Always an absolutely amazing adventure!

We went to watch David Space and it was amazing, he absolutely slayed it. The venue is nice, the seats were comfortable and the sound and stage were perfect from were we sat in the middle of the first floor. The drinks are expensive of course, and the lines are long like everywhere but remember they had a bar area upstairs and two on the first floor. Bathrooms are clean and parking was easy. Another tip they had an exit gate out behind the building for exiting the parking so when the event ends everyone goes to the front and you will get stuck so you’re welcome!

Saw Louis Black, comedian. Great show, decent seats and the Luther Burbank Center is a wonderful place. Clean and can drink your wine in the auditorium, with cup holders on each comfortable seat.. Place could use a couple more bathrooms. Maybe make the mens into more womens bathrooms!! Heehee! Anyway, go, see a show!

So hey there if I could give this place less than one star, if I could give them minus 10,000 stars then put them in jail I would do so gladly because what they did to me when the Johnny Cash Experience came to town was in fact criminal.
I'm not going to get into a lot of details but needless to say if you get tickets or somebody buys you tickets for an LBC show make sure that you and your partner that you're going with have seats right next to each other as opposed to eight seats away where you try and sit together because there's nobody there but you get a flashlight shine in your face every 5 seconds by the ushers and rude Santa Rosa residents who just can't be happy sitting the heck down and watching a show they've got to sit in their seats oh my god if they don't they'll die! Finally the show started and I don't know where my friend went but I was enjoying it for about 3 minutes and started to sing and forget about the horror that went on prior and then boom more flashlights in my eyes again and that was it I stood up screaming bloody murder considering the price of the freaking tickets that my mother bought me for my birthday (thanks Mom) and I went barreling down to whatever somebody that was supposed to help their customers but she just didn't do jacko for me so I called that Monday to complain and to get my mother's credit card credited back for that debacle and guess what they basically told me to go suck an egg- too bad but they will take my comments under advisement. Oh really will you because I was in the music business for 20 years and I don't think I've ever done something so disgusting in my life I can't believe this place even exists and I've been in touch with John Carter Cash who is completely mortified and disgusted by it and if they think they're going to get any shows off of that label or even close anytime soon they're sadly mistaken not that they give a flying fahoodledoodle. So thanks to all of you for ruining my birthday that was the only thing I even asked for as soon as it was announced last year and I hope that your place you know blows the heck up and you don't have a job to go to because well I don't know I hope you think of this review when you fall asleep at night and think oh my gosh I'm an a-hole who could have done the right thing but didn't. PS: I'm also in contact with all of my musician friends and record company executive friends across the country and booking agents to let them know to say the heck away from this place because they treat their customers like dog doo doo. Really Sonoma County you think that you are hip? Go suck an egg-you should all be ashamed of yourselves have a supersonic day though jerks.

Great spot for live music in Santa Rosa! Love this place!

Sweet romantic location and excellent for performances!

A wonderful location hidden in the midst of the bustle of A main drag is this curious little location filled with character!

Paid parking is available in addition to street parking and a few restaurants are open surrounding the spot if you want a bite before a show-

A bar was available for tea coffee and adult wine and beer during the performance - so lovely -

2 bathrooms with loads of great old pictures decorating the space.

I went to see a friend perform and it was dreamy the acoustics were great.

The only heads up is if you go in the winter dress warmly in layers as it is a bit chilly as the spot is large!

Northern Lights Art and Light Display:
Everyone saying Merry Christmas to strangers and taking group photos. Lots of families in matching flannel pj's. The lights are so joyful and beautiful it seems to make everyone smile.

Nice venue inside, plenty of parking areas. During winter, they have northern lights you can walk through for free

Came to Luther Burbank for los cien and had a great time! Ample foods to taste drinks and entertainment. A must for next year

Took my granddaughter to see Willy Wonka by Kids. It was great!

