was being watched at the school as if I was trying to steal things she would call me to the front by her desk and by the time I get back to my desk I can clearly see that someone went into my belongings, she was asking me about a calculator with the name Wayne on it as if I took it, the last time that she call me to her desk and someone search my things I decided not to go back to the school, I fell into a deep depression and was very disappointed that this was done to me and I hope it doesn’t happen to anyone else that’s why I’m making sure to report this issue where ever I have to.

I highly recommend QALC for everyone interested in getting their GED, I had the opportunity to attend Ms Jyoti Bhatia classes and in less than 3 months I got my GED.
Her teaching method makes you enjoy the classes, even though English is my second language and I still have a lot to improve, it was easy to understand her. It was a very personalized teaching since she always keeps in mind what your difficulties are and helps you improve them, she is always open to answering your questions.
My admiration and gratitude to her and all the QALC staff.

I am studying food serve safe (food handling class) by Ms. Kaur and ESL by Dr. Rayes.
All of the teachers are amazing, very supportive and helpful.
My English skill is growing up and I also passed food handler certification.
School offers fun school trip too! We went to museum, edge, NY mets baseball game. It’s great experiences.

The teachers are very nice, Ms kaur and Ms Reyes.We had chance to experience class trips.

Ms Jyoti Bhatia was my teacher while I attended QALC.She's amazing with her students,always willing to help them out by going that extra mile.Her teaching methods are fun and Interactive which makes learning easy to grasp.
I got my GED in less that 2 months all thanks to her teaching methods.
