I can't say enough about the acting, music and singing in the "Ragtime" play. It is a shame you only had two performances because it was worth many more performances!

Incredible experience with my 1st grade class!
What a great location to watch a live performance. There were plenty of locations to enter the amphitheater to reach your seating location. If you get lost, no worries.....there are plenty of staff members to guide you. The only downfall for us was the super expensive beverage items. If you are attending an event here.....may I suggest the Homewood Suites right across the street. Less than a 3 minute walk. We would definitely attend another event at this location. Thanks to Red Mountain Entertainment and Foreigner for the memories.

I've visited this magnificent old theatre for the past 70 years and never tire of the ornate scenery and twinkling ceiling lights. The new seats are a welcome upgrade and very comfortable.

Very friendly atmosphere. Loved the experience!
I have been here several times now. The facility is nice enough, however they could stand to put a few large fans along the outside of the seating area for the very hot southern days. Some of the staff were quite friendly and helpful and others more like why are you bothering me. The concessions are regular ballpark fare. They could stand to upgrade their offering.
Every concert I have attended the performance was really great. The last one 50 Cent was excellent and I was pleasantly pleased with the showmanship displayed by all of the artists.
Definitely go to concerts there just be mindful about the heat and don't have high expectations for food options.

Lyle Lovett Concert - Far Exceeded expectations. Alabama Theater fabulous as always
Had a great time watching 3 doors down Saturday and then Jason Aldean on Sunday!! Just wish drinks and snacks were more on the affordable side.
I visited the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater for the first time, last night, and enjoyed my experience for the most part. The event was wonderful, but there’s far from enough parking for the facility, they didn’t allow umbrellas in 🤨, and when looking up concert prices, they were a bit expensive in my opinion for it being outside in the weather.
This place is pretty awesome. The acoustics are spectacular. It's not a very big venue which I like. The lines were never to long and every seat has a good view.
First time there & went to see Hallelujah Girls. It was awesome. Loved the theater, but Snack stand needs some rethinking because it's not in a good space.
The venue was professional, organized and efficient. The staff was knowledgeable and courteous.

Lauren Daigle was warm and personal. I’ve been told her concerts are like a praise and worship service…I was not let down. If you have a chance to see her in concert…do it! You won’t be disappointed.

Best of Enemies was so good. I did cry.
Based on a true and very real and hard account of integration of black and white.
Acting was superb and the set was beautiful.
This play was very necessary!! I thoroughly enjoyed it! Please go see it!!!

Absolutely love Theater Tuscaloosa. A local treasure. Taking off one star though. Auditions for the latest show supposedly were from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. I got there at 9:45. The theater was open but not a soul in sight. 😔

Excellent plays and presentations given by performers that give their all to entertain the community. We enjoy every performance and look forward to the next one as soon as we leave the current one. Theater is clean and every seat is a good one
I'm going to say great because there is an audition happening, so not sure what the environment is during a performance.

My favorite place in the world! Wonderful atmosphere. Top notch staff. A beautiful venue for seeing any type of show. Come and sit under the stars and enjoy anything from a thrilling musical, dance recital, comedy act, rock show, or an independent film.
We went to see a Christmas Carol here. The show was beautiful. The sightlines were incredible and their use if effects we're breathtaking. Its located in a good place and it's just overall beautiful.

I saw Ragtime tonight. The entire cast is amazing--especially the actors who play Coalhouse and Sarah--and the themes are so timely and so relevant to the concerns of our time. (Sad to say, a story based on 1910, written in 1975 is so incredibly relevant to our times.) It portrays the struggles of immigrants, the plight of the working poor, and anti-black violence. Too, it shows well-meaning white people who don't quite do enough but who grow in awareness and become more committed to act. It also shows the dream of America that we all want to achieve and to share. It is beautiful, heart-breaking, and inspiring. There's so much to think about in this play, and the production is incredibly professional, from the simple but ingenious set and props to the beautiful costumes and outstanding orchestra. I cannot recommend it enough. I happened to buy tickets simply because I thought it would be nice to see a play while passing through Tuscaloosa on our way home from vacation. I feel blessed to have seen it. I hope it inspires us all to do all we can to help one another and to make America a place where everyone can "ride on the wheels of a dream."
