Miriam lives in a small town. She should not treat people poorly in restaurants and other public places. You never know if your funding resources are watching and overhear you.
A staple in the local arts community, which hosts new works, a 24 hour play fest, the Adirondack Theatre Festival season, stand-up comedy and more. It is a safe, accepting location for any and all respectful lovers of the performing arts.
Love the shows here. Employees and staff are friendly & helpful
We saw Tuning In! It was awesome. Our first time there. We'll go again.

We recently held our 50th GFHS class reunion at the Park Theater. It was a fantastic evening, beautiful venue and the food was delicious! The staff was exceptional to work with from start to finish and we thank you all. We would highly recommend to anyone interested. Our thanks again to everyone.

What a local treasure! Thank you for keeping the arts alive! We attended a fabulous show last weekend and always have an amazing time!
Our wedding day was absolutely PERFECT! The venue, staff, and food were all amazing. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how delicious the food was!!! The venue was so intimate and perfect for our small 50 person wedding. Kibbie, the event manager was a true professional. She was there to offer her experience and answer my questions every step of the way. The wait staff provided us with outstanding service throughout the entire event! I would HIGHLY recommend that you choose The Park Theatre for your special day.

Comfortable seats, the sound was fairly clear, and the architecture of it all was very interesting. They have a lot going on here. We will be back.
Had a great time, play started on time. Actresses and actors were phenomenal. I thought I was on Broadway. Definitely recommend, and we'll be going again.
My husband and I have held multiple events here as we love it! Great venue, great people to work with, and very accommodating. They will work with you to create a successful event. This is a perfect spot for a wedding!
Do NOT get married here. The staff were extremely rude to members of the wedding party. They do not seem to have any sense of customer service. In my opinion, the wedding party should be taken care of, not threatened when they ask for a drink. If you want your guests to be treated well and have a good time, I would definitely skip out on this venue!!

Great small venue theater. Listened to group 12th Mile. Great music in comfy beautiful table and chairs setting.
My husband and I just hosted a small intimate wedding here and it was absolutely perfect. The restaurant’s food is incredible and I can’t say enough about the event team! Casey, the event coordinator, went above and beyond for us a countless number of times! We planned our wedding in only 3 weeks and I can’t speak highly enough about her expertise and professionalism. If you are looking to host a small event of any kind, I very strongly recommend you give Park theater and Doc’s restaurant a call.

Without a doubt one of the nicest venues for an evening out. General admission set cabaret style. Exceptional entertainment (southern rock tribute band), food and drinks downstairs at Docs Restaurant. Tickets were extremely reasonable, $25. I cant wait to try jazz evening on the 3rd Thursday of the month for $10, and comedy night on the last friday of the month. One of the most enjoyable nights out with easy access, parking and covid safe. Loved it!
I left message on Martha Banta Old Page on Facebook. I am a Actor Writer Director Film Maker. And Stunt Man Mostly Physical Comedy. We Even Knew Carrol Burnett. I want to Wish the Theater a Great Season When It opens. Thanks.
Went to see West side story. Was beyond my expectations. The casting was pretty good especially Maria. They all sang very well but Tony and Maria were phenomenal singers. My only complaint is that the place was freezing cold so I was very uncomfortable through the whole play. I never saw so many kids with so much talent all in one place.
Such a beautiful theater. It's neat and clean, and intimate, with seating for approximately 294 people. The acoustics are very good in the theater and I don't believe that there is a bad seat in the house. There's a great PA system unlike some of the smaller intimate theaters locally, where if you're in the back of the theater, you can't hear. That's not the case here. They really do offer quite a variety of shows for the young and old alike. They have beer and wine which is nice, and unlike some of the other theaters where you have to drink it before you go in to the theater, you are allowed to bring it to your seat, which is a HUGE plus. The theater is in the old Woolworth's building, so not only is it historical, but they've tried to keep some of the charm from the building. Woolworths had a luncheonette counter inside the building back in it's day, and the sign from Woolworth's luncheonette is displayed in the theater lobby, and it's in relatively excellent condition. The restrooms are in the basement, which can be a challenge for seniors and individuals with mobility issues. However, there is an elevator that will bring you down to the lower level to use the restrooms if you are not able to master the stairs. A gem worth a visit from anywhere, and definitely a place to revisit
Interesting new plays in a great setting
Fantastic professional theatre with a focus on new work. Well worth the ticket every time!
Love all the unique shows, Loch Ness and Knights of the Sales office were some of my favorites, some are misses (Star Wars one), but they’re all new and interesting and I’m always glad I went, season passes are also a great deal
The plays presented here are extraordinary and totally unique to the area. The house itself is a beautifully remade Woolworth store without a single bad seat. The seats are comfy and easy to access and the lobby is spacious with ample space for those waiting to take their seats. And there is more than ample free parking within easy walking distance from the theater.
Limited runs of high quality new shows with NYC based actors, designers, and directors. A little slice of Broadway in the Adirondacks
Plays are great, amazing actors, creative designers... It is all you look for when you expect to watch a great show.
This place always has great opportunities to watch various things. They have a great medium of live performances and movie showings for families. Also a great variety on shows for families and adult shows. It's great lighting, and sound. The seats are cozy and you're guaranteed a good night. Lastly, they are amazing with the volunteer program which makes the workers warm and welcoming.
