Just awesome. You can enjoy the place. Lots of birds are present there. I went there at the closing time, so i couldn't complete the full bird enclosure. Second time, I shall must visit this once. I personally recommend you, whose are reading this to share there experience about bird enclosure.

Don't rush inside. Give time to your eyes to set with the inside environment.

Another primary attraction of Nandankanan Zoological Park which is the shelter for nocturnal animals. The entrance of this place is good for photography. Once you enter, you can see owls, some night dwelling snakes, bats, bandicoot, coyote & other huge species of nocturnal animals.
It's another bird enclosure in Nandankanan where you can find those birds which are set free. These birds are kept inside places covered by some fence like bar wire, etc. Typically, flightless birds are seen here & the main attraction is the Cassowary which is analogous to the Ostrich.

Best place to visit birds
Best thing for me. It's like a safari , you get inside and there a no of variety parrot present. They are free flying around you. And you also see some duck variety there as well. You entre there free of cost and enjoy the inside beauty. In variety among parrot I love the color whose total body is yellow with light orange beak. Major parrots are conior variety

Nandankanan Zoological Park has a special domain dedicated for the nocturnal animals, who are shy to roam in lights. But the place is too small and congested and although glass cages help them keep away from the sound, but mobile flashes disturb them in all ways possible!
Nandan Kanan Zoological Garden has an extensive collection of local and exotic birds.
The place is same as it was 13 years ago when I visited. Many species were missing. I felt very sad when I saw many nocturnal animals were missing from the enclosure