In truth, I know very little about this place. Other than that, it's been here for a good while. At least fifteen years. My enthusiasm comes from the modern use of these gorgeous old brick buildings. I'm just so glad that they've been retrofitted for modern use rather than knocked down and replaced. I've always loved this old little neighborhood in Santa Rosa.

Very nice venue for a great play experience. Select a cocktail before the performance and enjoy the cozy ambiance of excellent theatre! Quality experience all the way around. Local actors are superb!

Great venue and production, excellent casts and material, fabulous seating, great location very close to the SMART line and good food---this is an amazing local treasure. We will be repeat attendees for sure.

Real nice little venue. No bad seats. I saw the Transatlantic Guitar Trio. Great show. I'd be happy to do it again.

All I can truthfully say is that a lot of creative talent is present.

Fabulous performance of the Riverdance 25th anniversary show.

I just returned home from the Saturday, April 15th matinee of Always Patsy Cline. It was Excellent!

Have been to a couple of shows here now and really love the venue. The size is perfect, the stage is great, nice selection of food & drinks, and best of all of course are the variety of shows. Had lots of fun at a standup comedy night and the Wednesday Weirdness series. Lots of great concerts & dancing too. Look forward to a season of great entertainment here. Highly recommend.

Great theatre in Santa Rosa, offering live theater and live music. Eats, too!

Luv this place. Soo welcoming starting at the entrance. Kat works hard to get your drinks and food. Always with a friendly smile. Have been to Blues Mondays, Soul Section, and Forbidden Kiss. What fun. Crowd is friendly and polite, readily up and dancing. Easy parking. Will keep going back. Thank you to the people who made this place happen!

Beautiful, intimate room for listening to intimate music. All of the musicians I've have seen listed there are top notch. Go.

With the seating capacity at a little over 1600 seats (upstairs and downstairs) God honest truth every seat in the house is good and sound system at Luther is always far above satisfaction. Tonight saw Blind Boys of Alabama with Special Guest Charlie Musselwhite and it was a night to remember. Can't wait to go back

We had such a great time going with a big group to see our favorite thespian, Lorenzo! Always such a pleasure.

Yesterday we watched "The one-act play that goes wrong". It was so funny, wonderful light entertainment. I had tears in my eyes... We loved the whole cast and the vibe of the theatre.

I love this place! The decorations are lovely. The drinks are good. The space is set up well for listening to live music. The price is affordable. Dress warm if you go on a cold night because it's partially exposed to the outdoors. They provided blankets on the night that I went. The announcer was funny. The chairs weren't super comfortable but I'm short so most chairs aren't the right height for me.

This is a magical place. A very particular, very special magical place and it is a huge part of one of my most favorite days of my life thus far.

5000% one of my favorite places on earth. Santa Rosa and Sonoma County needs this venue. In fact, every town needs a Lost Church. Highly recommend a visit to tap in with local culture.

It was so good to know that after a very long, and seemingly interminable interval, that summer repertory was and has returned. Judging from the difficulty of getting tickets four weeks after sales for the season opened, it seemed that many others were looking forward to something more than a Saturday night movie on KQED. My theatergoing companion and I held a sense that a lot of pent up energy was going to be gushing forth and make this the best season yet. Nyet.

The new studio theater is a delightful space. The seating is wonderful. And the temperature in the theater was stifling. First time back in new quarters was not the time for a display of economy or a practical application of social consciousness. We were melting--and noted that after each intermission the audience kept shrinking. But the insufferable temperature was not the only cause for audience attrition. The production was utterly dreadful.

There was no chemistry among the actors. One actor drifted between audible/inaudible while another gave an insecure, stilted delivery with inadequate script and character study preparation. And the British accents: some actors did, some didn't, and some delivered muddled versions drifting in and out of accent-land. The young Asian leads (brothers?) seemed to have better script preparation than any of the other actors but their lacking performance seemed more an issue of inadequate direction. And the young female leads? Trying too hard to make up some kind of a shortfall somewhere. From start to finish it was more along the lines of a high school drama production.

