I had to visit an in-person branch twice, and both times this branch was super helpful and I was able to complete everything I needed. I'm not sure why the reviews are so low, both people I dealt with were kind and helpful.

I wanted to highlight the stark difference between two recent customer service experiences. The lady in the credit department was exceptionally kind and helpful, providing exemplary support. However, my experience with a gentleman in the debit department was completely opposite.

The interaction was so unpleasant and disheartening due to his unprofessional and impolite demeanour that I am genuinely searching to switch banks. I have never encountered such poor customer service and cannot recommend the debit department to anyone based on this interaction. It left me feeling both frustrated and demeaned, which is unacceptable in any customer service setting.

Worst customer service. Intentionally asked for more than 10 details and multiple identity proofs when we were closing the account.

Always very pleased with the service here. Alexa Serapiglia truly goes above and beyond and is an extremely valuable asset to the Scotiabank team. In general, the staff is patient, efficient, and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this location for quality service.

I've been working with Lynne Owen for the past 10 years, and I can't say enough good things about her. George Stathopoulos is also fabulous to work with. They go above and beyond for all of your requests, and are extremely kind, knowledgeable, professional, and helpful.

Awful technical support, been waiting for years to contact the agent. No, response on call always queued. Guess we are investing in such a company who does not care about the customers who are investing with them. Shame.

This is a two-star review, and both of those stars belong to Lynne Owen. If you are lucky enough to come here as a student in a professional program like med school or law school, she handles the Student Professional Lines of Credit, and is the most competent, professional, attentive, and skilled person. If and only if this is your business, this is the branch you want to be at.

Working with her gave me an impression of this branch as a great hub for young professionals. As soon as I was out of her hands and passed on to other staff, nothing could be further from the truth. I was mis-scheduled, kept waiting for 40 minutes to hear from an advisor who had to sneak out of our meeting to ask somebody else how to help me, and came back with a phone number written on her hand that I could have just called from home. My opinion of a branch never started out so high, and never finished so low.

This low review is no reflection on Lynne, who was wonderful to work with throughout my degree program. Again, if that's your business, go here with confidence, as long as you move on as soon as you''re in danger of falling into less capable hands.

The employees here don’t value your time as they cannot manage their own time.

Made appointment here to open an account and the front desk made us wait for 10+ minutes. When we went up to ask about our appointment, they told us they were too caught up with something else and for us to wait more, with no time estimates. You could have told us when we arrived, not at the moment we asked. Why should we give you our business?
