Great local arts center with fabulous acts and plays and musicals
I LOVE this theater. We have a home north and south and save our theater going for here because it is SO special. I’m not sure how we get such top rate shows for those prices and such a cozy theater. Fences was over the top.
Just saw the performance of CLUE. An over the top great performance with and unusually strong group of actors. Witty, funny (funny is probably an understatement) and so well executed. The twists and turns and set adaptation were all stellar. The interaction from the lead with the audience was especially funny and great. A fast paced performance that had some really fun surprises. The character castings were absolutely terrific. Though we have seen many, many performances here, all of which in our opinion were excellent, this one clearly was one of the best to date.
Very nice theater which holds around 300 people. Very good acting. We saw the stage play version of Clue. Customs and set were excellent. Great night all the way around.
We had the pleasure of seeing “Clue” last night! Very nice location, staff, seating, and experience!! Bravo!!! We will definitely be back for another show!!
Thank you!!
CLUE was Amazing!! The cast was absolutely awesome!! A must see!!
Very cool opportunity for teens interested in theatre with an impressive product to show for it. Great work! Audience was very entertained.
What an incredible show, just amazing!!!!
Don’t miss this show. Another hit for Ben Wolfe and all the talented people he brings to this Island!!
Excellent small market venue! Not a bad seat with great sound acoustics. Very professional staff.
Great play my God I thought I was in Hollywood or New York City Love love every thing keep up the great work!!!??
My wife and I visited the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina in December 2022 for the play "A Christmas Story - The Musical." The play was funny and heartwarming and all the actors did a wonderful job both acting and singing. It was our first visit to the venue and we sat in the back row center of the theater. The seats were comfortable and our view of the stage was very good. The staff we encountered were helpful and friendly and the sound and lighting in the theater were both excellent. This is a rather intimate theater so there really are no bad seats, but we were glad that we chose the seats toward the middle. Bathrooms are a little cramped and can be crowded during intermission. We had a great time and look forward to visiting again.
My wife and I watched the Rock of Ages this evening.

What an amazing cast. The entire show was entertaining and we thoroughly enjoyed our night.

If you have never been, this place is a must.
Unique and well done plays by Lean Ensemble.
Whether you're looking for an amazing program for your student or a fantastic evening out, SSTI exceeded all our expectations. The production quality was top notch and it was hard to believe a young cast could create such magic on stage. The dancing, singing, and sets were all of the highest caliber.
Considering the limited resources a very well done stage play with Incredible Talent BrightStar a must-see
Fantastic musical performance of Bright Star by Steve Martin. A must see before the last performance next week Sunday!
This program was in my daughter's words "the best experience of her life.". She is eighteen and this is the first time she was really on her own. She grew and accomplished many things not only in her craft theater tech, but in some truly important life skills that was a major achievement for her. From the time she was notified on her 18 birthday that she was accepted into this program, until the day we picked her up from tear down, nothing has made her as happy as anything SSTI. Thank you Ben and amazing staff for providing such a fabulous program and a truly great experience for theater passionate youth.
The show was amazing, incredible talent!! High School Musical was totally worth it!!
My daughter Drew has enjoyed the summer camp here for quite a few summers.
The Arts Center is an AMAZING place to see a show! We went to see Get the Led Out and we couldn't have had more fun! Any seat in the auditorium is a good seat. The auditorium only holds 350 people. This was our first time and we bought front row. Front row in this venue is like sitting front row at a movie theater. I highly suggest third row and back. Also, when you purchase a beverage, the venue makes you spend an additional $5 on a sippy cup. We were not thrilled about that, however, you can use it for upcoming events. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves. Heading back this summer with the girls to see Legally Blonde!!
I absolutely loved being in multiple productions with this theatre! MSYT is the prefect theatre for kids like me who really love theatre and want to develop their talent and make it big one day! I would definitely recommend it for any rising actors/actresses out there!
Rachel Stratton was amazing.
Saw and elf standing musical tribute to Frank Sinatra entitled "My Way". If you're still in Hilton Head through July 29th we highly recommend you're seeing this show. Creative choreography and energetic performance by talented young performers.
Fantastic performance of GREASE!
High energy, terrifically talented cast.
Superb set design and lighting.
A MUST SEE!!!
What an awesome little gem of a place. Had such a good time. Loved the fact that they were all children, definitely kept my daughter glued to the stage. Will be returning for The Little Mermaid for sure
Staff is outstanding. Staff is overwhelmingly more professional and courteous that the Art Center. Facility is much more pleasant and acoustic beats the Art Center by miles. It makes the Art Center look like amateur night in Hickville.
SSTI is performing Catch Me if You Can at Hilton Head High School's Seahawk Cultural Center at 7:30 pm on June 24th, 25th, July 1st, and 2nd, as well as 2:00 on June 26th and July 3rd.

Produced by Ben Wolfe and directed by Joe Barros (Associate Director of Broadway's Gigi), SSTI has brought together very talented youth from 26 states and 4 countries for their three summer productions.

Be sure to see their very memorable performance of Catch Me if You Can!
