Love this school so much, both my kids now aged 23 and 17 went to this school for many years. They got to perform at Disney World multiple times, universal studios, did production plays and performed around the metroplex. They loved the teachers and the school work helped to prepare them for college.

Fort Worth Actors Studio has been an amazing place to learn film acting. I’ve enjoyed every class. I came from an improv background and thought I was a good actor. FWAS has made me better and thought me details of acting in front of a camera that I didn’t know I was doing wrong. If you are thinking about acting in film or commercials sign up for the Boot Camp today. You will be introduced to concepts and rules you’ve probably never considered before. I’ve been a student since June 2019 and I’m still learning and growing.

On a side note, the friendships you make with other actors are just another reason I love this place.

After years of mustering up the courage needed, I finally committed to attending an actors workshop. My experience with Fort Worth Actors Studio can only be described as “FANTASTIC!”

I learned so much during our Boot Camp. The patient and detailed style of our instructor (Nathan Myers) made my experience comfortable, safe and energetic.

The cost for a 3 day beginners experience was $200. In return I received approx.16 hours of detailed and personalized instruction on technics regarding Audition etiquette, cold reading and much, much more. I also received over 40 minutes of personal camera footage that was shot during boot camp. Most of that footage had corrective coaching that I can watch over and over for practice and reference. Needless to say, i was incredibly lucky as I got the deal of a lifetime!!!

I like to do my homework before I make a purchase and every wonderful thing I heard and read about Nathan and this studio came true. This place is very special and I recommend it to those that respect the art of acting.

You will leave his class with a little “buzz”.....it’s a high fueled by confidence/knowledge.

If I could give this studio ten stars I would! I just attended their cold read boot camp and I can say they are very passionate about their craft. I took this course to get better at public speaking and after just three days, I was more confident than toastmasters had ever made me.

They truly work to create a safe and welcoming environment. I have no acting experience whatsoever and never once felt like I was looked down upon. In fact, my husband said I came home beaming every night! I had so much confidence after this course and I can’t thank them enough!

I never leave reviews but I took the time to write this because for the money they charge, you get at least double that value in information and experience. I highly recommend the boot camp for anyone that might have social anxiety or fear of public speaking or of course, if you want to pursue acting in any form. This course has truly made me a more confident person overall! I will be going back to check out the voice over classes as well because I am officially intrigued by this craft!

I completed a Cold Read Boot Camp and it was INTENSE. I loved every minute of it and I'll definitely be signing up for more classes! The instructors and staff sincerely care about your passions and positively motivate you to improve with practical techniques that prepare you for a major market! I'm so grateful I found Fort Worth Actors Studio!

Excellent instructors. Great compassionate, caring environment to learn in. I am an introverted, shy person and taking classes as well as boot camp really helped me come out of my shell and conquer my fear of public speaking. Nathan really takes the time for his students. I met a lot of great, genuine people there as well.

Fort Worth Actors Studio offers actors and non-actors alike a safe space to hone their craft, learn new techniques, and overcome the fear of being on camera.
The classes are taught by WORKING PROFESSIONALS who have been on both sides of the camera and have extensive knowledge regarding the local acting market.
I took the Cold Read Bootcamp and not only did the class learn and practice the techniques of cold reading (everyone gets in front of the camera), but we also learned what's expected of us when going to a real audition (i.e.. how to be the consummate professional).
I loved the diversity of the students in my bootcamp, from teens to adults and working actors to first-timers. It didn't matter whatsoever, because Nathan runs his classes in such a professional manner that everyone understands that we're there to learn and respect each other.
It truly was a warm, fun and invigorating experience.
I can't wait to continue my journey with FWAS!!

The directors and students in the studio are so supportive and loving; it really helps you feel comfortable and gives you a safe place to learn and grow. D'Lytha and Nathan really want to help all of their students achieve their goals. With the variety of experience levels in one class, you learn not only from the directors, but the other students around you as well. You can definitely get the support and information you need to get started as an actor at Fort Worth Actor's Studio.

I audited a class at Fort Worth Actors Studio last evening and found myself being sucked in by the warmth and energy of this awesome group.

When I arrived Nathan greeted and helped me settle in nice and easy—I was a little nervous. Once the class got started they treated me like I was already a part of the group. I was able to participate in all the exercises and received quality one-on-one time. Also got a chance to watch some great performances being shot on camera. Nathan’s positive reinforcement and constructive criticism really stood out for me during the camera shoots.

I have never acted on camera nor stage before, but was still fully welcomed by Nathan and the members of this group. I left that evening having learned some pretty awesome concepts and ton about the industry.

I will be seeing these guys on January 10 for their Adult/Teen Cold Read Boot Camp/Camera Basics class!