Something significant has affected how the talent pool is acquired.
This company in times past has cast a wide net to bring exceptional talent from many different places. The printed programs gave us small bios where we could read about the actors and celebrate the diversity that characterized our summer rep. We came expecting a level of quality based upon decades of productions that got better and better, year after year, but that was not our reality this past Saturday night. We are hoping that the remainder of the summer season holds greater rewards.

How exciting to find a new venue in Santa Rosa! It's small and casual with amazing interior vintage decor vibes...super friendly crowd and staff. Highly recommend!

The Luther Burbank Center for the Arts is located on the northern outskirts of Santa Rosa. It is a performance venue that has brought a wide range of culture to the Santa Rosa area for many years. My wife and I just had the opportunity to experience the Alonzo King Lines Ballet. It was a mixture of classical and more modern expressive dance that created a visual beauty that was at once stunning and beautiful.

We just saw the play "Scrooge in Love". It was very well done; great story, great acting, great singing, great special effects, nice comfortable venue. Highly recommended!

Had a great time and enjoyed a great show by the Temptations, one of my many all time favorites!! And to be able to see the last remaining OG Temptation, Otis Williams! 🎤🌹💕🎶🎵🎼🤙🍺🇺🇸😎

First time at this venue.
Parking onsite was easy, and a five min walk at most.
I am impressed by the facility, staff, and overall organization.
We had balcony seating, excellent view of the stage and the audio was just right.
DWTS show was a delight!

Fun, affordable live theater with a solid history of delighting young audiences in Sonoma County! Very family friendly and the perfect way to introduce little ones to the joy of live performance!

A Theater for Children is a wonderful organization run by Bridget Palmer and her wonderful cast of community volunteers. The productions are fun and entertaining, and a great way to spend an afternoon! Bring your children to see a quality production and support children's theater at the same time! That's a win/win in my book!

Awesome theater, very affordable for families. Great as an activity for younger kids. They've put on a lot of great productions over the years and are dedicated to serving the community.

Saw Scrooge in Love tonite and enjoyed it immensely. Excellent imaginative musical with stellar performances by all in the cast, strong vocals by the principals and supports alike, well delivered humor and emotional scenes alike, and a nice family tone setter for Xmas this Friday. Bravo, 6SP for putting on a great production!

Show was amazing. Best circus de solei show we have seen. Cassie twissellman was beautiful and had a great show.

Wonderful new spot for hearing live music right downtown in Santa Rosa (very short walk to all the fun restaurants). Really nicely and artfully set up inside. The folks running this venue could not be sweeter and we enjoyed being there on opening night amongst a crowd of attentive and supportive music lovers (vs a bunch of drunk people who don't care who the band is). Definitely worth checking out the line-up!

Terrific acting, well staged, high energy, engaging

The first time I saw this play was an SRT production years and years and years ago. I can’t remember swear words in the play then, though there may have been some. However, the current production has made the horrible mistake of thinking swear words themselves are funny. They are not.

SRT has taken a charming little play and nearly ruined it with inappropriate obscene language which adds nothing to the play. The question is why.

My heartfelt thanks to the actors who did a marvelous job with this misguided production.

Do go see a production of this play, just not this one

Always puts up one great production after another. Never ceases to amaze me. I'm always happy to go see a show over there, and every production of there's that I've participated in has been a great experience. I love this place and I can never get enough of it.

Working here is tough but you learn a lot and everyone works together to put up five, great shows.

An amazing, creative theatre company. Very original - nothing like them anywhere in the bay area as far as I've seen. They've been performing for over 20 years - the last 8 in Santa Rosa. If you've been avoiding theatre because you can't stand another production of "Cats" or "Oklahoma" CHECK THESE GUYS OUT! They will blow your mind!
