Awesome library. Helpful staff and dependable hours and service

Senior yoga it's great I go every week 😀

Love "my" library! The staff is exceptional, and the layout is perfect!

Love this library, nice staff, clean library, great lication

Love this library! It even has a drive through book drop off. They offer many community services like a few pages of free printing that are very helpful. Would highly recommend!

Great venue for my "Trivia and Pop Music of the 1950's" presentation this past Tuesday.

Sitting in this library right now on 5/22, hoping to get some paperwork done and I certainly not feeling comfortable at all. It actually feels warm and stifling, I don’t feel any kind of air circulation even though COVID is still around, Maybe the Library should consider its’ patrons a bit more., as our tax dollars contribute to its funding. Sad!

Excellent library with a great staff and a bright, clean facility.

Do yourself a favor and go to the Middleburg Heights branch for storytime. Don't even bother with this branch unless your child is at least 2 or 3. They say it's supposed to be for all ages but it's defiantly not. We took our 17 month old to the family pajama storytime yesterday. My kid was the only one in pajamas so that was awkward. Right off the bat, the girl running it (Hannah) wanted the kids to sit on mats the whole time. This is impossible for a 17 month child to do. We started by singing a song with clapping and stomping. Then had to skip the next activity because the projector was not working. Then went on to a game of identifying letters in the room. Again - not something a 17 month old child can do. She was too excited and running around. I can tell Hannah was getting bothered by this. We didn't want to disrupt the other kids. We left after 5 minutes. This was a total waste of time and very disappointing. I was looking forward to doing this every week with my daughter. Middleburg heights has a much better storytime with age-appropriate activities. She went to that one today and was much better. My advice is please don't advertise storytime to be for all ages if you cant provide age-appropriate activities. Or hold multiple storytimes for different age groups and lower your expectations for infants/small toddlers. Additionally, I was told that there would be a different librarian each week doing these. That is also incorrect. I called today and Hannah confirmed she would be the only one doing these week after week. I would also advise the library to clean the toys in the children's area better. The small rubber stacking blocks are so dirty they look black. Soap and water/disinfecting is great, but they really need to be scrubbed with a brush, or order new ones completely. The library itself seems nice. Just very put off about our experience yesterday.

For the first time in August, I took my 4-ur old girl to our local branch in North Royalton, she has been reading since she was 3, she now reads on a 1st grade level - she loves to read too by the way - I let her pick out about a dozen books, she was sooo excited and happy… We brought them all back by the deadline Sept 22, only to see there was now a mask mandate for her and I… so disappointed and angry! When we go to the library during the day - we are NOT in a crowded space, the library is practically empty, we were not even remotely close to any people there and we even chked out the library books by ourselves, without a live person’s help. When will u guys drop the mask requirement? Grocery stores, retail stores, pharmacies, big box stores, restaurants, fast food, home improvement stores, pro football games and high school football games, (all huge crowds) have all made masks optional… pls reconsider… How can you say that one of the library’s goals is to foster the love for learning and reading, then require masks, when the public doesn’t need it to eat or go shopping or to watch a sports game? The absurdity! Please drop that and make it optional so my girl can go on a regular basis, that was her very first time there and it was taken away by the CCPL.

I have had many visits with this library and the staff has always gone above and beyond their way to help. The library has a pleasant atmosphere and is perfect for research and study. It also has a good stock of DVD to borrow.
I find it odd that some people write a bad review on account of one employee being in a bad mood in one instance. Such incidents have nothing to do with the library and can happen anywhere any time.

This library is newer and very state of the art. There are a few extremely large areas. The building is light and open and very modern. There are several computers for public use as well as printers and copiers. They of course have books, movies and toys available to borrow. The children's room is very cute and welcoming.

I love this library! I live in a nearby city but I always go out of my way to come to this one. The drive-thru pick up and drop off make it so easy. The children's programs are great. My children love Miss Maria, the children's librarian! She is so great with children!
