You'll often find the high school kids running around, talking loudly, and cursing. Great environment for little kids to learn new colorful words like the f word and n word while trying to read.
Eh. Book selection is OK. Holds are handled promptly. Employees have been helpful.

Good location. Nice little area outside with donated bricks.

*Floods* with all sorts of high schoolers during the week as it's directly across from QOHS. They are very disruptive and take up the needed seats at the computers. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A QUIET LIBRARY, THIS IS NOT IT. THERE IS ZERO ATTEMPT TO CONTROL THESE CHILDREN.
The Gaithersburg Library is very chill and pretty lax on the rules. Going in for the first time I was real confused, but the staff was happy to help me out and it wasn't a problem. Logging in to computers is easy and they give you 2 hours on the ones in the library, but let you use the ones inside the rooms until they close. 5 star library, good place to get work done or read.

Good collection of fiction and non fiction books. Well organized. Courteous staff. Good number of free computers.
As good as anyone can expect. I went there to pick some books for my daughter and the information desk guy was amazing I couldn't found my required book and I just go to that man and he is fast, he checked in his system and took me there to the rack and showed me this is your book. Thanks for the guy he saved me alot of time and also the front desk lady, she did her job very fast. The people who are already using this library are aware of it, the atmosphere is very relaxing.
It is really the best place ever. My children love it.Staff is nice and books are wonderful.I also like how there is a play room.
We call this our new library after the revamp. It’s a fantastic and clean library. Plenty of space for the kids to do the reading, play games, work on computers. They also have a nice play room for the young ones. Just need to reserve it. Staff is pretty good, not all are gray though some of them are new so need some asking around.
Kids area has no toys, only color pencils for drawings; otherwise nice library just not a good branch for young children

Great library, helpful and friendly librarians!
Very well designed library with a pleasant and well maintained exterior. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
Men and Women's toilets closed indefinitely from 10am-230pm due to some incidents there. Patrons advised to use bathrooms in nearby businesses.
Helpful staff, clean and organized. Our children enjoy the discovery room for circle time with mom and friends 😇
A very nice place! Have a good collection of different kinds of books. Other languages section was a surprise for me with books in Farsi. Kids section, study group rooms and study section are great!
I love reading books so I really love going here. So relaxing and very peaceful with wide selection of books. I'm a local real estate agent. By reading it helps me refresh my knowledge and new learnings about real estate. I also met a client here and sold their home nearby.

Cozy library with decent parking. Not as busy as other libraries so I prefer visiting here and staff are generally friendly. Among some of the features are the discovery room and an exclusively quiet study room. The noise levels vary on different times of the day so expect more noise when kids are out of school. The discovery room has to be reserved in advance unless its available on the same day or 15 minutes after a no-show appointment. Due to the small size of the library, there is not a designated play area for toddlers like in other larger libraries.

Great collection of books, magazines, newspapers, DVDs, and audio books. Wi-fi accessible. Very friendly staff.
It still provides COVID tests and face masks for free.
It is open seven days a week.
And no late fees any more.
