Lovely garden, a nice place to sit and be quiet for a few minutes.
Went to a garden tea party. It was lovely: scones, finger sandwiches, fruit and more.
The garden has been well-tended this year. The staff is very nice. Also didba tour of the house with a very knowlegable docent.

It was beautiful the outside. We went on a Sunday and they told us it wasn't open until next Sunday so we couldn't experience the house
A great community place to enjoy respite and culture
Incredible place of respite from a hot summer day. A century of German immigrant life condensed in a home where strangers become friends with partaking of a tour, fruit punch, and colors for the eyes in the Victorian garden. If you are in Queens, please make sure to plan for an outing to the Voelker Orth Museum. There is also art exhibit inside the house. As you wander, see yourself in another time and space and marvel at what others in a hundred years will think of you. What would you want them to know? What objects would your museum have?
Found this place by accident great museum about a German immigrant family
Visited the house today and was charmed by the place. This is a gem.
Most of the furniture is original and the garden, at the time of the year, is a feast for the eyes. Tulips are flowering profusely, ditto a deep red cherry tree. The docent was very informative and friendly. Highly recommended

A beautiful house and they have amazing workshops .... And activities for kids my daughter loved it the back yard the view of the garden its amazing the staff and the tour guide very friendly people and so polite and patient with the kids when it comes to the workshops .... Very interesting history this museum house has !!! We loved it so much that we will becoming back for all the workshops 👌🏻🤗
