This historic theater is beautiful but be forewarned the seats are so tiny. There's no legroom at all. However, there are no obstacles in the theater and the cast make use of all the areas. The acoustics are exquisite. We saw Sweeney Todd and it was absolutely perfect.

Great acoustics. Not a bad seat in the house. Hillary Hahn performance was well worth the road trip.

Saw Acro-Cats show on a Sunday afternoon. Tickets were 3rd floor bleachers but weren't bad as it is a small venue so view was good. Beautiful theater.

Absolutely beautiful! The architecture alone is worth the visit. It only helps that they also host some amazing venues.

On the PAC website, they publish that assisted listening devices are available upon request; this is a joke. All that they have available are a couple of sound amplification headsets that simply magnify all sound, including noise. Such headsets do not meet the minimum requirements for "effective assistance" as defined in the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Today there are many technologies available for venues in order to really assist individuals with hearing loss. Such things as hearing loops and FM and IR systems with headphones and neck loops are examples of truly effective assists for people with hearing loss. Wi-Fi/ Bluetooth streaming, though actively marketed by audio companies, has yet to be demonstrated in independent studies to be an effective solution for people with hearing loss due to latency issues and being too cumbersome for older (non-techie) hearing aid users.
The UGA Performing Arts Center can and should do so much better.

Saw nickel creek. Best venue ever. Comfortable seats and people just let the musicians play instead of screaming every 10 s. Love the no cell phone policy!

I participated in the wearing white blouse ceremony here. Everyone and there's had a warning party. I liked

WORST VENUE EVER! WAS TOLD I COULD NOT DANCE AT MY SEAT BC IT WAS A FIRE HAZZARD, THEN TOLD ME I COULD DANCE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE EXIT ISLE! MAKES NO SENSE! AVERAGE AGE OF THE AUDIENCE WAS 80! YOU ARE AWARDED NO STARS AND WILL NOT BE GETTING A RETURN VISIT! YONDER WAS AMAZING!!!

ACT is a small intimate venue. There are no bad seats. And there are no bad productions.

Great show by The Studio, dance recital

This is a beautiful, unique venue. I love the seating. Not a bad seat in the house. I enjoyed hearing Itzhak Perlman. 😆

Beautiful theater. Great location for plays/singings, etc. Enjoyed the BCM production of "Singing In The Rain." Delightful, energetic, and funny group of young people raising funds for mission trips to share the gospel with others while on summer break from college. Great entertainment!

Huge place inside to look so small on the outside. I'm glad their parking passes aren't expensive. First time wasn't a bad experience...

Their website sends you to a gov link. You select an option and you don't go anywhere. The whole site is non-responsive. I was just trying to look up auditions. My God. Seperate that site from gov. Bless your hearts. Site is useless. I'll audition elsewhere until it's easier to reach you guys. Ty, and good luck

Modern concert hall with good acoustics. The balcony is not far from the stage which we appreciated. Seats are quite small though and just getting to your seat while yielding to other people can be challenging. All staff was very welcoming. We have enjoyed Mnozil Brass concert very much!

Be wary of sitting in the balcony, areas with zero visualization and they will sell you a ticket fully knowing this. Also, if you have college students that have to deal with these people, they have a very rude guy, that actually made girls from our dance group cry he was so awful and they were paying to use the theater. If you're seated downstairs and don't have to deal with that creep, it's an OK place.

Saw The Importance of Being Earnest this Sunday morning and it was brilliant. The actors were on point. I had forgotten how hilarious this play is. The venue was perfectly Athens… even though it is in Watkinsville! Quirky, natural, and hospitable!

'Hands in players' performing the 'Pollywog Prince" was a great show!

Jan Fest!! Extraordinary opportunity for band students. Worth participating and worth sitting to enjoy their performances.

Beautiful Historic Hotel. Seating was comfortable and the People were very nice. I personally saw Newsies. It was a beautiful play done by great actors. The singing was phenomenal. I will definitely come again, and will probably do so for many times to come. Come here for a little history and a great time!

Professional, courteous, talented and dedicated to making every show the best one yet. That's the Athens Creative Theatre that I know and love. Whether it's a Fall Musical that you're trying your hardest to not sing-a-long to, or a Summer Drama that has you breaking out the handkerchief you will be happy you sat down and enjoyed some live theatre performed by some of the best that Georgia has to offer.

My son had a great experience with ACT. Fantastic caring teachers. He loves it!
