I absolutely love this place! The kid’s section has amazing books and a great selection. Genuinely every story we’ve picked up from the children’s section has been amazing. I love using the Libby app as I’m driving. The librarians are all cheerful and helpful. The new building is great and thoughtfully designed.
Great place to have business meeting! Lovely, private confrence rooms available for scheduling.
Great handicap parking and handicap amenities.
The library is so new, spacious, and well organized! I checked out the books for sale and let my kid play in the children area and it was great! We will definitely be back!
We love going to the library. They do so many reading programs and story times. We especially love the baby story time. The teacher, Tiffany, has taught us so many tips and tricks!

My family loves the new library. We love the open feel and the bright natural light. We love the books. We love the various activities that are always going on. Thank you Spanish Fork for this wonderful new space.
The new library is great! Lots of things for the kids to play with. Video game systems for the older kids/teenagers. Programs for preschoolers and other ages. Beautiful inside and out.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Clean and organized (even in the kids are) and I made a reservation of a study room on the spot without a problem. Super peaceful. I don't even have a library card since I live in a different town but come here at times when in town.
This library doesn’t care if your kids get kidnapped. The worker named Emily, and another blond lady cared more about a one year age gap than a child’s safety. They wouldn’t let us have our sister just sit with us in the area know as the “teen zone” she was ONE year below the age limit, and she was not going to play or anything. She was just going to sit on the other side of the area, but these two employees came up to us and just started attacking us, I proceeded to say would you like my sister to get kidnapped then, and both lady’s laughed at us and shrugged their shoulders. This is disgusting behavior, in this day and age that is NOT something you should be laughing about. If these are the kind of workers that will be working here than I’ll pass, and just go to the provo library instead.

What a well done library! Clean, bright, spacious, well organized. Brand new everything, including the selection of books which are unavailable where we live. Lots of fun reading areas with bean bags and cubbies, quiet activities at tables, and computers. My 8-12yr kids found plenty to enjoy, there’s an entire TWEEN section for them with graphic novels, fictional series, nature / crafting magazines, and beautiful displays or themes on the end caps. Restrooms were clean and comfortable! Not the best location, as it’s on a busy Main Street with not much parking, but we enjoyed our visit so much we’re considering buying the non-resident library card.

New library is very clean and spacious. Perhaps it was just a bad day for this person, but we were playing cards games in the teen/young adults section (we are slightly over teens, but still pretty close) in one of the several open booths with no one around, where when I smiled at a passing staff member, she stopped and curtly asked us how old we were. Not even letting us respond, she ticked her nail on the sign saying "for teens" and had us leave. I understand there are rules, but there are better ways to handle it than what happened. Made me feel very unwelcome, and will probably not be going back.
The new library has areas for children and teenagers, but there are no areas for chiIdren in the middle or even young adults. I was in the library with my siblings, each of us young adults (early 20s), and we started to play a card game that was apparently in the "teen section". There were no teenagers in sight and while we were playing quietly, a librarian came and quite rudely asked us our age. Instead of kindly telling us that the area was meant for teens she turned the sign around and tapped her nail on it as though we were children. I understand that there are rules but what I don't understand is why there is an age restriction on card games. (Young adults can play games too FYI). I am very upset with how we were treated and most likely won't go back due to this.
I wish they had at least built the new library where the old one was so you didn’t have to cross Main Street to get to the playground. Such a step backwards for the neighborly feel of Spanish Fork.
The old library had a homier feel. The new one feels sterile. I miss the soft chatter of the librarians too. Now they are all spread out and all looking at screens. Depressing.

All that aside, the new library is really lacking an area for the 8-12 year old kids. I took the kids upstairs to just see what was there and they were shocked at what was provided up there for teenagers. They tried to sit together and play a card game and were asked to leave because they weren’t old enough. That’s fair. The librarian speaking to us said, “there is stuff their age downstairs.” Um, there are two games and one is an oversized uno deck that is awkward. They tried it. The library caters to little kids and teens but that 8-12 age is sorely left out.

I will always be sad they built it where they did. For now though, I am more heart broken at the loss of welcome and comfort in this new space.

As homeschoolers, we won’t stop going to the library but it no longer feels like a space we want to spend time in beyond getting books and getting out.
The staff are friendly and helpful. They have a great set of books and media. They have classes and other events. They also have access to ebooks which helps me. Also surrounded by a great park. Continue to use the library. Just added a self checkout. Can't wait for the new one to be built. Love the Thanksgiving decorations.
